Chapter Seventy-Three: Superpower Upgrade

Chapter Seventy-Three: Superpower Upgrade

"I'm going to find the evolved zombies."

Having just leveled up, she needs to practice; she can't really let him keep her like a caged bird.

She understood the principle that relying on others is risky and unreliable.

Shen Han immediately put down the plate. "I'll go with you."

"No, I want to train my superpower."

Without turning back, she opened the door and walked out.

With a loud bang, the door slammed shut on Chen Han inside.

He took a deep breath, his gaze fixed on the tightly closed door.

Still feeling uneasy, he opened the door, used his supernatural ability, and followed her at a distance.

She had been tormented by Shen Han all night the night before, and was originally a little weak in her limbs, but after recovering last night, she now feels like she can fly over walls.

Seeing four or five zombies clustered together ahead, she charged straight at them.

Once she entered the zombies' detection range, several zombies simultaneously lunged at her with a "hoarse" sound.

Josie transformed into a chair right in front of them, tripping over two zombies. She then quickly transformed back into human form and flashed behind another zombie.

Pfft...

The dagger swiftly plunged in and was pulled out.

Immediately, another zombie pounced, and she kicked it away.

The transformation caused the zombies to lose their target.

Back and forth, in less than three minutes, she had wiped out all five zombies.

Her exquisite features radiated a glow that was more dazzling than the sunlight.

Shen Han, who was standing not far away, almost made a move, but hesitated for only a moment before seeing her skillfully deal with all the zombies.

His movements were fierce, clean, and efficient, showing significant improvement compared to the previous two days.

Unbeknownst to him, the worry in his eyes turned into admiration.

All morning, Josie had no idea how many zombies she had killed; her body and hair were covered in zombie blood.

But they didn't encounter a single evolved zombie.

No wonder Fengye had to go far away to search. Finding evolved zombies nearby to obtain crystal cores for upgrades would be too slow.

As darkness fell, Josie still hadn't found a single evolved zombie.

Go back to Shen Han's house?

She didn't plan to do that. Tonight, she planned to find a place to spend the night, train for two more days, and then return to the safe zone.

Just as she approached the building to rest, a cloud of black mist drifted in.

At first, Josie didn't notice anything, but when she felt something approaching, she immediately gripped her dagger and turned around.

When the black mist dissipated, revealing Chen Han's figure.

She put down the dagger and said speechlessly, "Could you make a sound when you get close to me? People can really scare each other to death."

"Okay, I'll remind you next time." Shen Han immediately responded, then bent down and picked up her bag.

"Huh? What are you doing with my bag?"

"Aren't you tired after killing all day?"

"I'm so tired!" Josie rubbed her shoulders. "So I'm thinking of taking a break now? Do you want to come with me?"

"Okay, let's go back together." As he spoke, he took her wrist with his other hand and led her outside.

"Stop messing around, I'm really tired and don't want to walk."

"Yes, I won't let you leave."

As soon as he finished speaking, he bent down and lifted her up from the ground in his arms.

Josie opened her mouth to speak, but Chen Han's voice rang out first, "With so much zombie blood on you, how can you sleep comfortably without washing it off?"

That's true... Since there's a free way to ride, she decided not to be polite.

She leaned on his shoulder and dozed off, eventually falling asleep.

When she regained her senses, she noticed a hand roaming over her body.

Josie opened her eyes abruptly and instinctively reached for the dagger, but found nothing.

Seeing that it was Shen Han, his expression softened slightly. "What are you doing?"

She had just woken up, and her voice was still a little hoarse.

"I'm going to help you wash up."

Josie propped herself up on his shoulders and sat up. "No need, I can do it myself."

As she spoke, under Shen Han's gaze, she took off her coat and threw it on the ground next to the toilet, then took off her pants.

Her perfect figure was on full display, presented to Shen Han's view.

However, they were soon separated by a door.

Shen Han touched the bridge of his nose, recalling everything from the night before. He had tasted the sweetness of it all, and a faint blush rose to his ears.

There was plenty of water in the bathroom, but she didn't use it freely. Instead, she used the cold water to clean the blood and grime from her body and hair...

Shen Han was sorting through the supplies and felt that they were still a bit short. With Qiao Xi there, he would have to go and get some water and milk.

As I was counting, I suddenly sensed someone approaching.

Before he could turn around, a soft, warm body pressed against his back.

A pair of slender, alabaster-like arms passed through his waist and draped over his waistband.

Shen Han took a light breath and grasped her fair wrist, but Qiao Xi slipped under his arm like an eel and moved from leaning against her back to leaning against his chest.

She was only wrapped in a thin bath towel, her skin was fair and tender with a faint pink tinge.

The next second, he followed his heart, bent down and picked up Josie in his arms, striding towards his bed.

Before even placing her on the bed, a kiss had already landed.

He kissed her while panting, and quickly took off his clothes.

In the blink of an eye, the two were rolling around in a ball.

The chill of that night seemed even more intense than the previous two days, as if it wanted to devour her piece by piece.

"Josh, stay."

His eyes were bloodshot, and his movements were fierce.

Josie couldn't take it and glared at him.

Little did they know that this one glance would be infinitely alluring.

After two times, Qiao Xi felt she had had enough and kicked him, saying, "Chen Han, I'm sleepy."

“You heartless bastard,” Shen Han lowered his head and gently bit her lip, “I haven’t had enough yet.”

Josie still refused, "Then figure it out yourself, I'm going to sleep."

Shen Han stopped what he was doing and looked at her with deep eyes.

I always felt that he was just a tool in Josh's eyes.

Whether in the beginning or now, this heartless woman has always used him and then discarded him.

But this time, he didn't want to be a tool.

He gripped her waist and tightened his grip.

Josie noticed the man's movements, became angry, and unable to get away, she even opened her mouth to bite him.

The man tilted his head back and closed his eyes tightly.

Sunlight streamed in through the window, falling on the stunningly beautiful face on the bed.

But Josie was still fast asleep, seemingly extremely tired.

She slept until the afternoon before waking up. When she did, her face turned bright red as she thought about the changes in her body the night before.

What kind of superpower does she have? She can even use it like that!
