Chapter Thirty-Nine: Grasped by a Rough Hand
He never imagined that after spending more than 20 years of his life focused solely on studying, he would one day use his cunning to deceive the woman he loved.
Josie observed for a while and almost laughed out of anger.
The wound on his shoulder from the zombie bite had stopped bleeding, and his previously pale face now had a healthy red glow, showing no signs of mutation whatsoever.
Josie reached out and pushed him away. "Aren't you going to mutate? What if you hug me so tightly and bite me in a minute?"
Lu Yuyang's body stiffened slightly.
"Let go quickly, I'm going back first. You wait here, and go back if there's no mutation."
