Chapter Forty-Two: The Kiss Falls
He held her tightly in his arms, and Josie could feel her heart racing.
What is he going to do?
Lu Yuyang walked quickly, and after entering the woods, he put her down but still held her waist tightly.
“Lu Yuyang…”
As soon as Josie looked up, she saw his burning gaze.
Her face was reflected in those phoenix eyes, as if she were the only person in the whole world.
She had once seen the same intense emotions in Xu Linchuan's eyes...
Suddenly, the man lowered his head, and his dry lips fell, covering her soft, rosy lips.

He wouldn't let go, and kissed her a few more times before slowly releasing her.
“Lu Yuyang!” Qiao Xi glared at him.
Lu Yuyang, however, beamed with joy.
Already possessing a refined and extraordinary appearance, when he smiled at her like that, his entire body seemed to be glowing.
Josie took a deep breath to calm her racing heart.
"XiXi, I'll wait until you nod in agreement."
Just as Josie was about to say something, footsteps approached.
What are you doing here?
Feng Ye stood not far away, his gaze sweeping back and forth between the two of them.
Josie turned her head away, feigning composure, "It's nothing, just checking if any other zombies are approaching."
Lu Yuyang had just satisfied his craving, and his eyes were filled with a satisfied and joyful expression.
Feng Ye's gaze darkened, and he said to Lu Yuyang, "You and I will search the place. Qiao Xi, go back first."
Lu Yuyang was in a good mood and nodded in agreement.

Josie stood there, not immediately returning to the cave.

Lu Yuyang was stunned for a moment, then turned to look at her.
He clearly felt her response that morning.
“Xixi…”
Just as they started, Zhao Wenjing and Chen Qiurong walked in from outside.
Lu Yuyang stared at Qiao Xi's calm face and helplessly shut his mouth.

Lu Yuyang felt that Qiao Xi seemed to be deliberately avoiding him. Several times he tried to make eye contact with her, but she turned her head away.
They even go to bed very early.
Lu Yuyang stared at her for a while, then lay down on his back. He thought to himself, "Never mind, I'll find another opportunity to talk to her tomorrow morning."

"I need to talk to you about something. Come out for a bit after you've washed up."
After saying that, she was the first to walk out of the cave.
The sky outside was still shrouded in the last layer of darkness.
Josie only waited three minutes before Feng Ye, wearing military boots, approached her step by step.
Before he could speak, Qiao Xi turned to look at him and said bluntly, "Feng Ye, there's something I'd like to ask you for a favor."
Feng Ye stared at her face. "Yes, go ahead."
Qiao Xi pursed her lips. "I want you to help me put on a show in front of Lu Yuyang, so he can see us being intimate. Is that okay?"
Before she could finish speaking, Feng Ye stepped forward, grabbed her waist, and pinned her against the tree trunk.
Josie looked up at him and reminded him, "Not now... it's when Lu Yuyang sees us."
"He's already here."
After saying that, he slipped his arm under her slender waist and pulled her into his arms.
