Chapter 131 The Clever Qin Miao

The woman who had witnessed everything stood up, glaring angrily at the group of beasts opposite her.

She picked up the shovel from the ground beside her, glanced at the octopus, and then walked towards the group of people.

These people understood the woman's intention and immediately pleaded, "Qin Miao, please don't do this. Everyone...everyone is just trying to survive. If you want to blame someone, blame Old Man Wang. It was him and his son who came up with this terrible idea."

"Yes, yes, it's his son. It's Wang Dahu's fault. Go find him."

Wang Dahu, who was hiding at the very back, immediately exploded, "Go to hell! What nonsense are you spouting? Didn't you guys enjoy yourselves? You didn't even spare her sick sister! Who's the bigger beast here!"

Qin Miao remained expressionless; no words could stir any emotion in her.

She only wants these people to die; none of them will escape.

As Qin Miao approached step by step, Wang Dahu shouted anxiously, "She's just a woman. If you guys want to live, you have to work together and we can definitely subdue her. Otherwise, none of us will have an easy time."

Some people thought so too, but others looked at the giant octopus behind Qin Miao and believed that she had no chance of winning.

Qin Miao didn't stop; she raised her shovel and swung it at the man in front.

The man had no choice but to instinctively dodge to the side, while simultaneously trying to snatch the shovel from Qin Miao's hand.

Before the shovel even touched him, the octopus had already trapped the man, and Qin Miao slapped him accurately, instantly splattering blood everywhere, covering Qin Miao's face and many other people.

Looking at Qin Miao now, everyone felt a deep sense of unease.

The situation is now clear: Qin Miao wants revenge, and the monsters around her will help her, so no one can escape.

However, the fear of death and the unwillingness to accept defeat still give people a glimmer of hope. For example, Wang Dahu said, "If we run together, Qin Miao won't be able to kill everyone. That monster only has eight legs, so it can't take care of everyone. Therefore, we have to scatter and run away."

Some people chose to kneel down and beg for forgiveness, saying, "Qin Miao, I have never harmed you or your sister."

"I didn't either. I even gave you steamed buns to eat."

“I know I was wrong, but I gave you the medicine and you agreed to it, so we're even.”

"......"

There were seven people kneeling down, mostly women, whom Qin Miao glanced at and then ignored.

The men who tried to run away were now being kept within a certain area by the octopus. If they tried to escape, the octopus would whip one of them away and make them behave.

The remaining Qin Miao were all executed without exception, their heads split open. Some of them were even given extra shovels as a reward.

After it was over, Qin Miao knelt down in front of the octopus and kowtowed three times.

The octopus was suddenly unable to straighten out, its tentacles curling up awkwardly.

He had been hesitant about whether to keep the woman around, since she was covered in blood and looked disgusting, but now he no longer had that thought.

Seeing that Qin Miao had already stood up, Octopus immediately rolled up and was about to go downstairs.

The women kneeling on the ground could only sob softly; their men were all dead, and they didn't know how they would survive the rest of their lives.

But are they innocent? Not at all!

Qin Miao is an engineering supervisor. During her vacation, she stayed nearby with her younger sister. Unexpectedly, they encountered zombies. She was hiding at home when these beasts found her while searching for supplies and brought her here, which is where the nightmare began.

They were subjected to inhumane treatment, and no amount of pleading could awaken their conscience.

To prevent their actions from being reported when society returns to order, Wang Dahu and his son openly and secretly arranged for all the men to bully the two sisters. The women did not stop them, but instead called them vixens.

Knowing that her younger sister had died, Qin Miao had no hope of living, but then Le Wu and the others appeared.

She was tied up and didn't see the zombie massacre downstairs, but someone liked to give a live commentary, which made her realize that perhaps her chance had come.

So he desperately ran to the edge of the building and shouted, attracting the attention of the dancers.

As expected, everything happened exactly as predicted; she got her revenge and saved herself.

Once downstairs, Octopus put her down.

Qin Miao's first instinct was to kowtow to Yue Wu, and Yue Wu did not refuse.

Because some favors need to be remembered in order to earn a little trust in return.

To be honest, Qin Miao was a little scared looking at Le Wu's companions.

Perhaps the octopus image is filtered, making it appear gentle no matter how you look at it.

Lin Mu with his white eyes, Su Su with her muscular body, and Wei Wei, who is cute and petite but can snap a zombie's neck, all made Qin Miao tremble a little when she met them for the first time, because her imagination was boundless through verbal descriptions.

Yue Wu could also see Qin Miao's fear; her trembling hands betrayed her calm exterior.

So, Yuewu took the initiative to introduce her partner and asked her about her future plans.

Qin Miao was self-aware; she didn't think she was qualified to stay by Le Wu's side. After all, she was useless and would only hold Le Wu back. So she hoped to be placed in a residential area where she could hide away.

There was no one eager to take responsibility, so Yuewu still held them in high regard.

So no specific arrangements were given, and Qin Miao was simply told to follow behind.

Leaving here, they encountered a few zombies along the way, and even if they split the loot among themselves, it wouldn't be enough.

Back on the main road, because of Qin Miao's presence, Yue Wu was unable to retrieve the van from her spatial storage.

We can only choose whichever vehicle catches our eye and requisition it on the spot.

Fortunately, Yuewu has learned how to unlock doors and start the car without a key during these days, so she can now remain calm.

Because there are more choices available, music and dance have become more discerning, and they no longer find ordinary cars appealing.
