But then Xu Mu pulled a book from his pocket and started flipping through it. He pointed to a certain part of the book, looked at it carefully, and then stared at Qin Chuan in disbelief, saying:
"Fifth brother-in-law, you actually got it right! It's exactly the same answer as in the ancient book!"
"What? He actually got it right!?"
Su Ruxue's face was filled with disbelief.
Even Su Ruyan's eyes were filled with surprise.
"Husband, look carefully! Is this the answer?" Su Ruxue glared at her husband and said.
Xu Mu glanced at the book again and nodded, saying, "That's right, it's twenty-three and twelve."
Su Ruxue snatched the book away, read it carefully twice, and then snorted coldly:
"You actually got it right..."
Qin Chuan smiled slightly, took Su Ruyan's hand, and said, "Third Sister, can we go in now?"
Before Su Ruxue could speak, he walked inside.
To everyone's surprise, Su Ruxue shouted, "Stop! Who let you in?!"
"Third sister, a person should keep their word. You can't go back on your word. You just said that as long as I answered correctly, you would let us in. Your husband heard that too," Qin Chuan said, stopping in his tracks.
Xu Mu nodded immediately.
Su Ruxue sneered and said:
"This question doesn't count; you just guessed right. Husband, aren't you good at writing poetry? You can challenge him to a poem, and only if he wins can he go in!"
"Wife, I don't know how..." Xu Mu looked troubled.
“Who said you can’t?” Su Ruxue grabbed Xu Mu’s ear and yelled in his ear, “He’s an idiot! You can’t beat him?”
"Wife! Wife!" Xu Mu cried out in pain, "I can! I can!"
"Hey, Fifth Brother-in-law, I've heard you're a talented poet. Let me challenge you to a poem!"
Under Su Ruxue's coercion, the honest third brother-in-law Xu Mu still stepped forward and reached out to stop Qin Chuan.
