Chapter 194 The Fish-Man of the Sea

That speed is far greater than that of the blackfish!

Before Sun Muchen could even see what the dark figure was, he waved his hands in front of him, and the light of magical energy shone brightly for a moment, which startled the Holy Envoy so much that he quickly turned his head away.

The blue light burst through the body and shot straight towards the dark figure.

"puff!"

When the magical energy collided with the shadow, the shadow was instantly blasted to pieces by the magic, but what followed was a series of sounds of water bursting open.

Countless dark figures leaped out of the seabed, appearing directly in front of the two, to their left and right, stretching into the far distance.

Sun Muchen quickly unleashed several streams of magical energy that crashed into the dark figure. In mid-air, bursting sounds of "poof poof poof" rang out continuously. She turned around and, out of the corner of her eye, watched as the strangely shaped sea fish died under the magic, spraying out a blood mist with a fishy smell, which was blown away by the wind and went into the distance, either landing on the two of them or returning to the sea.

Countless sea fish kept leaping towards the shore.

Sun Muchen and the Holy Envoy ran back without looking back. The Holy Envoy shouted, "Holy Soldiers, listen to my command! Spread out and extend the battle line to its maximum length. Except for Sun Muchen and me, begin indiscriminate firing at all life forms in our direction!"

As they spoke, a "whoosh" sound rang in their ears.

Their curiosity led them to look over, where they saw a long, silvery-white sea fish. Upon seeing the fish, Sun Muchen shuddered, and the image of the huge, silvery sea monster that had been crashing into the divine tree flashed through his mind. The fish in front of him was a miniature version of that monster.

"This, this fish is the most dangerous!"

Sun Muchen blurted out, wondering what kind of pressure the sea monster had put on her that made her so afraid.

After the sea fish in front of them thrashed about on the ground a few times, two slender legs suddenly burst out of its belly, breaking through the skin.

Then, these two newly grown legs actually supported the fish's entire body and made it stand up.

The envoy paused, pulled a pistol from his pocket, aimed at the fish, and pulled the trigger.

Unlike the handguns he was used to, Sun Muchen heard continuous gunshots. The bullets seemed to be shooting in a straight line towards the sea fish, and in less than three seconds, the sea fish was turned into mincemeat.

"Don't stop, run!"

The envoy beckoned to Sun Muchen, while at that moment, all the white-armored soldiers received orders and began to devise a plan.

The sound of bullets bursting from the gun barrel suddenly rang out, creating chaos, but it also caused considerable damage to the fish with two legs that kept coming ashore. Some fish were even pierced through from head to tail!

Neither Sun Muchen nor the Holy Envoy looked back. Besides the sound of bullets whizzing past, they also heard hissing and roaring sounds coming from behind them, sounds that no ordinary fish could make.

They realized with a start that something strange was rising from the sea!

Those are sea fish that have undergone mutation and evolution!

That's a sea monster!

The sound of bullets grew clearer, indicating that the two were getting closer to the white-armored soldier.

Until a bright white figure appeared before them.

Those were soldiers in white armor.

With a leap, the two landed beside the white-armored soldier.

Sun Muchen turned around and looked back.

After stopping, the envoy immediately said, "Send out remote monitoring equipment to observe the sea's movements in real time and reply promptly."

Buzz—

Buzz!

Two small aircraft immediately flew out from the chariot a few meters behind the two men.

Something's coming!

Sun Muchen narrowed his eyes and immediately spoke.

The Holy Envoy looked up and saw a black shadow rushing towards him at lightning speed, so fast that he couldn't even see what it was. Then the black shadow pounced on the white-armored soldier with a strange, sharp, and piercing roar. The Holy Envoy's body trembled violently, and Sun Muchen also felt an unbearable discomfort in his ears.

They looked at the dark figure and saw that it was a monster with a fish head and a human body, and its body was covered with a lot of scales. It was a fish-man!

The merman opened his mouth, revealing his tiny teeth, and suddenly bit off the white-armored soldier's head.

"Slap! Slap!"

The sound of electricity then rang out. At the severed neck of the white-armored soldier, Sun Muchen did not see blood gushing out, but she did see flesh and blood. However, the blood seemed to have congealed, and the skin that was faintly visible also showed a strange purple color. At the cut, the white armor on the man's body was crackling with electrical sparks.

Blue energy shot out and landed on the fishman, like a powerful hand lifting him up. Sun Muchen was thinking of getting a closer look at the fishman, but then, another dark shadow rushed over.

Knowing she had given up on the idea, Sun Muchen's eyes flashed with blue light, and the merman, who was bound by magic, instantly turned into a bloody mess mixed with bits of flesh. She then immediately erected a blue barrier in front of her.

"Bang!"

The dark figure crashed into the blue barrier, its swift movements abruptly halting. The Holy Envoy turned his head in surprise. His physical attributes were far inferior to Sun Muchen's, so he hadn't noticed the approaching dark figure until it struck the barrier. Only then did he realize with astonishment that it was yet another merman.
