Chapter 207 Josie, I give up.
Upon hearing the noise, Josie turned around in surprise: "So you were here..."
Before she could even utter the word "home," her voice and smile froze on her face.
The person standing at the door was neither Zhao Wenjing nor Granny Chen!
Instead, it was Feng Ye wearing only loose shorts and his muscular upper body bare!
He seemed to have just been woken up; his hair was disheveled, with a few strands of black hair casually falling across his forehead. His eyes still held the drowsiness of someone just waking up and a hint of displeasure at being disturbed, but deep within his profound eyes, there was still the usual coldness and disdainful aura, like a lazy beast.
Beautiful muscle lines were exposed in the cool morning air; broad shoulders and a narrow waist exuded a wild and powerful aura.
Seeing Josh standing frozen at the door, he raised an eyebrow, seemingly a little surprised, but it was quickly overwhelmed by a complex and indescribable emotion.
He stepped aside to make room, his voice hoarse from just waking up, his tone unreadable: "Aren't you coming in?"
Josie felt her cheeks burning. Her gaze lingered on him for several seconds before she snapped out of it, looking away awkwardly. She said quickly, "No... I didn't know you were here. Wenjing and the others aren't home. I'll come later."
After saying that, she almost instinctively wanted to turn around and leave.
However, her arm was suddenly grabbed by a hot and powerful hand!
With a little effort, Feng Ye easily pulled her inside the door.
With a loud bang, the door slammed shut behind him.
At the same time, he took a step forward, and the oppressive feeling brought by his tall figure instantly enveloped Josie, trapping her in the narrow corner behind the door.
The two were so close they could almost feel each other's breath.
Feng Ye lowered his head, his deep gaze fixed on her, as if trying to draw her in.
His Adam's apple bobbed, his voice low and dangerous, carrying a hint of something else that was hard to detect.
"You really don't want to see me?"
After calming down, Josie looked up at him.
Her clear eyes showed no sign of yielding, and even though Feng Ye's gaze was as imposing as a physical presence, she stubbornly met his gaze. "Didn't you say you didn't want to see me?"
Her voice was calm, yet like a fine needle, precisely piercing the tense atmosphere.
Feng Ye stared at her, his chest heaving slightly, as if he was quite taken aback by her words.
He almost gritted his teeth as he squeezed out the words, "Josh, you're really something!"
However, to Josie's surprise, as soon as he finished speaking angrily and leaned down to kiss him, he also uttered a very low, deep, almost sigh-like concession: "I give up."
Josie froze, her heart pounding as if struck by something unexpected.
She never expected that Feng Ye, with his proud and unyielding nature, would say something like "admit defeat."
But before he could even process the shock, he was completely overwhelmed by Feng Ye's subsequent kisses, which were like a storm.
His kiss was intense, almost punitive, yet also filled with the madness of something lost and regained and an indescribable longing, instantly robbing Josie of all her ability to breathe and think.
From behind the cold door panel to the slightly messy sofa, and then to the not-so-spacious bed in the inner room, Feng Ye didn't even give her a chance to catch her breath or sort out her thoughts.
Josie felt dizzy and her mind was a jumbled mess. She could only passively follow his rhythm and be swept up in the intense sensory impact he brought.
The temperature inside the room rose steadily, and the air was filled with an ambiguous atmosphere and subtle sounds.
Feng Ye's scorching hot palm, calloused from the heat, left burning marks on her smooth, delicate skin, moving downwards and igniting clusters of uncontrollable flames.
Josie was completely covered by the man's strong, tall body, as if he were about to crush her into his bones and blood.
Unconsciously, she raised her beautiful, fragile neck, like a swan offering its neck to be slaughtered, being drawn into a dizzying cloud of light time and time again by him, her consciousness fading, only able to futilely scratch at his sweaty, well-defined back.
After an unknown amount of time, as the tide of passion surged again, Josie finally regained a sliver of strength. She weakly raised her hand to press against his hard, iron-like chest, her voice broken and faltering, "No... for... a little while... um..."
Before he could finish speaking, the remaining syllables were broken into disjointed sobs by Feng Ye's sudden, intensified movements.
Feng Ye looked down at the woman beneath him, her face flushed, her eyes glistening with tears, and her beauty unbelievable. A smile curved his lips as he gently kissed her slightly swollen lips, his voice husky and sexy: "How about later? Hmm?"
That despicable man!
Josie was both embarrassed and angry, so she opened her mouth and bit his muscular shoulder with considerable force.
"Hiss..." Feng Ye groaned, but instead of backing away, he seemed to be aroused, his hand almost snapping her slender waist, his movements becoming even wilder.
Josie's voice grew increasingly broken, barely able to bear the extreme pleasure and torment.
Just then, the sound of a key turning in the lock and the clear voices of Zhao Wenjing and Grandma Chen talking could be heard from outside the living room!
"Grandma, we're so lucky today! The exchange counter even has fresh tomatoes! We still have the eggs we exchanged last time. How about we make some scrambled eggs with tomatoes and some stir-fried shredded potatoes for dinner?"
"Okay, do as you see fit. Xiao Ye is back, so make it a bit more elaborate," came Grandma Chen's kind voice.
"Mmm!" Zhao Wenjing responded happily, then muttered with some confusion, "Huh? Why is Brother Feng Ye's inner room door closed? He usually doesn't close it."
Aside from sleeping, or... when Josie is here.
Grandma Chen, with her rich experience, immediately noticed a woman's coat that clearly didn't belong to Feng Ye, casually tossed on a stool by the door. She instantly understood and quickly pulled her granddaughter aside, saying, "Never mind your brother Feng Ye, he's probably just tired and resting. Go and cook, Grandma will help you."
The old house had extremely poor sound insulation, and conversations outside could be clearly heard inside, every word reaching Josie's ears.
Her body tensed instantly, her toes curled up, and she glared fiercely at Feng Ye on top of her.
But her eyes were shimmering with moisture, and her face was full of spring fever. Far from being intimidating, it was more like a silent invitation.
Feng Ye chuckled softly, but deliberately slowed down and intensified his movements, forcing Qiao Xi to bite her lip tightly to avoid making any embarrassing sounds.
After another long and drawn-out struggle, Josie was completely exhausted and didn't even have the strength to move a finger.
She slumped against the messy headboard, her chest, neck, and even arms covered in ambiguous red marks, looking utterly hopeless. Her voice was hoarse as she complained, "It's all your fault... you have no self-control... how will Grandma Chen and Wenjing think if I go out like this?"
