After a sizzling sound, a bird emitting black smoke fell to the ground with a scream.
The roasted bird smelled delicious, attracting many mutated insects and birds from the surrounding area.

'Squeak'
Its ears stood on end, its eyes were bloodshot, and it stared intently at Jiang Nian'an and his companions, greedy saliva dripping down its protruding fangs.
Jiang Nian'an stared at the withered leaf covered in dirt in the bowl, clenching her fist.
