It can even carry the Buran space shuttle on its roof.
A total of two An-225s were produced, but only the first was completed and put into use, becoming a national treasure of Ukraine. However, unfortunately, on March 4, 2022, due to war, this only An-225 was destroyed at Gostomyl Airport in Ukraine.
Il-76 transport aircraft:
The Il-76 transport aircraft is a large, four-engine, dual-purpose, military and civilian strategic transport aircraft developed by the Soviet Ilyushin Aviation Corporation. Development began in the 1970s to meet the Soviet Union's military airlift needs. The Il-76 is renowned for its exceptional range, payload, and speed, and has been widely deployed worldwide. To date, over 38 countries have operated or are currently using the Il-76, with the Soviet Union (Russia) being the largest military user, while Ukraine and Belarus are the largest civilian users.
In general, the An-124, An-225 and Il-76 are outstanding representatives of their respective eras and uses, demonstrating mankind's outstanding achievements in the field of air transportation.
Tu-204 transport aircraft:
The Tu-204, a medium-range, twin-engine turbofan transport aircraft, was developed by the Soviet Tupolev Design Bureau in the 1970s. Its design was intended to meet demand for medium-to-large transport aircraft in both the Soviet and international markets. The Tu-204 featured underwing engine slungs and was equipped with advanced avionics and navigation systems, making it a technologically advanced aircraft for its time.
This transport aircraft has a wide range of applications in both cargo and passenger transport. Its spacious cargo hold and flexible cargo system enable it to carry a variety of cargo, including heavy equipment and containers. The Tu-204 is also frequently used for passenger flights, particularly on international routes.
