The woman moved with lightning speed. The instant the man finished speaking, she flicked her fingers, and the two of them were enveloped by an invisible energy, which blocked the impact of the seawater and propelled them rapidly away into the distance.
"You," the man said to the woman after the brother and sister had walked a distance, "when did you become so aggressive in your speech?"
"Isn't it all because of you?" The woman named Lina rolled her eyes at the man. "Weren't you very forceful at the beginning? I was just going along with you."
"The sea is our territory. If foreigners come in, of course we have to question them. We just didn't expect them to be two children with special abilities."
“I also wanted to keep them here,” Lina said. “The battle against the source of the mist shouldn’t just be about us sea creatures; all the creatures on this planet should join in.”
“But their strength isn’t enough to join,” the man said, then suddenly laughed. “However, these two little guys are quite something.”
"Unusual?" Lina asked in surprise, "You're only realizing it's unusual now?"
“It’s not the kind of extraordinary you’re thinking of,” the man chuckled. “Don’t you think these two little guys’ skills, performance, and everything else are very similar to the character settings of the protagonists in the novels we’ve read before?”
"Protagonist? Main character?" Lina shook her head. "I mostly watch stories about domineering CEOs."
man:"……"
“I have a feeling,” the man said, “that we might see those two little ones again.”
"Your hunches are never right."
"Hahaha…"
The man burst into laughter, turned around, and tapped the Titan with his harpoon, making several clanging sounds.
The man said, "Wake up, you rascal! I knew you were asleep!"
"Huh? Huh?"
Titan shuddered, and gurgling bubbles immediately gushed out from all over his body.
"Let's go. Those two land kids have their own things to do, and we need to get back to ours!"
The words fell silent.
The man winked at Lina, and the two moved, a ripple appearing beneath their feet. The next moment, they were already rushing into the distance.
"Showing off your love will lead to a quick breakup."
Titan muttered a complaint, slung the anchor behind him, and with a swift movement, two cannon-shaped thrusters appeared from behind, spitting out two blue flames with a "boom," propelling him towards the man and woman.
...
…
Wang Lan and Sun Muchen were now embracing each other tightly.
Although the area created by the woman, which was impervious to seawater, was perfectly safe and watertight, the intense wind pressure caused by the high-speed movement still made the two, who were already seriously injured, extremely uncomfortable.
Sun Muchen desperately wanted to unleash her skills to resist the wind pressure, but unfortunately, she was already extremely weak. The blue energy that had just condensed between her fingers was blown away by the wind pressure.
"Stop!"
Wang Lan shouted at the top of her lungs, because Sun Muchen wouldn't be able to hear her otherwise.
He reminded Sun Muchen, "Don't waste your energy!"
Sun Muchen, nestled in his arms, slightly raised his head, glanced at Wang Lan, and nodded in response.
The next moment, the intense wind pressure knocked Sun Muchen unconscious.
Perhaps due to his physical condition, although Wang Lan shielded Sun Muchen in his arms and bore most of the wind pressure impact, and was much more seriously injured than Sun Muchen, his spirit and energy were much better than Sun Muchen's. At least he was fully conscious and had not fallen into a coma.
He listened to the whistling sound caused by the wind.
Dense bubbles kept gushing out, making a gurgling sound that was quite noisy.
I looked up.
The bubbles were now completely white.
then…
Wang Lan felt herself being lifted up.
etc!
Did you pick it up?
Wang Lan felt a sudden clarity, but he had no idea how he had fallen into a coma.
The scene seemed to shift suddenly.
Wang Lan discovered that Sun Muchen, whom she had been holding, was gone.
The blisters also disappeared.
He felt as if he had been lifted from the liquid by two cold, metallic bars.
then…
He saw a familiar face.
That is…
Sun Muchen's father!
? ? ?
Wang Lan suddenly realized.
He inexplicably felt dizzy, and then saw the images in the system.
This time, however, the perspective is no longer that of Sun Muchen's father.
But what am I this time?
Sun Muchen's father used tweezers to gently place himself to one side on a glass plate, carefully laying him out.
Lay it out?
Wang Lan felt even more bewildered.
Then he heard someone speaking.
"Teacher, this is the third experiment. What if it fails again..."
The voice sounded strangely familiar, so much so that Wang Lan couldn't help but want to investigate it further. As he thought this, his gaze actually began to shift, moving towards the direction from which the voice came.
Sun Muchen's father was taken aback. He didn't pay attention to the sudden stop of the voice, but said strangely, "Interesting. This time, the sample actually made a 'looking' gesture. Yang Qi, he's looking at you."
When Wang Lan's gaze fell on the person who made the sound, she also heard Sun Muchen's father say that name.
Yang Qi!
It was his adoptive mother.
Aunt Yang.
It seems that the scene we saw before has been repeated this time.
