Chapter Sixty-Seven: Teasing with All Means

Chapter Sixty-Seven: Teasing with All Means

Josie took two deep breaths to calm herself down.

"Okay, go ahead."

Lu Yuyang reached out and brushed the stray strands of hair from her cheek, and whispered, "Do you hate me?"

She loved every single thing about him.

That's why she didn't want to be with him, worried that she might fall for him.

"Hate."

Josie turned her head away and said against her will.

The next second, Lu Yuyang chuckled, his fingertip touching her full lips, "You really hate me?"

"Hmm," Josie sniffed her mind, "Are you trying to say that if I hate you, why did I kiss you?"

Lu Yuyang's expression changed.

Josie raised an eyebrow and a seductive smile spread across her face. "Because I'm not exactly a good woman. I may not like you, but you do have a pretty face."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Yuyang's kiss landed again, fiercely sealing her lips.

He gnawed at her forcefully, using every means to provoke her.

This time, Josie didn't resist; she even raised her arms and wrapped them around his neck in response.

After a long while, Lu Yuyang released her, his hot breath brushing against her cheek. "If you hate me this much, then keep going like this..."

Even with only a sliver of light streaming in through the broken window, Josie could still see the earnest glint in his eyes.

She turned her head away evasively, saying, "You should think about how to get out of here."

Lu Yuyang looked relaxed. "It's fine here. I'm not in a hurry to leave."

"It's all good?" Josie couldn't help but turn to look at him, to make sure he wasn't joking.

Lu Yuyang leaned against the steel frame, his eyes seemingly coated with a layer of soft light. "Yes, it's here that I can be this close to you. Once we're out... won't you want to distance yourself from me again?"

Josie frowned. "Here, I can leave whenever I want, just like you."

For some reason, Lu Yuyang felt that she wasn't telling the truth this time.

If she really doesn't care about herself at all, why would she stay?

She wouldn't even go into this warehouse.

"You'd better hurry up and figure out a way to get out. If you can't get out, I'll definitely leave."

After saying that, she turned her head to look outside, her mind starting to work.

My hand was suddenly grasped. "Okay, you stay with me for a while. If I can't get out, you can go first."

Josie had indeed told herself that she would try her best to find a solution.

But if she can't help, she won't stay with him.

But when she actually heard him say the words to tell her to leave, she felt a little uneasy.

She tried to pull her hand away, but couldn't. She turned and glared at him. "Do you really want to spend the night here? Let go of me, I'll go find some tools and see if I can cut these steel frames."

Lu Yuyang looked at her for a while, then nodded with a smile, "Okay, I'll wait for you."

After saying that, Josie didn't look at his seductive face anymore, and turned into a piece of paper and floated away.

She walked back and forth in the warehouse, holding a flashlight.

The warehouse is so big; it would be great if she had spatial abilities and could keep all these supplies for herself.

Unfortunately, her superpower is a useless ability that can neither be used in combat nor in practice.

She scanned the shelves with her flashlight, circling them twice, but only found scissors.

What use is this thing?

Josie was a little discouraged, but this was the only tool she had at hand.

The rest were just tissues, food, rope, etc... even less useful.

He came back with several pairs of scissors of different sizes.

"I've looked around, and these are the only tools we have. Let's try them and see if they work."

"Give me one."

Lu Yuyang reached out and took a pair of scissors from her hand.

The two of them worked together to pry open the steel bars.

But compared to a steel frame, scissors are like an ant trying to shake a tree.

Even though Josie was sweating profusely, the steel frame didn't deform.

Lu Yuyang pried for a long time, but only managed to deform the steel frame slightly.

After working for several hours, the steel frame could only accommodate one man's outstretched arm.

She glanced anxiously at the sky outside, which was gradually darkening.

Lu Yuyang put down the scissors. "Xixi, go back to the safe zone before it gets dark. Don't worry about me, I'll think of something else."

"What plan are you thinking of? Do you want to trap yourself here and die?"

Upon hearing this, Lu Yuyang's lips curled into a smile. "Are you concerned about me?"

"Who cares about you? I'm a compassionate person; I'd lend a helping hand even if I saw a cat trapped."

Lu Yuyang chuckled, "I believe you, but it's not safe outside right now. Evolved zombies could appear at any time. Listen to me, let's go back to the safe zone first, and tomorrow we'll have the ability users in the safe zone bring their tools to help."

"What about you? What if you encounter a powerful mutated zombie?"

Trapped here, unable to move, they're just sitting ducks.

"No, this place is sealed off. It won't be easy for evolved zombies to get in."

After thinking it over, Josie realized that making the round trip tomorrow would be quite troublesome.

"Forget it, I won't go back. I'll stay here with you for the night. Tomorrow I'll go look around for tools. If that still doesn't work, I'll go back to the safe zone for help."

Lu Yuyang was actually worried about her going back alone, and it would be better if she wanted to stay.

Are you hungry?

After asking a question, Josie opened her bag, took out cookies and water, and handed them over.

Lu Yuyang didn't stand on ceremony and took it, saying, "Thank you."

Josie took out food and prepared to eat, but Lu Yuyang said, "It's not safe for you to come in outside."

Josie looked around and said with a smile, "It's really dangerous. It's dangerous if you hide inside and can't escape."

"I'm scared. Will you come in and keep me company?"

"Fear?"

We weren't afraid of going back and forth through hordes of zombies, so what are we afraid of now?

She wasn't fooled at all and continued standing outside.

After finishing the food and water, and even taking a short break to wash up, I looked around and looked for a place to rest.

Suddenly, a muffled groan came from inside the steel cage.

"What's wrong?"

Her attention was immediately drawn back.

"The wound hurts a lot, I don't know if it's infected."

"Let me see, I also have antibiotics in my bag."

After saying that, she transformed and crawled back inside.

As soon as she appeared, she was hugged by Lu Yuyang.

"It won't hurt, I was just kidding."

Josie looked up at him and suddenly felt a little unfamiliar.

He wasn't like this before, why does he seem so shameless now?

"It's spacious enough inside. We can spend the night here. Even if evolved zombies come in, their attacks hitting the steel frame will alert us."

That's true.

After fighting zombies all day, she was indeed a little sleepy as it got dark.

She yawned and nudged him, "Then let go, I want to sleep."

After Lu Yuyang let go, Qiao Xi lay down next to him. As soon as she closed her eyes, she felt the man's body press against her.

He pulled her into his arms with his long arms.

Josie moved to the side, but he tightened his arms, trapping her in his embrace.

"Lu Yuyang, you saw my relationship with Feng Ye last time, what are you trying to do now?" She suddenly opened her eyes and met the man's gaze.
