Chapter Thirty-One: Feelings Erupt Like a Volcano
His gaze reminded her of the time Xing Jiao had someone hypnotize him, when he had also aggressively suppressed her, almost taking advantage of her completely.
Her heart suddenly started racing. She glared at Feng Ye and said, "I can put it on myself. You guys go in first."
After saying this, neither Lu Yuyang nor Feng Ye moved.
Josie, of course, couldn't move either.
What are these two doing?
Aren't you leaving?
Lu Yuyang has the looks of a top student and a handsome school heartthrob; his face alone doesn't look aggressive.

They were waiting for her to go to the safe zone together.
The unfamiliar feelings they had never experienced before surged like a volcano when faced with a powerful opponent.
Qiao Xi had no idea what had happened between the two of them. When she got dressed and came in, she only saw Lu Yuyang standing alone in the dark alley.
It took her a while to adjust to the light, and only then, with the moonlight streaming in through the window, could she barely recognize him.
"Lu Yuyang?"
Hearing Qiao Xi's voice, Lu Yuyang concealed the dark glint in his eyes and slowly turned his head. "Does your foot still hurt?"

"Okay, get some rest. I just cleaned the room on the right, you can sleep here."
Josie stopped in her tracks, which was about to take a step forward. She had originally planned to just find a corner to lean against for the night.
Lu Yuyang even took the time to help clean up. Her eyes crinkled into a smile as she said, "Thanks!"
A gentle smile appeared on Lu Yuyang's face. "Okay, go to sleep. Goodnight."
Josie waved to him, turned and went into the cleaned room, locked the door and lay down on the bed.
Once you relax completely and stop thinking about anything, you'll quickly fall asleep.
In the morning, Josie was awakened by a fragrant aroma.
As dawn broke, Josie could already smell the mouthwatering aroma even with her eyes closed.
She sat up abruptly, ran her fingers through her hair, and the sleepiness vanished. She quickly put on her shoes, opened the door, and went outside.
Once the door was opened, the aroma of the noodles became even more pronounced.
Following the smell to the kitchen, Chen Qiurong was busy. Hearing footsteps, she immediately turned around with a smile, "Xixi, this place has liquefied gas, noodles, and ramen sauce. We can make you a noodle meal."
Josie took a deep breath and said contentedly, "Grandma, it's so wonderful to have you here."
Chen Qiurong smiled and said, "Wait a minute, we'll be able to eat soon."
Qiao Xi smiled and responded, then turned around and saw Lu Yuyang and Feng Ye sitting in the living room.
Lu Yuyang smiled and nodded at her, seemingly ready to give her the ice crystal.
On the other side, Feng Ye sat motionless, his face expressionless, but his eyes were fixed on her.
Qiao Xi went back into the house, took out the folding basin, and ran happily to Lu Yuyang's side with a grin.
Lu Yuyang said nothing, but smiled and filled her basin with ice crystals.
When I returned after washing up, there was already a delicious bowl of noodles on the table.
Everyone is waiting for her.
Josie's stomach was already protesting, but she sat smilingly in the empty seat between Lu Yuyang and Feng Ye.
After finishing a mouthful of noodles, Josie squinted her eyes contentedly.
Seeing this, Lu Yuyang picked out a piece of noodles from his own bowl that he hadn't yet eaten and gave it to her, saying, "Eat more."
Josie quickly moved away; food was precious, especially since he was a grown man.
"You eat it yourself, I have enough."
The two exchanged words, which Feng Ye observed, but his gaze grew increasingly cold.
Everyone was in a hurry to get somewhere, so they ate very quickly.
"Let's go, let's set off!"
Once everyone was ready, Feng Ye opened the door and went out first.
The three women walked in the middle as before, with Lu Yuyang bringing up the rear.
After a night, zombies began wandering over the highway from other places.
Every so often they walked, they would see a car stopped in the middle of the road or crashed into the guardrail.
One can imagine the horrific scene when the end times arrive.
The weather is getting hotter, so it's best to get to a safe zone before summer arrives.
Chen Qiurong never complained of being tired and always tried her best to keep up with everyone's pace.
When they turned onto another road, they found that the entire road ahead was blocked by cars.
Zhao Wenjing saw the zombies wandering around the car in the distance. "How do we get out of here?"
"Let's take another route and rest for a bit."
She could tell that Granny Chen was about to collapse, so she helped her sit down next to a big tree by the roadside.
Everyone drank some water and ate some biscuits.
"Left into the city, right into the mountains, which way?"
Feng Ye didn't know the exact location of the safe zone, so he stared at Qiao Xi and asked.
"Let's go into the mountains."
The group rested and chatted for a while when they suddenly heard the sound of a car engine.
Having a car is certainly a good thing, but cars need gas, and there are always roadblocks that can appear. You might have to stop after driving only two kilometers, unless you have no destination and just change routes when you encounter obstacles.
Because Feng Ye and Lu Yuyang were there, she had no intention of avoiding the survivors.
They just sat there casually, watching the car slowly approach.
Then... it stopped diagonally in front of them.
Josh noticed that it was a bus, and there were at least twenty people on it.
But she wasn't interested in talking to these people, so she turned her gaze away.
"XiXi?"
Suddenly someone stood in front of her and called out her name.
