Scattered around in a corner of the market were three or five stalls, displaying oddly shaped minerals, as well as old clothes, books, and other items.
Apart from two survivors picking through old clothes, hardly anyone visited their stall.
The fire swept past each of the stalls, its sharp gaze sweeping over every stall owner.
However, it still couldn't find the zombie it had sensed until it reached the last stall.
The stall owners had never encountered customers who didn't pick and choose anything but just looked at their products before, and they were both puzzled and suspicious.
Is this guy here to cause trouble?
Some stall owners were already secretly looking for the patrol team, ready to shout for help at any moment.
"Big Fire Bro!"
Luo Yue and Chen Yang rushed over, both of them asking it with their eyes.
Da Huo gently shook his head, but his gaze remained fixed on the stall owners.
Its eyes scanned the group of people incessantly, scrutinizing every subtle change in expression or movement, trying to find some crucial clues or hints, but once again it found nothing.
But it absolutely trusts its own senses, so there must be one of these people who is the kind it is looking for.
I just don't know what method it used to be able to evade its detection at such close range.
Chen Yang glanced around and then gave Da Huo a wink.
The fire followed him to a deserted open space not far away.
"What exactly happened?"
Chen Yang waved his hand, and a huge water sphere completely enveloped them to prevent their voices from being heard.
“There are zombies here,” Big Fire replied.
"How is that possible?"
Upon hearing this, Luo Yue abruptly covered her mouth, her face filled with disbelief.
Although most of the people in the container area are suspected of having problems, they can't possibly be zombies, right?
"My intuition is usually right, and its strength should be about the same as mine, otherwise it wouldn't have been able to hide it from you."
Da Huo's tone was quite certain, and his gaze once again locked onto the stall owners, "If nothing unexpected happens, it's one of those people."
"I believe you," Chen Yang said without hesitation.
They indeed have difficulty distinguishing between high-level zombies and humans with the naked eye, unless they engage in combat.
However, as a zombie, Da Huo has a natural advantage in distinguishing between humans and zombies.
"But which one could it be?"
Upon hearing Chen Yang's words, Luo Yue no longer doubted Da Huo's judgment and turned to look at the stall owners.
In her view, these people were all perfectly normal human beings.
Chen Yang flipped his right hand upwards, and five three-inch-long water blades spun rapidly on his fingertips.
"You'll know once you try it."
As soon as he finished speaking, the water sphere enveloping them burst open with a bang, rapidly shrinking back into Chen Yang's body as a water-based supernatural power.
At the same time, a cold glint flashed in Chen Yang's eyes, and he suddenly swung his right arm outward with great force.
In an instant, the water blades, accompanied by a sharp and piercing sound, sped toward the stall owners at an astonishing speed.
The sudden turn of events left the stall owners wide-eyed in terror, scattering in all directions while screaming, "Ah, help!!!"
However, the water blades were too fast, and in the blink of an eye they were already close to them.
Just as the water blades were about to pierce their bodies, one of the bald stall owners suddenly dodged to the side with lightning speed.
"That's it!"
Da Huo's expression hardened, and a flame shot out from his hand, heading straight for the bald stall owner.
Meanwhile, the water blades that had been attacking other stall owners suddenly turned at the last moment and attacked the bald stall owner from behind.
Caught between a rock and a hard place, the bald stall owner's eyes flashed with anger before he quickly dropped to the ground and rolled away.
He quickly stood up, clenched his fists, and slammed them forward with a rich, earthy-yellow light.
The three forces collided in mid-air.
'boom--'
A deafening roar was heard, and a terrifying shockwave surged forth with overwhelming force.
'Buzz—'
The hard ground hummed under the impact of this energy, and cracks spread rapidly from the center of the impact outwards.
The surrounding stalls were instantly blasted into countless tiny fragments by the violent shockwave, which flew everywhere.
The once bustling and lively streets were instantly turned into a mess.
Many survivors who were secretly watching the commotion from a distance were also innocently implicated and fell to the ground, groaning in pain.
Fortunately, the patrol team heard the commotion and arrived in time.
The crowd was evacuated immediately, and the injured survivors were rescued.
"Miss Luo, Chen Yang, what's going on?"
The patrol team leader quickly arrived at Luo Yue's side with his men, his eyes warily fixed on the panting bald stall owner.
Luo Yue lowered her voice, "He's a zombie!"
"What!"
The patrolmen could hardly believe their ears.
"Let's take it first!"
Chen Yang flipped his hand, and water-based alien energy burst forth, from which a giant water crocodile pounced and attacked the bald man who was running the stall.
"superior!"
With a wave of his hand, the patrol captain sent his men out in single file, launching an attack on the bald stall owner.
Luo Yue and Da Huo also took action.
The bald stall owner, outnumbered and outmatched, and whose strength was comparable to Da Huo's, was quickly defeated by the combined attack of three level-six individuals and a group of level-five ability users.
'Roar!!!'
