Chapter Forty: Feng Ye, Let Go
But most of her body still fell onto the man's body, and it seemed that she touched a certain part of him, causing the man to groan.
Josie immediately recognized Feng Ye's voice.
She tried to move and get up, but the hand gripping her waist tightened.
"Feng Ye, let go." Qiao Xi's voice was very low, worried about waking Lu Yuyang next to her.
But Feng Ye not only didn't let go, he also quickly turned her around, putting her on top of him and her on the bottom.
What are you doing?
Lu Yuyang was lying not far away, and Chen Qiurong and Zhao Wenjing were also lying on the bed.
Even in the darkness, when she couldn't see Feng Ye's face clearly, she could still feel the intense pressure emanating from him.
"Josie, it was you when I was hypnotized that day, wasn't it?"
Josie's hand trembled as she pushed him.
Did he know?
Josie's cheeks burned as she thought about what he had done to her that day.
"It wasn't me, let go first." She wouldn't admit it.
The man chuckled softly, "Josh, I was just hypnotized, I didn't lose my memory."
Josie squirmed beneath him, trying to break free from his hold.
Feng Ye grunted again, "If you move around again, I can't guarantee I won't do anything to you."
"Then I won't move, and you'll let go of me?"
In the darkness, she opened her eyes wide and met his gaze.
Although the light was dim, they could see that the other was looking at them.
"Promise me one thing, and I'll let you go."
The narrow cave was full of people, and he had no intention of doing anything to her.
Josie didn't want to jump into the trap, so she just asked, "What is it? That depends on whether I have the ability to do it."
Feng Ye snorted, "It's not difficult, it just depends on whether you're willing or not."
Josie took a light breath. "Okay, go ahead."
"Stay away from Lu Yuyang from now on."
"That's it..."
"Um."
She immediately nodded perfunctorily, "Okay, okay, please move aside, I need to go to the toilet."
"You agreed so easily?"
"I agreed, and you're still not happy?"
Feng Ye chuckled softly before getting up and stepping aside.
Josie was about to burst and quickly ran outside.
The villagers in the cave also have someone on night watch every day. After greeting them, Josie crawled out of the cave to relieve herself.
When she returned after taking care of her bodily needs, Feng Ye seemed to be asleep and did not make any further noise.
She tiptoed onto the bed, probably because she had just been a little tired.
This time, I closed my eyes and soon fell into a deep sleep.
In the morning, just as dawn broke, Josh felt the people around her gradually getting up.
But she didn't want to move, so she turned over and slept like a madwoman.
She didn't know how much time had passed before she faintly heard a sound.
"Still not awake?"
"Yes, Sister Xixi may have been tired these past few days."
As they were speaking, footsteps approached.
Qiao Xi simply turned over, facing outwards, and her eyes met Lu Yuyang's as soon as she opened them.
His handsome eyes were smiling. "Tired?"
Josie closed her eyes again, sat up lazily, and stretched. "Hmm, did I go to bed late?"
She was so beautiful that even when she had just woken up, with her hair disheveled, she exuded a charmingly languid aura.
"It's not late. I just came in to check on you. If you want to sleep, go back to sleep."
Josie squinted for a moment, then opened her eyes again. "I'm not going to sleep anymore. What's the situation outside today? It's not raining anymore, is it?"
"Yes, the weather is great. The mountain roads will be dry in a couple of days."
Lu Yuyang took the initiative to go to the side, picked up the folding basin on the ground, went out to fetch water and brought it back.
Just as Josie finished tying her hair up, she turned around and saw him wringing out a handkerchief.
He was facing her sideways; he was tall and had a very handsome figure.
His hands, which were wringing out a handkerchief, were also particularly beautiful, with well-proportioned joints and long, slender fingers.
Lu Yuyang seemed to notice her gaze, wrung out the handkerchief, and turned around, his eyes meeting hers.
Seemingly pleased with how Josie looked at him, he smiled and strode towards her.
He held out a handkerchief to her, asking, "Would you like me to wipe it for you?"
His phoenix eyes held a gentle smile, and Josh's heart skipped a beat.
"Thanks."
She took the handkerchief with feigned composure and turned to wipe her face.
It's no wonder she was attracted; that face was just too lethal.
If it were her past self, and she had met Xu Linchuan before meeting him, perhaps she would have taken the initiative to pursue him.
But now, she has to learn to control her feelings.
Men are the most unreliable creatures.
When she finished wiping her face, her heart, which had been rippled with emotion, had returned to normal.
Lu Yuyang also keenly noticed the change in Qiao Xi's attitude.
When she looked at him just now, her eyes were sparkling, and he really liked the way she looked at him.
But in the blink of an eye, the emotion in her eyes disappeared, replaced by a sense of unfamiliarity.
He frowned unconsciously. "What's wrong?"
Josie walked past him to wring out her handkerchief. "What? What's wrong?"
She even had a smile on her face, but it seemed as if there was a layer of mist behind it, making it impossible for him to figure out her true thoughts.
"You just now..."
Lu Yuyang had just started speaking when he heard someone outside the cave exclaim, "What's going on? Why is it suddenly foggy?"
Fog...
Upon hearing this, both of them changed their expressions simultaneously, exchanged a glance, and quickly walked out.
When they arrived at the cave entrance, the outside was completely blocked by fog.
"How strange, this fog came so fast. Just a few seconds ago it was fine, and the weather was great..."
Before he could finish speaking, Josie called out to them, "Everyone, step back quickly."
“This fog is strange, village chief. Have the women take the children to the depths of the cave. The men should not guard the entrance. Instead, move back a bit and line up in a row, and take your weapons for defense.”
Knowing their capabilities, the village chief immediately followed Lu Yuyang's instructions without hesitation.
Lu Yuyang and Qiao Xi stood at the cave entrance, watching the outside warily.
Just then, a figure emerged from the fog.
Just as Lu Yuyang was about to shoot the ice arrow, Feng Ye's voice rang out, "It's me."
He rushed over to Qiao Xi and Feng Ye.
"There's something strange about this fog."
He was just outside the cave when fog suddenly rolled in. Luckily, he quickly figured out his direction, otherwise he would be trapped inside now.
Josie stared intently into the depths of the fog. "We've encountered this before; it was caused by evolved zombies."
Lu Yuyang added from the side, "It's very cunning; perhaps we need to join forces to deal with it."
Feng Ye responded and said to Qiao Xi, who was standing next to him, "Hold your weapons and stand behind us."
The fog gradually spread into the cave. Even though Qiao Xi knew that Lu Yuyang and Feng Ye were not far ahead, she still felt uneasy, gripped her dagger tightly, and paid attention to her surroundings.
Time ticked by, and the cave was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
The man's breathing became heavy due to nervousness.
Suddenly, a sharp voice rang out not far from their side!
