Chapter 452 Desert Tornado

Xiao Yi reached out, gently picked up a piece of watermelon, and put it in his mouth. The cold watermelon flesh instantly melted in his mouth, bringing a burst of sweetness. He chewed it contentedly, feeling the pleasure brought by this delicious taste.

At this moment, outside the RV window, moonlight sprinkled on the earth like water, covering the desert with a mysterious veil. Xiao Yi lay quietly, listening to the occasional chirping of insects and the sound of wind outside, his heart filled with peace and tranquility.

He knew that he was enjoying a rare solitude and freedom in this vast desert, and this off-road RV was like his mobile castle, providing him with a comfortable and safe haven.

On this night, Xiao Yi felt as if he had become one with nature, his mind having been relaxed and purified as never before. He knew that when the sun rose tomorrow, he would embark on a new journey to explore more unknown worlds. But at this moment, he just wanted to lie quietly in bed and enjoy this rare tranquility and beauty.

Xiao Yi lay on the big bed in the RV, watching the TV series he had downloaded before, and laughing from time to time. The smooth touch of the silk pajamas and the soft mattress under him complemented each other, making him feel as if he was in a comfortable cloud.

The ice in front of the fan had already melted halfway, but the breeze still carried a hint of coolness. This coolness, combined with the soft lighting inside the RV, created a peaceful and cozy atmosphere.

Chilled watermelon and peaches were placed on the small table next to the bed. Occasionally, Xiao Yi would reach out and take a piece to enjoy the sweet and juicy taste. The coolness and sweetness of the fruit melted in his mouth, as if it could dispel all fatigue and worries.

The plot of the TV series was compact and fascinating, and Xiao Yi was completely immersed in it. Sometimes he sighed for the character's experience, and sometimes he was amazed by the plot twists. In this isolated RV space, he seemed to have forgotten the unrest and turmoil in the outside world.

The apocalypse seemed like a distant concept to Xiao Yi. He had ample supplies, and this off-road RV was his right-hand man for coping with the apocalypse. He believed that as long as he remained calm and optimistic, no matter how the outside world changed, he would be able to find his own way to survive in this desert.

As the night deepened, the TV series came to an end. Xiao Yi yawned, stretched, and prepared to end this pleasant day. He turned off the TV, put down the remote control, and then lay on the bed, looking at the starry sky outside the window, his heart full of expectations and longings for the future.

Xiao Yi watched the TV series, gradually attracted by the plot, and laughed softly from time to time. His eyes were focused and bright, as if he had forgotten the passage of time. However, as the night deepened, sleepiness began to creep in.

His eyelids gradually grew heavy, and his breathing became slow and deep. Finally, he put down the remote control, lay down on his side on the soft bed, and closed his eyes. A gentle smile appeared on his face, as if he was dreaming a beautiful dream.

The RV fell into silence, with only the hum of the fan and the occasional chirping of insects outside the window. Xiao Yi's breathing was even and steady, and he was completely immersed in sleep.

In his dream, there is no desolation or danger of the end of the world, only beautiful scenery and warm times. He seems to have returned to the past, laughing, exploring, and enjoying a carefree life with his family and friends.

However, the dangers and challenges of the real world did not disappear because of his deep sleep. But in this quiet night, Xiao Yi could temporarily forget all his troubles and worries and enjoy this rare peace and comfort.

When the first rays of morning sunlight streamed into the RV through the window, Xiao Yi slowly woke from his sleep. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and looked out the window at the bright sunshine, his heart filled with hope and courage. He knew that a new day had begun, and he would continue to face the challenges of the apocalypse and find his own way to survive.

Today, Xiao Yi welcomed an unexpected guest. At noon, the tranquil sky suddenly darkened, and a strong wind swept in. Xiao Yi was preparing lunch in his RV when he heard a whirring sound outside. He looked out the window and saw dust being blown up by the wind, forming yellow walls.

The wind grew stronger and stronger, and the RV began to shake violently. Xiao Yi's heart tightened, and he quickly put down his work and walked to the window to observe carefully. He found that the car body had begun to move sideways, as if being pulled by a huge force. He immediately realized that this sudden storm was no small matter and that measures must be taken as soon as possible to deal with it.

Xiao Yi quickly returned to the cab, activated the four-wheel drive system of the off-road RV, and increased the tire pressure to enhance the vehicle's stability and grip. He gripped the steering wheel tightly, staring intently at the road ahead, ready to deal with any possible danger at any time.

The RV struggled to move forward in the strong wind, and the body of the car was constantly pushed sideways by the wind. Xiao Yi kept adjusting the direction, trying to keep the vehicle moving in a straight line. He knew that in such bad weather, any negligence could lead to serious consequences.

Finally, after a strenuous effort, Xiao Yi successfully drove the RV into a relatively sheltered valley. He stopped the car, breathed a sigh of relief, and wiped the sweat from his forehead. He knew that this storm was just a small test in the apocalypse, and more challenges awaited him in the future. But he believed that as long as he remained calm and brave, he would be able to overcome all difficulties and survive.

Xiao Yi's heart sank, and he cried out inwardly, "Not good!" He knew very well that in the desert, quicksand and tornadoes were the two most terrifying natural enemies. At this moment, a huge tornado had formed in the distance, its rotation speed getting faster and faster, as if it was going to swallow up the entire desert.
