Chapter 324 The Boy in the Snow

The Yun family.

"Lin Jiayun is seriously injured?"

As Yunhua listened to the scout's report, she gently tapped the table, her brows furrowed.

"Yes, and she was brought back from the direction of Jilun City. I'm afraid something happened in Jilun City."

The scout continued.

"Jilun City...isn't that where Brother Chen and An'an went?"

Yunhua's hand tightened suddenly. After a moment's thought, she said to the scout, "Go and invite my elder brother over immediately."

"yes!!"

The scout immediately turned and left.

Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

"Enter!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Yun Yi pushed open the door and entered. "Yun Hua, you were looking for me?"

"Um."

Yunhua stood up. "Brother, I need to go to Jilun City urgently, but I haven't finished the task that Brother Chen gave me."

"What mission?"

Yunyi walked to the table, looked down at the mess of documents on it, and asked him.

"The news about the Bi family and the mutated creatures came from all over the place. It was a jumbled mess of all sorts of things."

Brother Chen asked me to compile all this information, and I've only managed to organize less than a third of it.

"Okay, I'll take care of it."

Yunyi understood and accepted the task from Yunhua.

He didn't ask Yunhua what he was going to do, but patted his younger brother on the shoulder and earnestly instructed him, "Be careful in everything."

"Um!"

Yunhua nodded heavily, then hurriedly left.

On the other side, Yunfan followed the little black snake all the way away from Beijing and arrived at a deserted village nearby.

Just as the little black snake was about to lead Yunfan forward, Yunfan stopped.

He took out a small, exquisite recorder from his pocket, turned it on, and fixed it to the little black snake.

"Xiao Hei, go record everything you see, then come back to me."

Be careful, don't let anyone see you.

The little black snake blinked, nodded, and twisted its body away.

Yunfan glanced around and then walked toward an open space in the distance.

Upon closer inspection, I discovered two people lying on the ground.

Most of their bodies were covered in snow, and their exposed skin was blue and purple from the cold, but the faint rise and fall of their chests indicated that they were still alive.

He stepped forward and waved his hand, creating a gust of wind that blew the snow off them.

The two looked to be quite young, around seventeen or eighteen years old, and had many wounds on their bodies.

The energy fluctuations on his body are very weak, indicating that his strength is average.

Yunfan had no intention of saving the two unknown strangers who were on the verge of death.

Just as he was about to walk past the two, he noticed with his sharp eyes that one of the boys had a piece of paper under his back, and he could vaguely make out the character "毕" (bi).

"Um?"

Yunfan stopped and bent down to pull the paper out from under the boy.

There were more than twenty words scrawled on the paper, but they were mostly soaked and blurred by the snowmelt, making it impossible to read the content.

Only the character "毕" at the beginning and the character "林" in the middle are barely legible.

These two words are far too sensitive.

Without hesitation, Yunfan folded the paper and put it in his pocket, then bent down and picked up one boy in each hand.

The two desperately need to rekindle their relationship.

Yunfan led the two of them back to the abandoned village and randomly entered a house on the edge of the village.

Once inside, Yunfan placed the two of them on the dusty sofa, and a crystalline white light emanated from his palm.

The chill emanating from their bodies seemed to be summoned by something, and their complexions immediately became rosier.

Yunfan then found some flammable materials, dismantled a solid wood chair, and started a fire in the room.

The window was already broken, so there was no need to open it for ventilation.

After doing all this, he dragged over a chair, took off his bag and placed it next to the chair, then sat down and closed his eyes to rest.

The fire was blazing, and even with the constant influx of cold wind, the temperature inside the room continued to rise.

An hour later, the meager supernatural abilities within the two teenagers finally began to circulate, and their life force finally became stronger.

However, the person remained unconscious, lying quietly on the sofa.

Yunfan wasn't in a hurry; he took some crystal cores out of his bag to absorb.

Another hour later, there was finally movement coming from the sofa.

One of the boys slowly opened his eyes.

Upon seeing his surroundings, he was clearly startled and scrambled to his feet almost instantly.

But the next second he groaned and collapsed onto the sofa.

His wounds reopened due to his overly vigorous movements, and blood gushed out.

A strong smell of blood filled the room.

Yunfan opened his eyes, frowned, and glanced at the boy. "If you don't want to live anymore, then keep moving."

Upon hearing Yunfan's voice, the boy realized there were other people in the room and forced himself to sit up despite his aching body.

"Who are you?"

He looked at Yunfan with a wary expression.

"The ones who will save you."

Yunfan didn't waste any more words with him, and took out a piece of paper to ask him, "What's written on this?"

Upon seeing the paper, the boy's vigilance intensified; he pursed his lips and remained silent.

Yunfan wasn't annoyed. He put the papers away again, got up, walked over to the boys, and circled them twice.

The boy's gaze followed him the whole time, his heart filled with both surprise and panic, and sweat even trickled down his forehead.

He wasn't afraid of death; he was only afraid of failing to fulfill the trust placed in him by his fellow villagers.

"Are you from the Bi family?"

As the boy nervously swallowed repeatedly, Yunfan suddenly asked him a question out of the blue.

"Bullshit! I'm not from that kind of demonic family!"

The words "Bi family" seemed to have struck a nerve with the young man, who even forgot his physical pain and suddenly stood up.
