These words struck a nerve, and Mo'an was completely enraged.
Pointing to the bracelet on her right wrist, she said to Mo Xiaole, "Do you know why I have to have this bracelet? Because from the first moment I saw it, I knew I had to have it."
Mo Xiaole's eyes flickered.
Mo An continued, "I just didn't expect that such an ugly bracelet would have such a great use in the apocalypse?"
"Space, that's the most useful thing in the apocalypse. It allows you to collect enough resources without others knowing, which is why I've been living so well in the apocalypse."
"I thought I was satisfied, but I never expected that when I met you again, you had another stone, just like the one on your bracelet."
"That's why I deliberately arranged for you to join the Sirius Squad. Only by being close to you can I more easily steal you away."
"Later, I discovered that you could always find similar stones. Such opportunities could only be mine, so I had to keep a close eye on you."
Mo Xiaole looked at Mo An's smug face, her eyes gradually turning indifferent.
Mo An continued, "Until one day I discovered that as I collected more stones, the space gradually expanded, and I myself began to have a certain sensitivity to the stones."
"I thought you were no longer of any value and was about to let you go, but you surprised me again."
"Your special blood can actually make my fruit trees bear supernatural fruits. That's really a wonderful thing!"
"Instead of waiting for the team to distribute high-level crystal cores, I can improve my abilities simply by eating enough ability fruits, and the energy of ability fruits is purer."
"So you're basically a mobile blood bank, allowing me to improve my abilities even faster. How could I possibly let you go? Hahaha..."
Mo An stood up, laughing heartily, as if he were praising his own great achievements.
Mo Xiaole had lost patience to listen to her anymore, so she shifted her body and tried to find a comfortable position to sleep.
Mo An stopped laughing, looked down at Mo Xiaole, and twitched his lips after realizing her intention.
But Mo An quickly changed her mindset and became happy again, with joy leaping from the corners of her eyes and brows.
"Oh, right, I remember a little girl, I think her name was Yue?"
Upon hearing this name, Mo Xiaole immediately looked at Mo An with alertness.
Mo An noticed Mo Xiaole's reaction and became even more excited, laughing as he said, "Back then, when I told you that Qin Dao killed her, you actually went to seek revenge on Qin Dao."
"Actually, I lied to Yue, saying that you were seriously injured and needed medicine, and that only that beast Qin Dao had it. She actually went to get the medicine for you right away, and then she never came back."
"Haha, who told her to always go against me and make you have to be wary of me? She's so annoying."
The chains made a sliding sound, and Mo Xiaole clenched her fists.
Mo An didn't care and continued, "And Xu Hua, just because I took your stone, he dared to scold me and tell me to behave myself. He even told the others in the team to be careful, and that if I targeted you again, he would kick me out."
"Hmph, how could I possibly give him the chance to kick me out? So I leaked the team's plan to another enemy team, gave them some supplies afterward, and they were easily put to my use. Then Xu Hua was gone."
Mo Xiaole simply couldn't understand what the woman in front of her was made of, since Xu Hua had gotten into trouble to save her.
The smug, gloating voices continued, "And his brother Xu Lin, who discovered I was secretly drawing your blood and wanted to report me, well then I'll make him die in the mouth of a zombie."
"Oh, and that little boy who gave you the stone, I only need one power fruit to have someone else take care of him."
"Let me think, who else? Ah, I remember now, there's that slow-developing little wolf, named Xiao Guai. It secretly brought you meat, it was such an eyesore. Later, it even dared to fight with Xiao Ke, so I stewed it. I think you ate quite a lot that night, didn't the meat smell delicious?"
At this point, Mo Xiaole, who was in a state of collapse, began to gag and vomit violently. She hadn't eaten much to begin with, and now she felt like she wanted to vomit her intestines out.
Seeing Mo Xiaole's reaction, Mo An went completely mad, his demonic laughter filling the entire room.
After a while, perhaps having laughed enough, she leaned down and asked Mo Xiaole, "So don't you think you're a nemesis? All the people or wolves around you who want to be good to you end up dying a terrible death."
Mo Xiaole's eyes were bloodshot with rage. Only now did she realize that everything had been designed by Mo An.
Mo An stared directly into Mo Xiaole's bloodshot eyes, a smirk playing on his lips. "Don't think you're so innocent. If those people hadn't meddled, they wouldn't have died. So, you're the one who killed them!"
"Ah~" Heart-wrenching roars echoed in the darkness.
Watching Mo Xiaole's extreme anger yet powerless to control her own destiny, struggling desperately but helplessly.
Mo An couldn't help but feel happy. He slowly stood up, straightened his clothes, and began to quietly appreciate Mo Xiaole's painful moment.
When Xiao Le was almost out of strength, she could only let out faint sobs.
Mo An squatted down in front of Mo Xiaole again and asked, "I've always wondered why those stones have light spots appearing around you."
"So what special use does the stone have for you? If you tell me, I'll plead for you and let you go."
Mo Xiaole spat and, with her last breath, hoarsely roared, "Get out! I won't tell you, and you'll never know!"
Mo An frowned, wiping the drool off his face in disgust, but quickly laughed. "I was just curious. Actually, it's not that important to me now, since you're the one I defeated."
After saying that, he left humming a song...
P.S.: My darlings, if you've made it this far, thank you so much. This is my first attempt at writing a full-length novel, and it has many shortcomings, so I'm especially grateful for your understanding.
The story is long, and I'm very happy with it. I hope you enjoy it. Please leave comments; I'll read them carefully. If you think this novel is good, could you add it to your bookshelf? This might seem a bit abrupt, so I hope you'll understand. Thank you all!
