Chapter 233 The Ghost Bride 7

Sun's mother trembled as she turned on the light, her eyes meeting Sun Guangzong's unseeing gaze.

Blood was still oozing from his mouth, and his body, which was exposed outside the blanket, was completely stained red with blood.

"ah……"

Grandma Sun screamed.

"What are you yelling and screaming about in the middle of the night?" Sun's father was woken up and opened his eyes impatiently.

Upon seeing the scene before him, he was so frightened that he tumbled off the bed.

"Someone come quick! Someone come quick!"

The two shouted loudly, and the corpse on the bed suddenly sat up, its neck stiffly turning a few times.

A strange smile curled at the corner of his lips, but when he spoke, it was a woman's gentle voice:

"Father-in-law, Mother-in-law, Huanyu has come back to see you. Are you happy?"

"It's...it's Liang Huanyu, she's back."

Sun's mother was deathly pale, incoherent, and kept backing away.

Sun's father was also quite frightened, but he was a ruthless character after all. He drew his rapier and slashed wildly at Sun Guangzong's body.

"You're just playing tricks. I wasn't afraid of you when you were alive, and I'm still not afraid of you now that you're dead."

Sun Guangzong's body was hacked to pieces, and he suddenly cried out in his original voice, "Father, Mother, it hurts so much! Why did you kill me?"

Sun's mother grabbed Sun's father and cried, "Master, this is Guangzong, our son!"

Sun's father hesitated for a moment, then Sun Guangzong suddenly snatched the sword and said viciously, "You can all die."

The two men were hacked to pieces by Sun Guangzong. Sun Guangzong, with his severed neck twisted to the side, laughed and said:

"Don't worry, we'll send your most precious youngest son to keep you company soon."

"Ahhh..." Mr. and Mrs. Sun woke up screaming, covered in sweat.

Turn on the lights, and the room is brightly lit.

They looked at each other in fear: "You also dreamed that Emperor Guangzong turned into..."

The two quickly checked the area and found no body, no blood, and the rapier was still hanging on the wall.

“It was just a dream, but how could we have such a terrible dream?” said Sun’s mother.

Thinking of something, Sun's mother said in a panic, "Could it really be that little bitch causing trouble? She..."

"shut up."

Mr. Sun, though outwardly stern, rebuked her, "She's completely suppressed by the master's talisman. How could she possibly cause trouble? It's just a dream. Don't overthink it."

Sun's mother forced herself to remain calm and said, "Yes, it was just a dream. Guangzong is perfectly fine. I went to see him before I went to bed, and he was still grieving over that bitch's death."

Sun's father cursed, "What a good-for-nothing! He's been bewitched by a woman. What can he do besides embarrass me? He's not even as good as Yaozu's finger."

“Master, please don’t say that. We have indeed neglected Guangzong all these years. If we had known he would be so fond of that slut, we would have kept her.”

Mr. Sun slapped Mrs. Sun across the face: "Shut up! If I hear you say that again, I'll never forgive you. Don't ever mention the Liang surname again."

Sun's mother dared not disobey him: "Yes, sir."

Just as the two were about to lie down, Sun's father kicked something under the covers.

He yanked back the covers, and Sun Guangzong's bloodied head lay on the bed, his unseeing eyes staring straight at them.

"ah……"

The two screamed in unison, tumbling off the bed in a panic, shouting for help.

However, it was quiet outside, and not a single servant came.

Out of the corner of her eye, Sun's mother caught a glimpse of red. Looking over, she saw a pair of exquisite red embroidered shoes appear beside the bed.

The toes of the shoes point inwards, as if the owner of the embroidered shoes is standing steadily by the bed, watching everything.

Sun's mother fainted before she could even scream.

Still lost in his dream, Sun's father drew his rapier, intending to behead Sun Guangzong, but he tripped and the rapier pierced his own abdomen.

Sun's father also fainted.

In Sun Yaozu's bedroom.

After they finished their playful antics, Sun Yaozu and Gao Xuan fell asleep sweetly in each other's arms.

Suddenly, Sun Yaozu felt an itch on his face, as if a woman's hair was brushing against it.

Sun Yaozu thought it was Gao Xuan's hair, so he closed his eyes and reached to brush the hair off his face.

He grabbed it and felt a bone-chilling cold. Then he heard a woman's soft laughter, right next to him.

Gao Xuan also couldn't sleep soundly. She felt very cold, as if the source of the cold was right above her. She snuggled closer to Sun Yaozu.

The two of them didn't open their eyes, so they couldn't see the extremely bizarre and terrifying scene.

Above them, a female ghost in a red wedding dress floated horizontally, her extremely long black hair hanging down, the ends brushing against their faces.

Sun Yaozu muttered, "Xuanxuan, your hair..."

Before he could finish speaking, he suddenly realized something was wrong. Gao Xuan had curly hair, while the hair in his hand was straight.

The two opened their eyes almost simultaneously, and then came face to face with Liang Huanyu's face, which was half rotting.

The moonlight inside was unusually bright, just enough for them to see the face clearly.

A gaping, dark mouth opened wide, dripping black blood onto their cheeks: "Sun Yaozu, Gao Xuan, I've come to find you."

When a person is terrified to the extreme, they become speechless.

They lay there, the female ghost's face almost pressed against theirs, and they couldn't even sit up.

Their teeth chattered, their eyes almost bursting out of their sockets. After a long while, Gao Xuan's scream finally broke out of her throat.

She screamed and buried her face in Sun Yaozu's arms.

Sun Yaozu closed his eyes and tried to remain calm: "Xuanxuan, don't be afraid, there are no ghosts in this world."

Qi An chuckled softly in their ears: "Since you say there's no ghost, then why are you shaking? Open your eyes and look at me."

Gao Xuan buried herself in Sun Yaozu's arms, not daring to look up. Sun Yaozu kept his eyes tightly closed, deceiving himself into thinking that if he couldn't see it, it didn't exist.

Fu Gui complained, "That son of a bitch, he went abroad to study and got some foreign knowledge, and now he doesn't know his own worth. He himself is the biggest feudal dregs."

"And that Gao Xiaosan is even more shameless. She uses the guise of a modern woman to get involved with a married man. What kind of free love is that? No matter what, she's still a mistress."

Qi An said, "It's alright. I'm not here to judge them, but to give them a taste of their own medicine."

Sun Yaozu and Gao Xuan felt as if needles were pricking their eyelids, and involuntarily opened their eyes.

Liang Huanyu is still alive.

Gao Xuan said in a trembling voice, "It wasn't me who hurt you, I didn't do anything, don't come looking for me."

Sun Yaozu also said, "Huanyu, I just want to divorce you, I didn't mean to kill you. Please let me go for the sake of our marriage."

Qi An laughed: "You all say you didn't harm me, so how did I die? Did I deserve it?"

The two shook their heads frantically.

Qi An stopped wasting words with them and used his skeletal claws to tear off their tongues.

Then Qi An ripped off their arms and legs, just like tearing off the limbs of a doll.

Without their tongues, the two could only whimper, fainting and waking up repeatedly.

The bedding was soaked in blood, and the stench of blood in the room was so strong it was nauseating.

Sun Yaozu and Gao Xuan eventually fainted completely.

When they woke up again, they were lying in coffins.
