Jiu Fangyun walked out of one of the laboratories and then went into another, as if he was looking for something.
Jiang Nian'an made a decision after a moment's thought.
With Bi Zechen and her team, there were four level eight individuals, far surpassing Jiu Fangyun's strength.
Even if he really betrayed them, she could kill him on the spot.
"Walk!"
She led Xiaolongzhan and the others quickly toward the laboratory, then kicked it open with a bang.
Jiu Fangyun, who was rummaging through drawers and cabinets inside, was startled and immediately stood up, looking towards the door with a wary expression.
He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that the person standing at the door was Jiang Nian'an.
Why are you here?
He lowered his head and continued searching on the lab table.
"That's what I should be asking you: why are you here?"
Jiang Nian'an walked into the laboratory, looked at the messy lab bench, and asked him.
"Come find the antidote for Shen Nanchuan!"
Jiu Fangyun didn't even raise his head, and his tone didn't seem like he was lying.
"It was Second Young Master Shen who sent me."
After thinking for a moment, Jiu Fangyun, fearing that Jiang Nian'an might misunderstand, added another sentence.
Hearing this, Jiang Nian'an frowned slightly, "Do you know where the antidote is?"
"I don't know," Jiu Fangyun shook his head, "so we're looking for it."
"What antidote?" Bi Zechen suddenly asked.
"Bi Zechen! What are you doing here?"
Jiu Fangyun paused, then looked up sharply at Bi Zechen, who had just entered the laboratory.
Bi Zechen ignored him and just looked at Jiang Nian'an.
Jiang Nian'an briefly explained what had happened to him.
"If that's the case, perhaps you can find the antidote you're looking for there."
Bi Zechen turned and walked out, and Jiang Nian'an and the others quickly followed.
Following the passageway further in, and passing through several narrow corridors, Bi Zechen finally led them to a door with a combination lock.
"You all step back a bit."
Not knowing the password, Bi Zechen prepared to force the door open.
He gently placed his right hand on the combination lock, and black mist swirled around his hand, gradually melting the combination lock away.
There are hidden mechanisms inside.
As he spoke, Bi Zechen pushed open the door, threw in the remaining third of the combination lock, and quickly retreated to the side.
A clicking sound, like gears turning, came from inside the door.
Immediately following was a hail of arrows that embedded themselves deeply into the wall, leaving only half of the arrow fletching outside, trembling slightly.
Seeing that the rain of arrows had stopped, Xiao Liang'an couldn't contain his curiosity and wanted to get closer to take a look, but Bi Zechen stopped him, saying, "Wait a minute."
No sooner had he finished speaking than another, even more intense barrage of arrows was unleashed from inside the door.
"Wow!" Xiao Liang'an was startled and quickly took several steps back.
"Alright, you can go in now."
Bi Zechen then put down his hand and stepped inside first.
Jiang Nian'an and the others followed behind him.
Once inside, I found it was a place similar to a treasure vault, except that the place where treasures should be displayed was filled with various bottles and jars.
"The drug he was given is nothing to the Bi family, and the drugs stored here are not very useful. Perhaps there is an antidote you need."
"But there are so many small bottles here, which one is it?"
Jiu Fangyun picked up a small bottle with a note attached, but the writing was already blurred.
"Take them all first."
With a thought, Jiang Nian'an quickly erected a wooden house of the same size in the space, and then put the medicine inside, along with the shelves, inside.
"Let's go see if there's anything else useful!"
Having come this far, Jiang Nian'an had no intention of leaving just yet.
The others had no objections and walked together toward another laboratory.
Most of the labs were empty, with only a few containing beeping instruments, and nothing else.
Jiang Nian'an didn't know what those instruments were for, but she simply cut off their power and put them into her spatial storage.
After looting the last laboratory, they returned to the previous tunnel, retracing their steps.
