Dogs have a strong bite force to begin with, and the infection made their bite force even stronger, causing intense pain to spread throughout their bodies immediately.
Wang Lan trembled!
He clearly saw the mad dog's teeth tear through the sleeve of his coat and dig deep into his flesh, with bright red blood flowing from the gap between the mad dog's teeth and his flesh.
In an instant, Wang Lan's eyes widened in fury!
He got bitten!
I was bitten by a rabid dog that was infected!
He's going to get infected!
The image of the infected, neither human nor ghost, flashed through Wang Lan's mind. She felt her heart beating faster and faster, and her whole body was trembling uncontrollably.
The mad dog held onto Wang Lan's arm tightly, and the other animals also got up from the ground one after another, staring at him menacingly.
Old Zhang's mind went blank. He never expected this situation. How could Wang Lan, with her strength, be bitten by a mad dog so easily?
Before the Eternal Night even began, Wang Lan had already been eliminated.
Although he wanted to save Wang Lan, at least as a partner, giving him a quick death would be more dignified than being infected.
But as the animals kept getting up from the ground, he was overwhelmed and could only move around while throwing out bombs, then maneuvering to get closer to Wang Lan.
But as the number of animals increased, he found that he couldn't get close to Wang Lan at all, and was instead being driven away while he was bombing.
And the number of animals gathering around Wang Lan is increasing.
They stared at Wang Lan, their growls heavy and deep, their fangs bared, anticipating the delicious taste of flesh and bone, their tongues lolling out, waiting to savor the sweetness of blood.
Wang Lan's face was blank; all he could think about was what he would look like after being infected—ugly, disgusting, and outrageous.
It wasn't until the animals around her let out impatient growls that Wang Lan came to her senses, but it was too late.
The animals pounced on him.
The gaunt figure disappeared completely into the herd of animals…
"Wang Lan—"
Old Zhang's pupils contracted, and his mentality immediately collapsed.
Although he hadn't spent much time with Wang Lan, he deeply admired her, especially after learning that she was only nineteen years old.
So when Wang Lan's figure was buried by the animals, Old Zhang suddenly felt completely devastated. He shouted Wang Lan's name and bombarded him with angry words.
Deafening explosions rang out one after another, shrapnel pierced the animals' bodies and shattered their limbs, yet even so, the animals continued to roar furiously, as if as long as their heads were not injured, they would not be fatally harmed.
He even saw a golden retriever whose body had been completely blown away, leaving only a bloody head, yet it was still barking at him, burying its chin in the ground, and slowly approaching him.
Old Zhang: "..."
But there were only two grenades left in the bag.
Many other animals are also infected.
On the other hand, Wang Lan was right there, buried under a small mountain of animals, along with the glimmer of hope in Old Zhang's heart.
A gloomy mood descended upon him once again. Old Zhang never imagined that his life would end before the eternal night even began.
His expression was filled with despair.
But then they were surprised to find that the hill was shaking slightly, as if it was about to collapse, and low growls were coming from inside the hill.
Old Zhang suddenly felt his breathing become rapid. He took a deep breath with difficulty and suddenly realized...
Wang Lan was not eaten by animals.
Instead, they were infected!
Given his strength, if he were to become infected, the danger he would pose would be far more terrifying than all these animals combined.
The terror level is approaching that of the eagle!
Upon thinking of this, Old Zhang immediately shuddered.
But just then, a furious roar suddenly rang out from inside the "hill," as Wang Lan broke through the pressure that had been building up on him, sending all the animals flying.
At this moment, he was covered in blood and wounds, with his skin torn and flesh clearly visible.
He stood there, swaying precariously, as if he were already at the end of his rope.
Old Zhang swallowed hard, not caring whether the ray of dawn would be rekindled, and prepared to light the bomb and throw it over.
Wang Lan seemed to sense something and looked at him.
Those blood-stained eyes widened, their coldness chilling to the bone, so frightening that Old Zhang didn't dare to move.
The animals that had been thrown back then rallied and got up. The boost from the infection made them fearless, and they looked at Wang Lan, eager to try their luck.
A rabbit took the lead, its hopping body incredibly agile and fast, and in the blink of an eye it rushed to Wang Lan's side and pounced on his face.
Wang Lan reacted quickly, dodging to the side while simultaneously reaching out with her right hand to precisely grab the rabbit in mid-air. She then slammed it hard onto the ground!
Then, clench your left fist and slam it down!
The rabbit's head instantly shattered into pieces!
But this action also left Wang Lan's back door wide open, and the other animals pounced on Wang Lan's back from behind, their sharp teeth frantically gnawing at the flesh and blood on his back.
The intense pain caused Wang Lan's body to spasm and tremble, her teeth grinding together. With a push of her feet, her legs straightened, and she fell backward, tackling the animals to the ground.
The pressure from human weight caused the animals to scream and howl.
The almost barbaric fighting style made Lao Zhang's blood boil.
Wang Lan continued his movements without stopping, rolling and pressing down several times, causing the animals to scatter in all directions.
