Chapter 17: Tribesmen

The girls wanted to train Erlang, but they didn't dare to let him rush to the front to kill the enemy. Besides, with him here, the guards would probably have to pay attention to protecting his safety.

Chang Ying had no choice but to coax and lie, "Erlang Jun, take five guards with you and go back to clear the zombies along the way, is it possible?" In fact, there were guards clearing this section of the road, and it had become very safe, otherwise Chang Ying would not dare to let him go back alone.

Wei Lang didn't know this. When he heard that he could kill monsters, he became happy again. He immediately obediently took his five guards and walked back along the street.

Chang Ying finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Now that most of the zombies have been lured out, the dock has suddenly become much emptier and seems a bit lifeless.

The streets were in a mess, with scattered items and bloodstains everywhere. Even the bluestone pavement was stained red with blood.

There are many shops on both sides of the main road from the entrance of the fort to the ancestral hall. You can imagine how prosperous the Wei family fort was in the past.

Wei Lang carried the long tasseled spear given to him by his sister and walked around looking for monsters, but unfortunately he didn't see any after walking for a long time.

Wei Lang's face was full of disappointment. Just as he was about to go back and complain to his sister, a few people suddenly jumped out in front of him and stopped him as soon as they saw him.

The young man in the lead looked confused. The boy in front of them looked familiar, but they didn't know him.

The young man politely asked, "May I ask who you are, sir? Why are you here in the Wei family's fortress?"

Wei Lang was stunned for a moment, then he asked angrily, "This is my home, who are you?"

The young man was a little confused.

An older soldier beside him, seeing the young man's resemblance to the clan leader and the guards behind him wearing soldier uniforms, suddenly understood and asked, "Is he the Second Young Master of the eldest house?"

Seeing Wei Lang nod, the young man and others immediately looked surprised.

"It's Erlang. I'm your cousin Wei Li."

Without waiting for his reaction, Wei Li grabbed him and said, "Come on, I'll take you to see the clan leader. He will be very happy to see you."

When Wei Lang heard that his grandfather had been found, he was instantly overwhelmed with great joy. He didn't care who the person in front of him was and followed them with a grin on his face.

Seeing this, one of the five guards behind him immediately left the team to find the girl to report the situation.
