The slender creature slowly turned its head toward Jiang Nian'an.
Although it had no eyes, Jiang Nian'an felt a fierce and sinister gaze fall upon her.
'hiss'
The slender creature puffed out its cheeks, kicked hard against the woman's face with its hind legs, and pounced on Jiang Nian'an.
Shen Nanxing quickly raised his hand and threw a bolt of lightning at the slender monster.
The slender creature was hit and fell to the ground with a 'thud,' becoming still.
"He died already? He wasn't that amazing~"
Yunfan took a step forward, holding an ice pillar in his hand, and poked hard at the slender creature's scales.
It cannot be pressed at all.
"Don't let its small size fool you, this ugly thing has incredibly tough scales on its body!"
Yunfan turned around and sighed to the three of them.

Just then, the slender creature, which was thought to be dead, suddenly raised its head, opened its mouth, and spat out a mouthful of foul-smelling saliva at Yun Fan.
"Third Brother, be careful!"
Jiang Nian'an instantly wrapped the vines around Yun Fan's waist and pulled him back sharply.
Yunfan barely brushed past the foul-smelling saliva.
The foul-smelling saliva fell to the ground, hissing as a puff of white smoke rose from it.
"You ugly thing, how can you be so uncivilized? Pretending to be dead is one thing, but you even spit on me!"
Yunfan hurled the icicle in his hand, intending to pin the slender creature to the ground.
Although the slender creature has short limbs, it moves extremely fast.
As he dodged away, he spat several mouthfuls of foul-smelling saliva at the group.
While the others were dodging, it leaped up again, mouth agape, and charged straight at Jiang Nian'an.
Jiang Nian'an deftly bent over to dodge the attack from the slender creature.
He then quickly got up, turned to the side, and lashed it with his whip.
The slender creature was whipped and tumbled several times in the air before finally hanging straight down on the wall with a thud.
Jiang Nian'an didn't give it time to react, controlling the vines to pierce its head directly.
When retracting the vines, the crystal nucleus from the slender creature's brain was also brought out.
"This time he's definitely really dead!"
Jiang Nian'an, with a hint of smugness on her face, held the crystal core and waved it at Shen Nanxing and the other two.
Just as Shen Nanxing was about to reply, there was a rustling sound from the bushes not far away.
His expression changed. "Let's get out of here first!"

The group quickly got into the car.
As soon as I started the car, those slender creatures that had left earlier darted out of the grass.
Some rushed straight for Sun Sheng and his companion's bodies, while others chased after the car.
Shen Nanxing remained calm, floored the accelerator, and the car sped off.
The slender creatures relentlessly pursued them.
"They're so fast, they're catching up!"
As the slender monster drew ever closer to their vehicle, Lin Ling gasped in alarm.
Jiang Nian'an glanced behind her.
There were thousands of them, densely packed together.
She frowned slightly, thinking of the slender creature that had been attacking her the whole time.
These ugly things are most likely after the dragon aura emanating from her.
"Brother Chen, drive carefully, I'll handle them!"
Jiang Nian'an turned her head and said something to Shen Nanxing, then reached out her right hand out of the car window, flipped herself upside down on the roof, and used the momentum to suspend her upper body outside the car.
Upon seeing Jiang Nian'an, the slender creatures immediately became incredibly energetic, chasing after her at an even faster pace.
Not only did he chase after her, but he also spat foul-smelling saliva at her repeatedly.
Jiang Nian'an rolled her eyes. "Being ugly is one thing, but your mouths smell so bad too. Let me wash your mouths and disinfect them!"
The vines in her palm, carrying a bucket of alcohol, grew rapidly and soon reached above the slender creatures.
Like rain, the alcohol was poured over the slender creatures.
"Brother Chen!"
Jiang Nian'an turned around and called out to Shen Nanxing.
No sooner had he finished speaking than lightning struck from behind.
With a loud 'boom,' the slender creatures burst into flames.
'Hiss hiss hiss'
The slender creatures, afraid of fire, panicked instantly.
Like headless flies, they darted around aimlessly, no longer chasing their car.
Jiang Nian'an then sat back down and turned to ask Lin Ling, "Where is the base?"
Lin Ling was taken aback at first, then asked with a look of surprise, "Are you going to the base too?"
"Mm." Jiang Nian'an nodded.
Lin Ling quickly pulled out a map of Tan City from her pocket and pointed to a spot for Jiang Nian'an, saying, "It's right here."
The complex routes on the map made Jiang Nian'an dizzy.
"Excuse me, may I borrow this?"
An, a player with no sense of direction, simply showed the map to Shen Nanxing.
Shen Nanxing took the map and drove the car to the nearby bus stop.
He glanced at the bus stop sign to confirm their location before looking down at the base's location.
He then returned the map to Lin Ling.
"You know which way to go?"
Jiang Nian'an was stunned. This was too fast! A humanoid navigator?
“Yes,” Shen Nanxing nodded, “I’ve been to Tan City before, and I happened to have been to the place where the base is now, so I roughly remember the way.”
Shen Nanxing started the car, drove straight to the street, then turned the steering wheel and drove onto another street.
"Miss, does the Tan City base accept orphans?"
Halfway there, Yunfan asked Lin Ling a question.
"An orphan? Who? Him?"
Lin Ling's gaze fell on Xiao Liangzhou.
Yunfan nodded. "Mm."
Upon hearing this, Lin Ling glanced at Xiao Liangzhou again; he was silently shedding tears.
She had thought the child was with the four people in front of her, but it turned out they weren't.
