Chapter 39 Suddenly There Was a Baby

In her dream, a doll kept calling "Mommy," which Yuewu found strange because she couldn't see what the doll looked like.

There was only a blurry figure, so she didn't dare to act rashly. She just wanted to ask the baby where his mother was so she could help him find her.

The child pointed at himself and called out "Mommy".

Le Wu woke up in fright, feeling that she had been too reckless. She didn't even have a father yet, and she already had a baby. How terrifying!

Just as Le Wu was about to get out of bed to wash up, she suddenly heard a familiar voice. Her movements stopped at the moment she was about to lift the blanket. Listening carefully, she heard the word "Mom" even more clearly.

"Ahhh, don't come any closer! You...you, are you a human or a ghost?" Le Wu returned to the bed, her eyes darting around.

"Mommy, don't be afraid of the mud, I can handle the mud," the voice was clearly anxious and even a little tearful.

Yuewu sensed that the other person didn't intend to hurt her, and the childlike voice was rather cute, so she gradually lowered her guard.

"Mother"

Another voice came, sounding like a question or a confirmation.

Yuewu suddenly remembered that she had also heard this voice in her dream and even saw the doll's phantom image, so was it the same one?

Thinking of music and dance, she asked, "Who are you? Are you the one in my dreams?"

"Four Virtues Duck, Mommy, my little Four Babies!" The baby was very happy to know that its mother had recognized it.

Yuewu still looked puzzled. "Where are you?"

"Baby is in Mommy's heart~" The baby's proud little voice rang out.

Le Wu felt a little helpless, unsure how to communicate with her child, and struggling to accept the fact that she had unexpectedly become a mother.

The baby sensed the sudden silence from the music and dance and quickly called out, "Mommy, come in, Mommy, come in, see the baby."

At this moment, Yuewu realized something, and immediately entered the space with a thought.

The scene that greeted the audience deeply moved Yuewu; in the distance, lush greenery stretched out, with flowers and plants swaying in the wind.

There was also a spring nearby, its water tinkling melodiously, and tiny lights twinkling in the sky.

Behind him was a water curtain wall, which at this moment looked like a large storage cabinet. Through the thin layer of water, he could clearly see that it contained all the supplies he had stockpiled.

Yuewu felt the gentle breeze on her face and the faint fragrance of earth on her nose. Being in such a beautiful environment, one could truly be captivated.

"Mommy, mud porridge?" the child asked tentatively.

Without thinking, Yuewu replied, "I like it!"

The baby laughed happily, "Giggle, Mommy loves baby, Mommy loves baby!"

Hearing the little baby's laughter, Yue Wu was also infected by it, and her mood became incredibly joyful and relaxed.

No one knew how anxious Yuewu was, arriving in this unfamiliar environment, facing the impending apocalypse, and having to count down the days.

Because there were many things to prepare, Yuewu had to force herself to shift her focus, try to integrate into the environment, overcome her fear of the unknown, and strive to become stronger, giving herself time and opportunities to grow.

Just like life, there are no born strong people.

Everyone grows and becomes stronger only after experiencing countless challenges, setbacks, and trials.

Life's journey is full of ups and downs and uncertainties. We shape ourselves through these experiences, becoming more resilient, wise, and powerful.

As the music and dance were still immersed in the beautiful atmosphere, a faint sobbing sound suddenly reached their ears.

Yuewu recognized the baby crying and immediately asked with concern, "Why are you crying?"

The little baby sniffed, "Mommy, I've been looking for mud for so long, boohoo..."

Hearing that sweet, childlike voice filled with sadness, Yuewu's heart softened. "I'm sorry, I'm late."

It's not hard to understand; the little guy and the space are one.

In the previous life, the space was controlled by Mo An, and he didn't know if the little baby was harmed. But the fact that he still accompanied Mo Xiaole to find him later shows that he had really waited a long time.

Hearing her mother's apology, the little child felt even more distressed, and tears streamed down her face as her fading silhouette slowly materialized.

Yuewu carefully observed the little guy, who looked like a human child of two or three years old.

A chubby face, with big eyes under curved eyebrows, glistening with tears. Her small nose is a little red from crying, her lips are slightly pouting, and she has a round double chin that twitches from time to time. Her chubby little hands are clasped together, with ten short and thick fingers, making her very cute.

Suddenly, Yuewu thought that having a child like that wouldn't be bad. At least he'd be pleasing to the eye and probably fun to play with.
