As for those mutated creatures, humans also need to reflect deeply. Is it environmental degradation that has caused these mutations, or has human behavior angered these creatures? On the brink of survival and destruction, should humans re-examine their relationship with nature and seek a more harmonious coexistence?
In this RV defense battle, Xiao Yi demonstrated human wisdom and courage. He used his actions to tell us that no matter what crisis we face, as long as we unite as one and have firm beliefs, we will be able to overcome all difficulties.
His heartbeat quickened, and sleepiness vanished instantly. Those eyes came from the depths of the woods not far away, as if something was lurking there, quietly observing him. Xiao Yi hugged the cat beside him tightly, trying to find a little comfort from it, but the cat seemed to be attracted by the mysterious light and struggled to jump out of his arms.
He mustered up his courage and turned on the lights inside the RV. The light illuminated everything around him, and the green eyes vanished. He looked around, seeing nothing but trees and the occasional passing shadow. Was he seeing things? Or was it just a dream?
Xiao Yi tried to calm himself down, telling himself that it might just be an illusion. However, deep in his heart, an inexplicable sense of fear lingered. He knew that this night was destined to be extraordinary.
At this moment, a low howl broke the silence of the night. Xiao Yi's nerves immediately tensed up. He quickly walked to the door of the RV and looked out vigilantly. He saw a dark shadow quickly passing by in the depths of the woods, accompanied by a low roar, as if something was approaching.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash, and the RV began to shake violently. Xiao Yi was startled, and immediately realized that something was attacking his RV. He quickly opened the door, holding the ice knife tightly in his hand, ready to deal with the impending danger.
A massive mutant wolf appeared in front of the RV, its hair standing on end and its eyes gleaming with ferocity. It opened its maw, baring sharp fangs, and lunged at the RV. The RV shook violently under the wolf's attack, seemingly poised to flip over at any moment.
Xiao Yi gripped the ice knife tightly and rushed towards the mutant wolf. He saw the right moment and swung the knife at the wolf's head. The ice knife flashed in the air and directly hit the mutant wolf's head. However, the mutant wolf's skin was extremely tough, and the ice knife only left a shallow scar on its head.
The mutant wolf roared even more fiercely and pounced on the RV again. Its sharp claws scratched at the RV's hull, making a harsh metallic scraping sound. The RV swayed continuously under the mutant wolf's attack, as if it might collapse at any moment.
Xiao Yi was anxious. He knew he had to find a way to subdue the mutant wolf as soon as possible. He quickly observed the mutant wolf's movements, looking for an opportunity to attack. Finally, when the mutant wolf pounced on the RV again, Xiao Yi saw the opportunity and swung his knife at its hind legs.
The ice knife accurately hit the mutant wolf's hind legs, and blood splattered everywhere. The mutant wolf screamed and fell to the ground. Xiao Yi took the opportunity to rush forward and swung the knife at its neck again. This time, the ice knife finally cut into the mutant wolf's body, and blood spurted out.
The mutant wolf struggled painfully for a few times before finally stopping. Xiao Yi breathed a sigh of relief, his tense nerves relaxing. He looked up at the RV and saw that its exterior had been scratched and battered, but fortunately, it hadn't sustained significant damage.
Xiao Yi knew that his success in subduing the mutant wolf was due to his calmness and courage. He understood that in this world full of unknowns, only by remaining vigilant and calm could one cope with all kinds of sudden dangers. This fight with the mutant wolf would become an unforgettable memory in his life.
The RV was teetering on the edge of collapse under the mutant wolf's frenzied attacks. Every impact was like the mockery of death, making Xiao Yi's heart leap into his throat. He knew that sitting there and waiting for death would only lead to his own death. He quickly looked around, searching for resources he could use. In the moonlight, his eyes fell on a pile of dry firewood, which he had prepared earlier for warmth.
A plan instantly came to Xiao Yi's mind. He quickly moved, piling the firewood in a corner of the RV, then pulled out his lighter and lit the firewood. The flames spread rapidly, illuminating the surrounding night sky and Xiao Yi's determined face.
The sudden glow of fire immediately caught the wolves' attention. Frightened by the sudden blaze, they took a few steps back, a hint of hesitation. Yet, driven by hunger, they refused to abandon their prey. They circled the RV, their eyes gleaming fiercely, as if waiting for an opportunity.
On an extremely cold winter night, the flickering firelight illuminated Xiao Yi's nervous face. He looked around, his eyes falling on a pile of dry firewood beside him. A thought quickly flashed through his mind: fire might be his life-saving straw in this life-and-death struggle.
Xiao Yi acted quickly. He stacked the firewood neatly, pressed the lighter in his hand lightly, and the flames shot out, quickly engulfing the firewood. In the light of the fire, his eyes became firm and resolute.
However, at the moment the flames rose, the mutant wolves that had been besieging the RV suddenly stopped their attack. They took a few steps back, revealing a hint of fear and hesitation. Xiao Yi noticed that these usually ferocious mutant wolves, under the illumination of the fire, actually showed a hint of fear in their eyes.
He carefully observed the wolves' reactions and discovered that not only did they not dare approach the fire, but even under the light, their bodies seemed to tremble slightly. It was a deep-seated fear, as if fire was something more terrifying to them than death.
