The tree's voice faded.
Suddenly, the emerald green light within the dark clouds shone brightly, flowing downwards continuously, bathing the brother and sister in its glow.
The fatigue from traveling these past few days vanished instantly.
They also discovered that the tree's massive trunk was radiating light, full of vitality and hope.
The brother and sister turned around and looked at the oncoming tsunami.
The water wall continued to rise, reaching heights of hundreds or even thousands of meters, with an unstoppable and destructive momentum.
This was the first time the brother and sister had faced the truly magnificent and powerful forces of nature!
Their breaths seemed to freeze for a moment.
That stems from a deep-seated awe and fear of nature, making it difficult for their legs to support their body weight, forcing them to kneel down.
It's as if they are bowing down to nature.
The roar of the waves suddenly grew louder, piercing through their eardrums as if to tear them apart and penetrate their hearts.
They are trembling!
The tree is putting up a fierce resistance.
A huge, jet-black branch suddenly sprouted from the body, slanted downwards, and plunged into the sea, splashing out huge sprays of water that scattered in all directions.
Then, more branches stretched out toward the ground, taking deep root in the earth to stabilize the tree's massive trunk.
The brother and sister felt a tremor beneath their feet, and the vines carrying them continued to climb upwards.
Knowing that the two could not withstand the immense power of the tsunami, and that even its residual force was beyond their mortal bodies to contend with, the tree lifted them to a safe place.
Even so, the sudden decrease in oxygen at high altitudes still made the two feel dizzy.
The green light fell upon them, easing their pain.
Wang Lan and Sun Muchen, however, were already pale and bloodless.
A tsunami is coming!
The brother and sister only saw the black seawater suddenly crashing down on them.
With a tremendous roar and immense pressure, the power of nature poured out, shattering the tree branch stuck in the sea into pieces.
The green light emanating from the tree suddenly flickered and dimmed.
But the tsunami's power remained undiminished.
Even stronger.
It crashed violently into the tree's massive trunk.
boom!
The deafening roar instantly rendered the brother and sister deaf, and the tree's massive body was forced backward by the impact of the waves. Its body trembled violently, and the green light seemed to vanish for a moment, but then it lit up again.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The branches supporting his body behind the tree could no longer bear the weight and broke off one by one. The waves had all crashed against the tree trunk and surged upwards along the tree's body.
Under this immense and terrifying pressure, Sun Muchen's protective shield was immediately shattered. The icy temperature of the seawater reached up, and the other two felt a bone-chilling cold, trembling uncontrollably.
The seawater on both sides of the tree trunk bypassed it and flowed rapidly to the rear, converging together. The tree trembled even more violently, and the seawater gathered more and more, flowing backward along the broken mountain range that the tree had crashed into.
"snort!"
An angry voice rang out.
Countless branches suddenly extended from the tree trunk, stabbing downwards, and the tree trunk stabilized.
But the waves had not stopped. Although the sound had diminished considerably, they had already submerged most of the tree in the seawater, and the water level was still rising.
The seawater formed rivers behind the trees, rushing into the distance along the cracks between the mountains.

The power of the tsunami has finally subsided.
But the sea breeze that came on was also chilling to the bone.
Wang Lan and Sun Muchen looked at each other tremblingly.
Sun Muchen immediately unleashed his skill again, creating a barrier that enveloped the two of them.
They looked up and saw that the sky above them was gloomy, and the light emanating from the trees had completely dissipated, losing all its previous vitality.
"Are you... are you alright?"
Wang Lan looked up and shouted.
But the tree did not answer.
All Wang Lan could hear was the sound of the sea breeze and the waves crashing against the tree trunks.
Wang Lan shouted again: "Tree!"
There was still no reply.
The brother and sister looked at each other in bewilderment.
Just as Sun Muchen was about to unleash his skill to probe the tree's energy, a bright green light descended from the sky and poured down.
"I...I'm fine!"
Despite the affirmative answer, Shu's voice clearly carried an unusual weariness.
The brother and sister breathed a sigh of relief.
Sun Muchen shouted, "Tsunamis usually don't just happen in one wave. Can you still hold on?"
“No…” the tree replied, “Only one wave!”
Sun Muchen was taken aback.
The tree continued, "The power of the source pushes the seawater to form a tsunami. Although it is a powerful means of destruction, what accompanies the tsunami is the most deadly thing."
What is that?
Wang Lan asked curiously.
He only saw the seawater constantly crashing against the tree trunk. Although the waves were still quite large, compared to humans, they were insignificant compared to the tree trunk, like mere ripples on water.
"Next, it's your turn to fight!"
The tree sang, and at the same time, the emerald light he cast began to sway.
Sun Muchen sensed something amiss. Blue energy was released from his body and flowed into the seawater below.
A moment later, the blue light returned and was completely absorbed back into the body.
