The appearance is not much different from the later ones, but there is no air conditioning inside, and in the summer you can only rely on the electric fan above your head to keep away the heat.
It took about seven or eight stops before they arrived at where they wanted to go.
After getting off the subway, the snow outside had stopped falling, but it was still windy.
The two walked along the cement road towards their destination.
The destination was a residential building that looked quite old.
Hu Jun took Hu Lin through the inspection of the gate guard and entered the compound.
We followed the path, turning left and right, and finally stopped in front of a two-story house.
"We're here." Hu Jun said to Hu Lin and went forward to knock on the door.
The person who opened the door was a middle-aged woman, who looked to be in her forties, with fair skin, thin figure and a gentle manner.
Seeing her, he warmly invited her in.
Hu Lin smiled back and followed Hu Jun into the house.
There is a small courtyard outside the house, which is covered with a thick layer of snow at this time, but there are no trees for viewing. I guess they are all used as land to grow vegetables.
After entering the house, it was much warmer. There was indoor heating and a charcoal stove.
The interior decoration is warm and tasteful, and looks simple and elegant.
The sofas are all leather spring sofas.
Compared with Xiaohe Village, this place is like heaven and hell.
But they deserve it.
The middle-aged woman heated up some milk for Hu Lin and handed a cup to each of them. "Come and have a cup of milk to warm yourself up."
The two thanked him before taking the milk.
The middle-aged woman said to Hu Lin, "Good boy, just treat it like you are at home. Don't be restrained."
Hu Lin smiled and nodded, looking a little shy.
"Junzi, take your sister out to play while I go cook.
Wait for your teacher to come back, and then we will have dinner."
The middle-aged woman gave Hu Jun some instructions and went to the kitchen to get busy.
When Hu Lin heard the word "sister", his eyelids raised for a moment, but then he didn't bother with the details.
"I understand, Master's Wife."
Hu Jun agreed with a smile, and turned his head to look at Hu Lin, feeling a little guilty for some reason.
"Want to go out for a walk?"
"Forget it. The wind outside is so strong that my face will crack if it continues to blow." Hu Lin joked to himself.
"Then I'll take you upstairs for a walk." Hu Jun stood up and Hu Lin followed behind.
And take her purse with you.
The layout of the second floor is similar to that of the first floor, except that there is a bulky-looking TV in the living room.
The screen is not big, it is square.
"Do you want to watch TV?" Hu Jun looked at Hu Lin, who was not surprised at all, and felt a little confused.
He brought Hu Lin all the way here, and Hu Lin was very calm.
Seeing many things she had never heard of, there was no surprise in her eyes.
There was only a flash of surprise in his eyes when he heard the word "subway", but no other emotions.
It was so different from how it looked when he first saw these things.
In Hu Lin, there is no sense of being a "country bumpkin coming to the city".
He felt as if Hu Lin already knew about the existence of these things.
The last time he went back, he had the same feeling when he told Hu Lin about what he saw and heard here.
But that time, the impression Hu Lin gave them was far less profound than the one they had now.
“No thanks.” Television at that time was still in black and white, and the programs were very monotonous.
If the model of the dish is not powerful enough, you won’t be able to search for programs.
From time to time, the screen may be filled with snow, which is nothing to see.
Hu Lin looked around and lost interest after he understood what was going on.
Hu Jun noticed Hu Lin's subtle mood changes, hesitated for a moment, and asked: "Why don't you go to my room and take a look?
I see you have dark circles under your eyes. If you feel sleepy, you can take a nap."
This made Hu Lin a little interested, "Okay."
She sat in a hard seat for two nights in a row and didn't sleep well.
Hu Jun had a faint smile on his face and took Hu Lin to his bedroom.
Hu Jun's bedroom is simple and looks clean and tidy.
There are books on the desk and bookshelf. There is a green-capped, cord-operated desk lamp on the desk, and a wooden chair in front of the desk.
The quilt cover on the bed is blue plaid. Next to the bedside table is a wooden wardrobe with a vertical mirror in the middle.
Hu Jun pulled out the chair he usually sat on and asked Hu Lin to sit on it, while he stood aside.
Hu Lin put the money box on the desk, picked up a hardcover book with red inscriptions entitled "Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations", and flipped through a few pages.
To be honest, she didn't quite understand it.
The symbols looked familiar yet strange.
But on the desk, there was a pile of Hu Jun's calculation manuscripts.
Hu Lin put the book down, glanced at the obviously very professional books on the desk, and turned his head to look at Hu Jun.
Question: “Where did you learn these?”
"Two thirds." Hu Jun didn't know whether Hu Lin understood it or not, so he explained seriously.
Hu Lin nodded, put his right hand on the money box, and said solemnly, "During my stay in the capital, please keep this box for me.
There is something very important in it, and it cannot be lost."
This contained all her assets, almost ten thousand dollars, and it would be more unsafe to keep it in a hotel than here.
"Okay." Hu Jun agreed without any curiosity.
Hu Lin was very satisfied with this.
"I want to sleep for a while." Hu Lin glanced at the bed out of the corner of his eye and felt sleepy.
"Okay, I'll go to the kitchen to help the master's wife. I don't think she can handle it alone."
Hu Jun talked to himself, went out, and closed the door quietly.
Hu Lin took a glance, stood up and sat on the bed to feel the Simmons mattress under his butt, and felt an indescribable feeling in his heart.
