Chapter Sixty-Six: Will You Be With Me?
Just as the two were locked in a stalemate, a woman's cries came from afar again, "Don't go, save me!"

Lu Yuyang quickly turned around and headed towards the spot where the incident had occurred.

Josie was getting impatient and almost couldn't resist trying to launch a sneak attack first.
Just then, the zombie that was eating suddenly raised its head, and countless ice spikes shot towards it.

The evolved zombie roared angrily in Lu Yuyang's direction.
Josie had a vague feeling that something around her was changing.
But she couldn't see clearly.
Just as Josie was about to launch a sneak attack, the evolved zombie moved.
It moved behind the shelf next to it.
"Lu Yuyang, how are you?"
It was too dark ahead, and she didn't know where he was hiding.

Just then, with a "crash," the glass shattered.
The superhumans scrambled to climb over the shelves and vault out of the high windows.
The evolved zombies were drawn to the sound from the other side and didn't seem to be in a hurry to take Lu Yuyang's life.
After observing for a while, it moved over and began to eat.
Just as it crouched down, Lu Yuyang's second wave of attacks arrived. It seemed unable to understand why the food it had trapped would fight back.
It tilted its head and nestled next to Josie.
But it seems the attack missed its mark; it is trying to get up.
Without hesitation, Josie transformed into human form and stabbed the dagger in her hand with deadly precision toward its head.
Not content with just plunging it in, she also stirred it vigorously.
After confirming that the evolved zombies were not making any movement, Josie collapsed to the ground.
Just now, she was actually very worried that the evolved zombie would deliver the final blow, but she still risked it and attacked.
Josie then took the flashlight out of her bag and shone it on the ground.
The surroundings were too gruesome for her to look at directly, so she focused the flashlight beam primarily on the zombies' bodies.
It had more than a dozen icicles stuck in its body, but only one pierced the side of its head. No wonder it could still move after it fell down.
Lu Yuyang, who was not far away, also saw what was happening.
"Josh, are you alright?"
Upon hearing Lu Yuyang's voice, Qiao Xi shone the flashlight in his direction.
Lu Yuyang was encased in a steel frame, which was cast into a cage. It was clear that the evolved zombie wanted to trap him as its next meal.
She picked up the evolved zombie's core and quickly walked to Lu Yuyang's side. "Are you hurt?"

His voice sounded normal.
Josie quickly circled the cage to check if there were enough gaps.
"The gap is too narrow; you can't get out."
Josie tried to pry the steel bars off, but to no avail.
"Lu Yuyang, I can't open this steel frame. I'll go and call them back to help you."
As soon as she finished speaking, she turned around to chase after the superhumans, but then she heard Lu Yuyang's muffled groan behind her.
She immediately stopped in her tracks. "Are you badly injured?"
"Not heavy."
Josie shone her flashlight inside, but couldn't see any injuries, so she put the flashlight away and turned into a piece of paper, floating inside.
The space inside wasn't narrow, but it felt a bit cramped as soon as Josie went in.
Where are you hurt?
Lu Yuyang stared at her face, then slowly turned around to show her the cut on his side from the steel frame.
A large area of abrasions, bloody and mangled.
"Don't move. I have alcohol and gauze in my bag. I'll give you some simple treatment."
She put down her bag, found some alcohol to disinfect his wounds, and finally bandaged them with gauze.
Just as she was about to look up and talk to him, he suddenly grabbed the back of her head with one hand and covered her with a burning kiss.
At first, he seemed to be testing the waters.
After realizing what was happening, Josie pushed him away with her hand.
But the man who had just been gentle suddenly became domineering, almost stealing her breath away.
Gradually, Lu Yuyang noticed that her resistance was getting weaker and weaker, and she leaned limply against him.
Her heart softened, she wrapped her arms around him tightly, and kissed him even more passionately.
“Xixi…”
He murmured her name, his hand stroking her back, "Will you be with me?"
He tried leaving her and living his own life.
But when she reappeared in his life, he couldn't help wanting to get closer to her and take her back.

The kiss moved from her lips to her ear.
Josie suddenly snapped out of her daze and pushed him away, saying, "Lu Yuyang, that's enough."
Lu Yuyang's hands were still around her back, but his lips slowly left her ear.
“Josie, let’s talk.”
