Wang Lan was so engrossed in watching that he didn't realize the wind was getting stronger until he noticed Sun Muchen's hair was disheveled by the wind. He then noticed the wind was turning into a gale. Wang Lan suddenly snapped out of his reverie, looked down, and saw the grass on the ground bent over by the wind. He realized what was happening and hurriedly said, "Let's go, let's get in the car! The blast wave from the final fortress is hitting us!"
Sun Muchen snapped out of his daze, turned around, and ran into the car.
Wang Lan followed closely behind, got into the car, started the engine, and drove off.
The car sped across the plains, but the howling wind behind it carried sand and gravel even faster, constantly slapping against the car body with a crackling sound.
Wang Lan could only slam on the gas pedal, and the car's speed increased rapidly.
Wang Lan's expression was one of shock. "This reactor can actually unleash such a huge amount of energy?"
"That's the power of the sun!"
Sun Muchen said.
Then he looked back and saw that the yellow sand behind him was already filling the sky, as if it were right next to him.
Wang Lan remained silent, racing against the yellow sand behind him while enjoying the thrill of speeding.
They ran for an unknown distance, until they looked back and could no longer see any trace of the explosion.
The car coughed violently a few times.
The engine suddenly stalled.
Finally, it stopped.
Wang Lan got out of the car and asked, puzzled, "What's going on?"
“Uh… I guess we ran out of gas,” Sun Muchen said. “After all, cars need gasoline as fuel, and fuel is limited. We’ve driven quite a distance.”
"Then this car is ruined," Wang Lan said, kicking the car a few times with a sigh, still feeling unsatisfied.
“Anyway, it’s not going to be easy for us to go any further,” Sun Muchen said, pointing ahead.
In front of the two of them was a dense forest.
