Ye Yanling and the others could tell at a glance that he wasn't telling the truth, but they didn't immediately expose his lie.
Wei Chi nodded: "That makes sense. So what do you usually eat? How do you cook?"
Old Li: "Well, you know, this place was packed with people back then. When they left, they left behind a lot of clothes, schoolbags, books and stuff, and we used those to start a fire."
As for food, we received some supplies from above before, including noodles and rice. That should be enough to keep us from starving.
Wei Chi nodded again: "Okay, you tell everyone to assemble. I need to check on everyone's condition."
Old Li hesitated: "This is not very convenient. Among the people we left behind, quite a few are sick and unable to get up. Asking them to assemble would be putting them in a difficult position."
Lin Sheng chimed in from the side, "It's alright, we can go see them."
