But they had never heard her mention it!
Night Banquet asked the little elf, "Little elf, what other creatures in this world are unknown to us? Why don't you tell us?"
The little elf quickly shook its head and suddenly disappeared in a flash.
Jiang Yin looked at the little elf who had run away and said to Ye Yanling, "My sister didn't tell us a single word. Guess if the elves have any prohibitions?"
Even Ye Yanling knew to make things difficult for the little elf.
He said to Jiang Yin, "Take it easy, don't kill them. I'm not going with you."
"Okay, I'll head over there then."
After they parted, Ye Yanling ran to the pavilion, saw Moody, strode into the pavilion and asked her, "Moody, I have something to ask you."
"What?"
Wei Chi and Wen Yanchen both looked at Ye Yanling, and Wen Mengxia also looked at him curiously.
Then Ye Yanling said, "Aren't you a wood elementalist? You've been to that mountain, so do you also know that there are all kinds of poisonous snakes in the space?"
"Poison, a poisonous snake?"
Moody instinctively resisted upon hearing those two words.
Wen Mengxia wasn't much better off, after all, the two of them had just gone through a very unpleasant experience.
Wei Chi quickly came to Moody's side, gently patted Moody's shoulder, and whispered, "It's okay, I'm here."
Moody shook his head slightly, indicating that he was fine.
Wei Chi looked at Ye Yanling: "Are there poisonous snakes in the space?"
Wen Yanchen patted Wen Mengxia's hand and then looked at Ye Yanling: "You saw it in the space?"
Seeing the two girls' reactions, Ye Yanling quickly apologized, "Sorry, sorry, I forgot you just went through the snake cave. The little elf just told me and Xiaoyin that there are many different colored snakes in those mountains."
"Moody, stop using your sensing abilities. Just be more careful next time you go into the mountains."
Moody looked up at the mountains in shock: "There are snakes there? But I didn't see any when I went into the mountains. I even talked to the plants occasionally, but they didn't tell me about this, and I didn't see any snakes either."
Ye Yanling sat down beside her: "I heard from the little elf that Lingling warned those snakes not to come out and scare the people in the space, so they must have hidden themselves when we went up the mountain."
Wen Mengxia patted her chest and breathed a sigh of relief: "So that's how it is. No wonder Lingling didn't tell us there were these things in the space."
That makes sense, though. It's a small, independent world; the kinds of creatures that should exist are definitely there, we just haven't encountered them yet.
Wei Chi only had eyes for Moody. He squatted down and looked at Moody's somewhat unnatural face, asking with concern, "Are you alright?"
Moody felt a little uncomfortable under Wei Chi's intense gaze. She nodded haphazardly, then stood up and said, "I'll still repair the chain. When Lingling needs me, I won't be a burden."
She fled in a somewhat disheveled state.
Upon returning to the space, she clearly sensed that Wei Chi's attitude towards her was somewhat different. Before, he had maintained a certain distance, and even when he cared about her, he wouldn't cross the line.
But recently, he has been appearing around her frequently, and sometimes there has even been physical contact.
He's taking the initiative!
Moody admitted that he was excellent and responsible, and that she would even feel flustered and overwhelmed when he attacked her aggressively.
