After leaving the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yue Wu planned to visit the nearby flower and bird market.
Just then, Xiao Yi suddenly spoke up, "Mommy, I can feel it, there's a ball here."
Upon hearing this, Yue Wu immediately perked up.
The flower and bird market has five floors. The first floor mainly sells antiques, calligraphy and paintings, and jade ornaments.
After the music and dance performance, Xiao Yi said it wasn't what she expected.
Upon reaching the second floor, I found various pet shops selling cats, dogs, hamsters, rabbits, parrots, mynahs, and more, but I still found nothing of interest.
Continuing upstairs, there were flowers and plants everywhere, especially when passing by the flower shop, the fragrance was intoxicating. Yuewu and Xiaoyi searched more meticulously, but still couldn't find it.
Then we arrived at the fourth floor, which felt like entering a dreamlike place.
Everywhere you look, there are stunning glass tanks, exquisite decorations, and dazzling lights. Groups of fish of different species, shapes, and sizes swim around. Every shop is beautifully decorated, making it hard to look away.
Xiao Yi was equally shocked, repeatedly exclaiming "Wow! Wow!"
Both Yuewu and Xiaoyi had a different feeling when they passed by a fish tank placed on the ground.
Out of the corner of her eye, Yuewu saw an octopus following her from one side of the fish tank to the other.
So she stopped and came back, and the octopus also came back with its two tentacles, completely imitating the music and dance.
This amused Lewu, and at the same time, Xiaoyi confirmed that the meteorite was inside the octopus.
The rest was simple: Yuewu bought the octopus and its tank, and carried it back to the car.
When Yuewu asked Xiaoyi how to make the octopus spit out the meteorite, Xiaoyi replied without hesitation, "Mom, fish can be eaten."
Le Wu slapped her forehead. "That's right! Octopuses are edible, so it'll be easy to find meteorites."
As soon as Yuewu finished speaking, the octopus began to contort its body in various ways, as if it had been poisoned.
Yuewu also noticed its strangeness. Before she could figure out what was going on, the octopus twitched and left its original spot, leaving a meteorite lying quietly at the bottom of the fish tank.
Yuewu was shocked; this octopus could actually understand human speech!
Adding to his previous imitation of human walking, he's practically become a spirit; he could easily be sent for dissection and research.
Yuewu retrieved the meteorite fragments and placed them into her spatial storage. Then she tried asking the octopus, "If you can understand human speech, raise your hand."
The octopus lay down, its eight tentacles standing upright, swam around in a flamboyant manner.
After a moment of silence, Yuewu, though certain that the octopus could understand human language, didn't know why she didn't want to talk to it anymore.
After stopping her attention, Yuewu returned to the night market to retrieve the food she had ordered.
When the food in the car disappeared in an instant, the octopus clung tightly to the tank wall, looking incredulously at the empty car and then at Lewu sitting in the driver's seat next to it.
Le Wu fastened her seatbelt and immediately ran towards the north of the city. She had just received a message that the agricultural machinery had arrived.
So, the dance party started with the first high-speed race in a Wuling minivan, which was surprisingly exciting.
Upon arriving at the parking lot, Yuewu took out five cups of milk tea from the car and gave them to the driver. After signing the papers, they left.
It was getting dark, and since few people usually come here, Yuewu waited a while before putting all the machines into her storage space and driving back to the hotel.
Unbeknownst to her, a tall and slender figure stood on a hillside not far away. If Yuewu were to approach, she would surely recognize him.
Back at the hotel, Yuewu took out a meteorite and dripped blood on it to open a spatial dimension.
While waiting, Yuewu went to take a shower and have a meal, and also packed her things in the hotel, since she was checking out the next day.
This time it took a bit longer. Yuewu originally thought that it would be quick to complete with just a small stone, but unexpectedly, the spatial fusion did not end until she fell asleep.
The next morning, Le Wu didn't open her eyes until 8 o'clock, followed by Xiao Yi's familiar "Good morning".
Le Wu got up, put her packed belongings into her spatial storage, washed up, checked out of the hotel, and left.
Of course, they didn't forget the octopus, and followed the music and dance into the tunnel.
