Chapter Three: Seduction
Zhou Ye's angry shout instantly brought Gu Yuan to his senses, and he quickly withdrew his hand that was about to touch Qiao Xi's waist.
"Qiao Xi, are you seducing Gu Yuan?"
Zhou Ye's voice surprisingly contained an anger at being cheated on.
Josie looked at him lazily, neither admitting nor denying it.
Zhou Ye rebuked sharply, "I will tell Lin Chuan about this, and let him see your true colors!"
A nonchalant smile appeared on Josie's lips.
If she remembered correctly, many times when she came out of the shower, this "upright" man would be waiting outside the door, his eyes greedily and brazenly fixed on her body.
Now he's dressed up like a respectable gentleman.
"Alright, go tell him now, anyone who doesn't is a coward."
Zhou Ye's face stiffened, clearly not expecting her to be so decisive.
Gu Yuan gave Qiao Xi a deep look, then pulled Zhou Ye aside and said, "You've misunderstood, it's not what you think..."

He stepped out of the shadows and approached her.
This is Zhou Ye's special ability: he can move through the shadows.
Like her, she has no offensive capabilities and her superpower is quite useless.
Josie sat on the sofa, her bright eyes smiling, her perfect figure outlined in an alluring curve by her dress.
The beast trapped in Zhou Ye's chest struggled to break free, his gaze towards Qiao Xi growing increasingly blatant and dark...
As Zhou Ye drew closer, Qiao Xi tilted her head back and smiled softly, "Want me?"
Zhou Ye didn't say anything, but leaned over and put his arm around her shoulder, eagerly kissing her lips.
Just as he was about to kiss the lips he had been longing for, Josie turned her head away.
His kiss missed, his lips brushing against her hairline.
A shadow crossed Zhou Ye's eyes. "Unwilling? Think it through. Without Xu Linchuan and without the protection of an ability user, how long can you survive?"
Josie turned back and looked at him with a smile, "Why are you in such a hurry? Xu Linchuan could come here at any time. Aren't you afraid that if he sees you, it will cause you brothers to turn against each other?"
"You two broke up..."
Josie raised her hand and brushed his cheek. "Once you've arranged a place for me to stay, I'll go with you."
Zhou Ye tightened his grip on her shoulder. "Are you serious?"
"Um."
After receiving Qiao Xi's affirmative answer, Zhou Ye spent the next few days keeping a mistress. Qiao Xi also took the opportunity to promise each of Xu Linchuan's brothers a "home".
She navigated her relationships with his brothers with ease.

Xu Linchuan was drunk and sat dejectedly in the corner.
He swallowed all the bottles of wine he had managed to find.
Su Qianqian said to herself, "Brother Chuan, since Qiao Xi betrayed you like that, why not use her to exchange for supplies..."
Before Xu Linchuan could speak, four unified voices came from the side.
"no!"
Su Qianqian looked at them strangely, "I said I'd trade Qiao Xi for supplies, and Brother Chuan didn't say anything. Why are you refusing?"
The four men understood each other perfectly and remained silent.
Su Qianqian realized what was happening and her anger surged. She had finally managed to get Qiao Xi away from Brother Chuan, and now the four of them were taking a liking to Qiao Xi again.

Zhou Ye warned Su Qianqian with a stern face, "Qianqian, don't mention having Qiao Xi exchange supplies again."
Anger flashed across Su Qianqian's eyes, but she quickly smiled.
"Sure! You're my brothers, after all! Since you want to help, I'll definitely do it."
The men then showed relieved expressions, each secretly plotting their own schemes.

The survivor camp is located in the ancient city, where the old city walls form a natural barrier.
Outside the wall, zombies swarmed, and the stench of decay permeated the air.
Josie slowly stepped onto the city wall, knowing she was about to take a step that was completely different from her previous life.
But she felt a sense of peace and no fear.
I've experienced everything I was meant to experience in my past life, so the worst outcome is just the same.
Hearing footsteps, Su Qianqian crossed her arms and turned around to look at Qiao Xi, who was slowly approaching. A mocking smile appeared on her red lips.
"Qiaoxi, how shameless are you?" Her voice was sweet but venomous. "Brother Chuan threw you away like a used shoe a long time ago, but you still shamelessly cling to me?"
“You’ve got one thing wrong,”
She raised a finger and shook it gently, a nonchalant smile on her lips. "It's not that he doesn't want me, it's that I think he's dirty and not good enough for me."
Su Qianqian never expected that Qiao Xi, who loved Xu Linchuan to the core, would say such a thing.
"What are you pretending to be so high and mighty for?"
She didn't believe it at all and scoffed, "If you really had any backbone, why did you come here today? You only came like a dog wagging its tail because you heard I could help you get back together! Open your eyes and see for yourself, in Brother Chuan's heart, you're not even worth a finger of mine."
"Su Qianqian, the show hasn't even started yet, it's a bit too early to open the champagne now."
Just then, a series of chaotic footsteps suddenly came from below the city wall.
Xu Linchuan arrived in a hurry with several childhood friends. When he looked up, his gaze was fixed on Qiao Xi with intense intensity.
"Qianqian!" Xu Linchuan's voice was hoarse. "You said Qiao Xi wants to see me?"
Su Qianqian immediately put on a gentle smile, "Brother Chuan, come up quickly, Qiao Xi wants to get back together with you."
Xu Linchuan's eyes lit up instantly, like a drowning person grabbing onto a piece of driftwood.
However, the expressions of the other men turned rather unpleasant.
When Su Qianqian saw them step onto the stairs, she raised her hand, ready to slap herself in the face.
But before she could even move her hand, Josie grabbed her wrist.
What are you doing?
Josie didn't answer her immediately, but instead placed her hand on her shoulder.
Then she parted her red lips and whispered in a voice only the two of them could hear, "Su Qianqian, aren't you tired of acting so many times? It's time to change the script today!"
Su Qianqian sensed something was wrong and instinctively broke free.
But he was firmly restrained by Josie.
As the men walked onto the city wall, Qiao Xi suddenly smiled at Su Qianqian, and abruptly let go of her as she struggled, allowing herself to fall backward...
"Josh!!!"
Amidst Xu Linchuan's heart-wrenching roar, she plummeted from the city wall like a bird with broken wings, her long hair billowing and flying in the wind.
Even in her final moments before falling into the horde of zombies, she didn't forget to keep up the act, pleading pitifully and sorrowfully, "Su Qianqian, why did you hurt me? Linchuan... save me!"
