Chapter Thirty-Three: The Importance of Cooperation and Communication (shuhaige.net)

Old Zhang's action surprised Wang Lan; he hadn't expected the man in front of him to have such awareness.

But Wang Lan sighed again, though he was actually quite reluctant.

The continuous battles left him feeling physically and mentally exhausted. He himself felt it was a miracle that he was still standing here. However, the strength of each hunter was not to be underestimated, and in order to integrate into such a group of hunters, one had to have enough strength to attract their attention.

In the end, he accepted the thunderbolt and glanced at Sun Muchen.

"Go ahead, brother."

Sun Muchen clenched her fist to encourage him.

Then Wang Lan looked at the fat man.

"Huh?" The fat man was taken aback, his mouth stuffed full, and he raised his fist. "Go for it, we're waiting for your good news."

Frustrated, Wang Lan snatched the bread from his hand, stuffed it into her mouth, and chewed it forcefully, only to find that the hunger in her stomach was even stronger.

So he took a deep breath and swallowed a bellyful of northwest wind.

He carried the thunderbolt on his back and charged into the battlefield with the Vajra Umbrella.

Hunters fight in a very direct way, emphasizing speed, accuracy, and ruthlessness, aiming to strike the opponent's fatal weaknesses in the fastest and most effective way.

So the hunters split into two groups: one group targeted the python's vital spot, while the other group was responsible for distracting and drawing the python's attention.

However, this python had the advantage of its large size, and its enormous body did not affect its speed at all. No matter how many attacks the hunters launched, it could easily dodge them and even retaliate in the gaps.

But it must be said that these hunters are indeed very strong. In fact, with the infectious virus spreading rapidly in the market, those who can survive under such circumstances must be truly skilled, have rich combat experience, and cooperate with each other with ease.

This caused Wang Lan to feel lost and disoriented as soon as she joined the battlefield.

He didn't know where to start, because he had never truly cooperated with anyone before, and when he appeared on the battlefield, he immediately attracted the attention of the other hunters.

"Why did that kid come over?"

Someone shouted.

"have no idea!"

The other person answered, then took several steps back with a "thump thump thump," barely dodging the danger of the python's giant tail slamming down.

"Don't let him ruin our plans! Send someone to get him!"

Wang Lan frowned upon hearing this. He was quite well-known in the safe zone, but now he was being treated like a burden. His competitive spirit surged, and after receiving the order to get lost, a hunter withdrew from the battlefield and ran towards Wang Lan.

What a great opportunity!

Wang Lan was overjoyed, because with someone leaving, he could take that person's place and rush into the battlefield.

"Kid, you..."

Thank you!

"???"

The man had barely opened his mouth when Wang Lan's "thank you" completely threw him into disarray. Then he saw Wang Lan run past him and snatch the meteor hammer from his hand. He only had time to shout, "Hey! My hammer!"

But Wang Lan had already run far away.

He stopped not far from the python, first throwing his meteor hammer, then igniting a bomb in his hand. When the meteor hammer struck the snake's head, attracting the python's attention to look in his direction, he threw the bomb.

After a brief delay, the thunder exploded with a deafening roar, bursting into intense flames. At the same time, it ignited the slime on the python's body. The burning pain caused it to let out a strange and eerie roar, and it turned and charged towards Wang Lan.

A hunter noticed him and was immediately startled, exclaiming, "Is that kid here to die?!"

"Get out of the way! Get out of the way!"

"The MD plan is completely ruined!"

Wang Lan never expected that the thunder could ignite the python. At that moment, he saw a snake's head engulfed in flames, its long tongue flicking as it charged toward him. Terrified, he quickly dodged to the side and ran away.

The python slammed into the ground, the flames burning on its head almost being extinguished by the upturned soil.

One of the hunters shouted, "Yes! Pythons are afraid of fire! We must kill it now!"

The next moment, the hunters charged at the python like fearless warriors.

But at that moment, the light illuminating the sky suddenly dimmed, and darkness swept in from all directions, threatening to block everyone's vision.

"Kid!"

The man whose meteor hammer had been stolen shouted.

Wang Lan turned his head and saw that the man had taken off his green glasses and thrown them to him.

At that moment, darkness swallowed the last ray of light in the night sky.

Wang Lan caught the glasses and put them on.

Then he was surprised to find that his vision was clear. Although the overall color scheme was green, he could see every plant and tree around him.

But when he takes off his glasses, it's pitch black again.

Wang Lan never imagined there was such a magical thing. No wonder the hunters were able to capture Old Zhang and Fatty so easily when it was pitch black earlier. It was because the darkness had no effect on them at all.

Wang Lan suddenly realized the importance of the team, or rather, the importance of cooperation and communication.

If he hadn't been a loner and had communicated more with other hunters, he might already be covered in all sorts of novel and interesting things.

But then again, these hunters are all ruthless people, and if this eternal night hadn't been so extraordinary, they might not have chosen to join forces.
