Chapter 1 Warning Information

Chapter 1 Warning Information

-After three minutes, everyone around you will turn into zombies.

Xuanyunduo's first reaction to receiving this text message was to sneer. This is a recent hot topic on the Internet, and many doomsday-related bloggers have played this series of scripts. She immediately replied: Are you Jiajia? Or Yaoyao? Are you kidding me? Today is not April 1st.

As soon as the message was sent, the light above her head flashed, which made her heart skip a beat.

My colleague Sister Liu couldn't help but look up and said, "Hey, that's strange. How long has it been since our K City last had a power outage? What's going on?"

Xuanyunduo is an intern at an Internet company. She is 22 years old and working overtime is a common occurrence for her. It is now six o'clock in the evening. It gets dark early in early winter. It is completely dark outside and it seems that it is going to rain. The branches outside the window are swaying and dim.

Like a shadow monster in a dark fairy tale, with bared fangs and claws, it wants to drag people into the abyss.

Xuanyunduo was considered to be quite brave, but when Sister Liu from the next workstation turned her head to look at her, her pale face and stiff pupils still scared her. She looked down and found that the edges of Sister Liu's nails were also beginning to turn blue.

Sister Liu seemed to find it strange that Xuanyun was in a daze, so she moved closer and asked with concern: "Duoduo? Why are you in a daze? Be careful that the director will scold you again."

The stench that hit her nose almost made Xuanyunduo vomit, and she stood up suddenly.

Other colleagues in the office also looked up at her, and no one knew what was wrong with her.

Xuanyunduo swallowed nervously and began to pack up to leave. "I'm not feeling well. I'm going back first. Sister Liu, please ask the director for leave for me."

After saying that, she grabbed her bag and walked out, and she did not look very well.

Sister Liu behind him still looked confused and asked curiously, "Why do you suddenly feel unwell? Young people these days are so spoiled. I was bitten by a dog yesterday, but I still came to work after getting the rabies vaccine. Hey, you better be careful that the director will be angry and fire you!"

When Xuanyunduo heard the last sentence, he was already at the office door. "Just fire me! I quit!"

Her heart was beating fast.

After leaving the company, she checked the message on her mobile phone. Two minutes had passed since she received the message. Fortunately, the location of this company was not high and was on the third floor. After thinking for a moment, she quickly walked down the stairs.

Don't take the elevator when the circuit is unstable, otherwise you will be trapped in the elevator.

He was turned into canned meat.

Xuanyunduo almost ran all the way downstairs. As soon as he reached the bottom of the company building, he heard a sharp scream from above. The passers-by around him couldn't help but exclaim and looked upstairs.

"Fuck, you scared me!"

"What's wrong? Is it because of too much work pressure that you want to jump off the building again?"

"Oh, it's so scary, go away!"

Xuanyunduo's hands were shaking when she heard the screams. She looked at her phone and it was exactly three minutes. She didn't dare to look up and just swiped her card to leave the software park.

After leaving the office building area, I scanned the code and rode home, not daring to stay any longer.

She no longer dared to take public transportation.

There were no new text messages on the phone and the signal was intermittent.

Xuanyunduo wanted to send messages to her friends to remind them of their safety, but she couldn't send a single message. She knew that something was really wrong in this world.

The storm is coming.

She rode her bike very fast, and fortunately everyone on the road was normal.

Twenty minutes later, she successfully arrived at the community and felt relieved. She was not idle then. Before going upstairs, she went into the largest supermarket at the entrance of the community, casually dragged a shopping cart and started shopping.

Milk, bread, instant noodles, chocolate, and various sweet and high-calorie beverages.

Xuanyunduo's brain was still confused at this moment, and her nerves were highly tense. She made all her decisions subconsciously, and her actions were guided by the instinct for survival.

After she filled a large cart, Aunt Wang, a supermarket clerk next to her, suddenly asked with concern: "Girl? What's wrong? You don't look very well! Are you in a bad mood? Why didn't you work overtime today?"

Xuanyunduo often comes here to buy things after get off work in the evening, so the staff in this supermarket are quite familiar with her.

"Ah, well, I'm in a bad mood, so I'm planning on having a big meal."

Xuanyunduo seemed to be awakened, and said to the tally clerk with a forced smile, "By the way, don't you provide delivery services here? Can you help me deliver ten boxes of mineral water? Just deliver them to the 8th floor of Building A and put them in the elevator."

The tally clerk said of course it was okay, but he was surprised: "Why would a little girl like you buy so much mineral water? How long will it take?"

Xuanyiduo was stuffing various canned meats into his shopping cart, and replied: "I'm too lazy to keep buying. I was fired from the company today. I will be busy looking for a job starting tomorrow. I won't have time to come here to buy."

After hearing this, the tally aunt sighed and said, "Young people nowadays are under so much pressure. OK, OK, OK, I'll give you a bill later and you come over to pay. How can a young girl keep eating these junk foods? You can't overeat even if you're in a bad mood. It will hurt your stomach so much."

Xuanyunduo felt a pang of sadness when she heard these caring words. She was adopted. After the old couple who adopted her passed away, their home was demolished. She had just moved here for less than a year, and it was really heartbreaking to be cared for by strangers all of a sudden.

She opened her mouth again and again, but still couldn't tell the other party about the zombies.

After all, she didn't have enough evidence to prove that the end of the world and zombies were really coming.

So she silently followed the sorting aunt to pay the bill. The aunt was kind enough to help her pack her things and even walked her all the way to the elevator.

Xuanyunduo went upstairs with the emergency supplies and ten boxes of mineral water she had purchased. Before the elevator closed, she could still hear the security guard chatting with the tally clerk.

"Hey, Sister Wang is delivering goods again? Why did this little girl buy so many things?"

"Well, I'm in a bad mood because I got fired. I have to start looking for a job tomorrow. I'm too lazy to keep buying mineral water. Young people like to buy things when they are under pressure. They are not like us, the older generation who have lived through poverty."

“Hahahaha that’s right.”

No more words could be heard after that. Xuanyunduo reached the 8th floor and quickly moved her things out. Then she turned off the elevator and moved her things back to her room. Only when she returned to the familiar place did she feel at ease.

She collapsed on the sofa, the light above dazzling her eyes. She could only close her eyes to calm her mind and take a breath. She would sort out the supplies piled at the door later. But when she closed her eyes, she felt something was wrong.

It was like a sudden hallucination. She could see a Rubik's Cube with her eyes closed. This Rubik's Cube had a huge number of faces, with countless faces densely packed together.

Running at high speed.

Xuanyunduo started to dry heave with a groan, and was almost dizzy.
