Like countless sharp blades, the sun relentlessly slices through every inch of the land, scorching the sand until even the air seems on fire.
Beneath my feet lay the soft sand dunes. Stepping down, the sand slid down my ankles, seemingly swallowing me whole. The grains of sand were fine and sharp, dancing wildly in the wind like a herd of hungry beasts, roaring and biting, attempting to tear apart any obstacle that stood in their way.
