Ye Ling looked at Professor Liu. He was so thin that a gust of wind could blow him over. Behind his thick glasses were bloodshot eyes.
His stomach rumbled with hunger. When he saw her looking over, an awkward expression crossed his face. He tried to explain, but Ye Ling looked away at that moment.
She called over the nearby Yato and whispered to him, "Deliver the rice and flour to the canteen as soon as possible. Have the butler and two other people supervise the process and have the canteen staff start cooking now."
"yes."
After speaking, Yato quickly left.
Ye Ling then looked at the group of teachers in front of her and said, "My name is Ye Ling. I have awakened a wood-type ability, but my wood-type ability level is higher, so I can bestow some power upon this tree."
Professor Liu and the others immediately started discussing it when they heard about wood-based superpowers.
"Wood-type ability? Then why doesn't Gao Xiaohan have this ability? She's also a wood-type."
“They’re different. Miss Ye said she’s at a higher level. Gao Xiaohan has only just awakened; they can’t be compared.”
"That level must be incredibly high."
They quickly looked at Ye Ling, and one of the teachers said, "Miss Ye, what did you mean by miasma? Are we sick because of miasma?"
Ye Ling looked at Professor Liu, pointed to his brow, and said to everyone, "Look carefully."
As she finished speaking, a wisp of black energy was drawn out from between Professor Liu's eyebrows, a sight that terrified everyone, causing them to retreat in fear.
"What is this? Miasma?"
"The world has become too surreal; I still can't accept it."
Ye Ling ignored the teachers who were talking and instead said to everyone, "The animal and plant mutations you have seen are related to this black energy. After absorbing this energy, the animals and plants will mutate and become stronger."
However, this isn't spiritual energy, so they mutated into bizarre, unrecognizable forms. During their evolution, they needed to eat large quantities of food, and humans were a readily available source of sustenance.
As Ye Ling spoke, more and more students gathered around, and soon the place was completely packed.
While absorbing the miasma from Professor Liu's body, Ye Ling said, "The black aura you see now is actually a mixture of three auras: miasma, evil energy, and yin energy."
Due to its geographical location, the air quality here is worse than in other cities. This also makes the strange creatures here much more numerous than in other cities.
The residents living here are less fortunate. These odors are highly beneficial to plants and animals, but deadly to humans.
Excessive absorption can lead to skin ulcers, weakened immunity, and various diseases, most notably lung and skin conditions.
Upon hearing this, everyone gasped in shock.
"This is terrifying! They're trying to wipe us out!"
"So that's how I got my skin condition?"
"So my classmate died because of this damn miasma? Why, why are you so cruel to us?"
"So this apocalypse is targeting us humans? How are we supposed to survive?"
"Then wouldn't we all be doomed?"
