Chapter 9 Thank you, kind person

Jiang Nian'an still didn't let him go, forcefully pulling up his collar from behind and tightly choking his neck.

The middle-aged man's breathing immediately became rapid, and his chubby face turned bright red.

Just as she was about to hurl insults, Jiang Nian'an pulled a folding knife from her pocket for self-defense.

The cold blade pressed against the middle-aged man's neck, and he was instantly terrified, breaking out in a cold sweat and pursing his lips.

The survivors around were also frightened by Jiang Nian'an's actions, and for a moment no one dared to make a sound.

Jiang Nian'an dragged him along until they reached the broken window.

Then he grabbed him by the collar, pulled him up, pointed outside, and said, "Open your eyes wide and take a good look. Did my actions just now attract zombies?"

The middle-aged man was terrified by Jiang Nian'an's actions and hurriedly shook his head.

"Do you still dare to curse?"

Jiang Nian'an pressed his head down and asked him coldly.

"I wouldn't dare, I wouldn't dare, little miss, I was wrong, please be magnanimous and just... just let me go like a fart!"

The middle-aged man begged for mercy with a mournful face.

Jiang Nian'an lifted his body up, his head wedged against the windowsill, and if he moved any further forward, the remaining shards of glass on the window would pierce his face.

Seeing that he had behaved, Jiang Nian'an loosened her grip and threw him to the ground. Then she turned to look at the people who had recently been taunting her.

When those people saw Jiang Nian'an turn around, they subconsciously took a step back.

Seeing that they were frightened, Jiang Nian'an didn't waste any more time. She put away the knife and walked upstairs.

The middle-aged man slumped to the ground, panting heavily, his back soaked with cold sweat in a short time.

"roar--"

Just as he was relieved, a dark blue claw suddenly reached in through the window.

It kept scratching at him from above.

"ah!!"

The middle-aged man screamed and scrambled to hide behind a pillar in the middle of the museum.

The other survivors also ran into the innermost part of the first floor.

Someone smashed the glass case protecting the cultural relics and held up those porcelain artifacts that were incredibly precious before the apocalypse but worthless afterward.

If zombies break in, they will not hesitate to throw whatever they are holding.

Jiang Nian'an ignored the commotion below.

The museum windows are high enough.

Those zombies might reach out a hand to scare them, but they definitely can't get in.

The gate is sturdy enough even when it's tightly closed.

The zombies that were slowly crawling up to the door and banging on it by stepping on their companions couldn't get in for a while.

However, the crisp sound of breaking glass just now served as a reminder to her.

The swords and knives are on the third floor.

But Jiang Nian'an went up to the second floor first and then put the collection on the second floor into her space.

Rather than being destroyed here sooner or later, it's better to stay peacefully in her space.

Perhaps one day, the disaster will end, civilization will return, and then she will let them see the light of day again.

The swords and knives are still on the third floor.

These swords and knives are not artifacts from the past, but rather gifts from other countries.

Especially the two large swords hanging on the wall, which are over a meter long, are sharp and sturdy.

The handle is also engraved with a distinctly Western pattern, which is both attractive and prevents the knife from slipping.

Jiang Nian'an walked to the two knives, put one of them into her spatial storage, and then carried the other on her back.

There were also three longswords nearby, and the collection from the third floor were all taken into Jiang Nian'an's space.

After finishing, Jiang Nian'an returned to the same window she had come from.

The bluish-gray claw was still stretching out, probing and probing.

The stone that was thrown in earlier is still there.

Jiang Nian'an picked it up again and threw it forcefully out the window.

With a loud "Duang".

The zombie fell straight down.

Jiang Nian'an seized the opportunity, braced herself against the windowsill, and quickly climbed onto the windowsill.

Just as I was about to jump out, another zombie without arms pounced out from the side.

It opened its mouth wide, about to bite Jiang Nian'an's calf.

"Oh ho!"

Jiang Nian'an exclaimed in surprise, and quickly pressed her right hand down hard on the zombie's rotting, sticky back of the head.

The zombie slammed its head against the windowsill with a thud.

Jiang Nian'an jumped down.

After landing, she jumped back two steps and took out a few disinfectant wipes.

After wiping the sticky filth off his hands, he drew the large knife from behind him and dealt with the two zombies.

After removing the crystal cores from their brains, Jiang Nian'an kindly called out to them.

"Hey, it's safe here for now. If you want to escape, hurry up, or you'll starve to death if you stay inside!"

After saying that, she picked up her broadsword and ran out of the alley, charging towards several zombies not far away.

As she fought her way to the museum entrance, she heard cries for help coming from another street not far away.

The zombies gathered in front of the museum all turned around and immediately saw Jiang Nian'an, who was attacking them.

The allure of fresh flesh and blood is deadly to them.

In an instant, the zombies turned around and pounced on Jiang Nian'an, roaring incessantly.

"roar--"

The sounds of zombies rose and fell, attracting even zombies that were a little further away.

The city center has a larger population, and therefore more mutated zombies than other areas.

The zombies, both near and far, gradually gathered together, forming a dense, dark mass as far as the eye could see.

They all walked towards her.

Jiang Nian'an, who had only wanted to test the knife to see if it worked, suddenly felt a chill run down her spine.

Without a second thought, she turned and ran.

Let alone her before she awakened her superpowers, even if she had awakened her superpowers and become a level one superpower user, she wouldn't dare to fight against thousands of zombies alone.
