Chapter 102 Insect Paradise

With a "poof" sound!

The yellowish-brown object was utterly fragile and vulnerable in the face of the Vajra Umbrella and Wang Lan's immense power, and it exploded instantly.

A large pool of thick, yellow liquid also gushed out.

Sun Muchen gasped sharply, and then blue light swirled between his fingers, creating a blue barrier in front of Wang Lan and himself. The sticky liquid sprayed onto this barrier.

Wang Lan felt that the slime had a nauseating stench. Although the barrier could block the slime from spraying out, it could not stop the stench from hitting her nose.

He immediately frowned and looked at the barrier, only to find that it was now covered with countless tiny insects. The yellow liquid was thick and sticky, and the insects could only slide down helplessly as they scrambled along with their legs.

"It's a cockroach!"

Sun Muchen shouted at this moment.

The moment Wang Lan made her move, Sun Muchen recognized what the yellowish-brown thing was.

It was an enormous cockroach.

Sun Muchen also saw records about cockroaches in the book.

One sentence in particular left a deep impression on him.

When you see one cockroach on the surface, it means there are already countless cockroaches inside!

I remember that article specifically noted that if you encounter cockroaches, you must remember to burn them with fire, not kill them!

Because inside the belly of a large cockroach, countless small cockroaches are being bred!

So when Wang Lan made his move, Sun Muchen hurriedly tried to stop him, but it was too late.

So Sun Muchen saw that the moment the giant cockroach was smashed by Wang Lan, a yellow, viscous liquid and countless small cockroaches burst out. Without thinking, she began to activate her skills, determined not to let these disgusting things get on her.

Just after the barrier blocked the first explosion, Sun Muchen gestured, and the blue barrier immediately extended, like a curtain wrapping around the front. The blue light pierced straight into the ground, digging up the land.

As Sun Muchen's palms closed, their wrists pressed together, and his hands opened, he swung them clockwise.

The blue barrier transformed into a transparent sphere shimmering with blue light.

Soil was located at the bottom of the sphere, while countless tiny cockroaches crawled rapidly inside.

This scene is truly distressing to watch.

Sun Muchen threw the blue orb into the distance behind him.

She was also panting, "Let's go, hurry up, brother!"

Wang Lan snapped out of his daze and grabbed Sun Muchen's hand to walk forward. He suddenly realized that the wound on his leg was actually not as painful anymore. He didn't know if it was because, as Sun Muchen had said, the vigorous exercise had increased the activity of his self-healing factors, or because he had killed the giant cockroach and activated his "bloodlust" skill.

But no matter what, this is a good thing.

Especially in this dense forest, dangers abound.

Having a healthy, intact body without injuries is more important than anything else!

Sun Muchen pulled Wang Lan forward. Along the way, there were many giant insects blocking their path. Fortunately, these insects were not dangerous. Occasionally, a few giant cockroaches would appear. Wang Lan had learned to control her strength and knock them away, but never smash them to pieces.

After all, Sun Muchen had consumed a lot of mana using her skill, so she couldn't use that attack method again.

Wang Lan once again became the main force.

He was happy to do so, partly to speed up the healing of the wound and partly to lighten the burden on Sun Muchen.

But the number of insects in the forest is increasing.

Wang Lan gradually felt like he was killing everyone in the world. In the midst of the battle, the wound on his leg had completely healed, so he should be thinking more about how to escape. However, there were just too many insects in the forest, some of which even Sun Muchen couldn't name.

The Vajra Umbrella was already covered in a variety of colors, stained with the blood of insects. The pungent stench constantly assaulted Wang Lan's nostrils. Wang Lan gritted his teeth and tried not to vomit at this moment, but suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his back, as if a huge weight had appeared on his back, causing his body to involuntarily lean back.

"ah!"

Wang Lan screamed because the pain was unbearable, as if her skin and flesh had been ripped open.

As he ran, he handed the Vajra Umbrella to Sun Muchen, then reached back to grab it. The object he touched felt icy cold, as if it were some kind of insect with a very hard shell.

Wang Lan didn't know which part of the insect she grabbed, but she suddenly pulled it off her back. A tearing pain shot through her, and Wang Lan stumbled. The insect was quite heavy. When Wang Lan put it in front of her, she found that it was a beetle with a huge, completely black shell.

Wang Lan was holding its head, and the insect had two not-so-long horns on either side of its head, but a very long horn protruded from the middle.

The six legs kept swinging, scratching Wang Lan's arm, but this minor injury was nothing to Wang Lan.

Sun Muchen glanced at it and said, "That's a giant herring!"

Wang Lan replied, "No need to keep introducing my name!"

Then he tossed the giant beetle into the air, grabbed the Vajra Umbrella, and pretended to fling it at the giant beetle.

Sun Muchen quickly said, "Wait, wait a minute!"

She was still a step too late. Before she could even utter the word "brother," Wang Lan's Vajra Umbrella struck the giant beetle with a crisp "clang." Wang Lan felt as if her hand was about to be torn apart by the impact, and she almost lost her grip on the umbrella. The giant beetle was also sent flying.
