King of the Rivers?
Wang Lan and Nan Chen exchanged a glance, then looked at the giant frog.
After the frog finished speaking, it looked at the two of them.
So the two strange creatures and their six eyes met.
The frog scratched its head comically, then suddenly seemed to remember something, reached behind it into its pants, pulled out an enormous hat, put it on its head, and chuckled, "How about it? Doesn't it look like the King of Rivers?"
The deep voice, when uttering these words, somehow sounded rather comical.
Nan Chen was both surprised and amazed. "You...you can actually talk?"
He had seen quite a few monsters affected by the mutation, but this was the first time he had ever seen one that could talk.
The frog was taken aback and said, "Kid, you're too naive. Have you forgotten how I introduced myself? I am the King of Rivers, the King of Rivers!"
At this point, the frog turned to look at Wang Lan and said, "Look at this child, he's just... um?"
Frog was only halfway through his sentence when he noticed Wang Lan's impatient expression.
At this moment, Wang Lan asked, "Where is this place?"
The frog was taken aback, then pointed at Wang Lan and said, "You shouldn't speak to the River King like that. I'm the one who brought you out of the Yellow Sand Territory. You should thank me and respect me. At the very least, you should say 'please'!"
Wang Lan frowned, his impatience deepening. He continued, "I don't have that much patience. Tell me, where is this, and how do I get out?"
"Hmph!" The frog curled its lip and said, "You dare to disrespect the king, so I refuse to answer your question!"
"Damn it!"
After listening to the frog speak, Wang Lan immediately swore and then charged towards the frog.
The frog saw Wang Lan charge at it without warning, as if determined to fight to the death. Before it could even react to where the boy's anger came from, Wang Lan had already reached its feet and leaped up with incredible speed, almost like taking off. In the frog's eyes, Wang Lan raised his leg, gathered his strength, and then kicked it in the chin!
"Bang!"
The frog's mouth was instantly forced shut by the kick, its upper and lower jaws colliding heavily with a dull thud. Despite its large size, the frog was still kicked off the ground by Wang Lan's kick, flying backward.
While suspended in mid-air, he even let out a comical scream.
Holy crap!
Then he fell to the ground.
Wang Lan also landed on the ground at this time.
He was furious. He had thought that by following the stream upstream in the yellow sand territory, he would have a chance to escape this unknown place. But who knew he would encounter such a bizarre monster, whose foul-smelling mouth had brought him to this strange place. To make matters worse, the monster was talking incessantly, which infuriated Wang Lan. He didn't care if you were the King of Rivers; Wang Lan would beat you up first to vent his anger.
The frog covered its chin, its eyes brimming with tears. It sat up with a thud and looked at Wang Lan with a wronged expression.
"Outrageous! You are disrespectful to the King! You child, this is outrageous! Outrageous!"
Wang Lan frowned as she looked at him and said again, "Are you going to talk or not?"
The frog was taken aback. "Huh?"
"Damn it!"
Wang Lan cursed and rushed over again.
frog:"???"
Immediately afterwards, he saw Wang Lan flash with golden light, appearing directly above him in the blink of an eye, then begin to fall freely, and then land a heavy punch on his stomach.
"!!!"
The power of this punch far exceeded that of the previous flying kick. It felt as if the fist had sunk deep into the frog's belly, causing the frog to open its mouth wide in pain and stick out its tongue.
"Will you tell me or not?"
"I???"
boom!
Another kick!
After retracting his fist, Wang Lan kicked the frog's chin again, sending it flying. The frog's massive body slid through the jungle, crashing into and breaking countless trees.
Nan Chen looked horrified.
She could tell that Wang Lan was truly angry; it was evident from his deadly attack.
As the man and the frog fought, they gradually moved further and further away. Nan Chen hurriedly chased after them, but she didn't stop them; she just followed along.
Nan Chen understood that Wang Lan was in a bad mood, and the frog had become his punching bag. If he tried to stop it, Wang Lan might take his anger out on him and accidentally hurt him.
Nan Chen has no reason to be Wang Lan's enemy, so let him fight!
"Will you tell me or not?"
"Will you tell me or not?"
"Will you tell me or not!"
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
As Wang Lan spoke, he punched the frog, his fists moving faster and faster, landing repeatedly on various parts of the frog's body, the sounds of each punch landing on flesh filling the air.
Indeed, skill breeds daring.
Nan Chen followed behind and gave another evaluation of Wang Lan.
Faced with a talking monster, Wang Lan attacked without even understanding the situation.
This courage is something Nan Chen can't match.
This courage was based on Wang Lan's overwhelming strength.
In the apocalypse, strength is indeed the most important factor.
The frog's head was swollen to twice its normal size, and its body was covered in bruises. Its tall hat had long since fallen off during the fight, but Wang Lan continued to beat it relentlessly.
He straddled the frog's face, grabbed the antennae by its mouth with both hands, and pulled hard, as if he wanted to tear the antennae off.
