Chapter 84 Rescue
We're already on the fourth floor.
The laboratory building has only five floors.
And it's the only one of all the floors without an elevator.
Once they reached the top floor, Ji Zai breathed a sigh of relief. One of the staircases on either side of the experimental building had already been explored, and now only the other side remained.

"Thirteen."
"I have eight here."

The fifth floor has been checked.
Next is the fourth floor.
Ji Zai opened a door, the one where the zombies were roaming. The lock was pried open, but before she could even push the door open and go inside...
A figure rushed out from inside.
She instinctively dodged.
Ji Zai managed to evade it, but Nan Yao could not.
The unseen figure grabbed Nan Yao by the neck, making it hard for Nan Yao to breathe. Before the figure could say anything, a sharp pain shot through her chest.
He was sent flying.
It was slapped against the wall.
Before Nan Yao could recover from her shock, she saw the man being thrown out, bleeding profusely. She stood there like a stiff puppet, slowly looking in Ji Zai's direction.
