Chapter 557 Desert Snakes

After dealing with the snakes, Xiao Yi heaved a sigh of relief, but he didn't slack off. He quickly turned around and jumped onto an SUV parked nearby. He started the engine, and the tires left deep marks on the sand. The vehicle sped away, disappearing into the night in an instant.

But Xiao Yi knew that rattlesnakes had a keen sense of smell, so to be on the safe side, he had to take measures to prevent being caught up. He took out a bottle of pre-prepared irritant liquid from the car. This liquid could mask the smell of humans and had a strong repellent effect on snakes.

Xiao Yi half-opened the car window and carefully sprayed the liquid. Waves of pungent smell filled the air, mixing with the dry desert air to form an invisible barrier. He continued to spray, making sure to leave a long trail behind the car.

As the vehicle sped, the smell of the pungent liquid spread across the desert. Even if Rattlesnake wanted to chase, it was blocked by the strong smell and could no longer get close to Xiao Yi's vehicle.

Xiao Yi's tense nerves finally relaxed, and he knew that he was out of danger for the time being. But he did not relax his vigilance, and remained highly alert, always paying attention to the movements around him.

In subsequent expeditions, Xiao Yi became even more cautious. He was always prepared to deal with any unexpected situation, and he also learned how to use the surrounding environment and resources to protect himself. He knew that in this desert full of unknowns, only by remaining vigilant and cautious could he survive.

It was already three in the morning, the night was as dark as ink, and the silence of the desert was gently covered by the moonlight. After the thrilling encounter with the rattlesnakes, Xiao Yi felt exhausted, sleepiness surged like a tide, and he even started to have a headache.

Finally, he came to a relatively safe place, away from the threat of snakes and temporarily out of the dangers of the desert. Xiao Yi simply washed his body and clothes. Although the conditions were simple, the freshness at the moment was enough for him.

He walked into the RV and turned on the light next to the big bed. The light was soft and warm. Xiao Yi lay on the bed, feeling as if his body was wrapped in the soft mattress, and a sense of comfort came over him. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, wanting to absorb all the fatigue of the day into his body and then exhale it all at once.

Xiao Yi's breathing became even and deep as he began to feel sleepy. His thoughts began to blur, his consciousness gradually drifted away from reality, and he fell into a deep sleep. In his dream, he seemed to be in a tranquil ocean, with the waves gently lapping against his body, bringing him an unprecedented sense of peace and relaxation.

That night, Xiao Yi slept soundly and peacefully. He was no longer troubled by nightmares, nor was he awakened by the terrifying images of rattlesnakes. His body and mind were fully rested and recovered, ready for the next adventure.

When the first rays of sunlight streamed into the RV through the window, Xiao Yi slowly opened his eyes. He felt refreshed, as if he had regained vitality and energy. He stretched, sat up, and looked out the window at the golden desert, his heart filled with anticipation and courage.

He knew that a new day had arrived and he would continue to move forward and explore this mysterious and beautiful desert.

That night, Xiao Yi's sleep was extremely restless. He lay on the big bed in the RV, where he should have enjoyed peace and rest, but his dreams haunted him like a nightmare.

In the dream, army ants surged in like a tide, so dense and so numerous that it was suffocating. They devoured everything frantically, and the ground was covered with them in a dense, black mass. Xiao Yi wanted to escape, but the army ants pursued him like a thorn in his flesh. He felt there was nowhere to escape and could only watch them approach.

Then, the dream shifted again. The army ants suddenly transformed into a swarm of rattlesnakes with gaping maws. Their tongues spitting out, their sharp fangs bared, they launched a fierce attack on Xiao Yi. He struggled hard, trying to dodge, but the snakes were everywhere like ghosts, leaving him nowhere to hide.

Cold sweat rolled down Xiao Yi's forehead, soaking the pillow. His breathing became rapid and heavy, and his heartbeat was like a drum beating wildly in his chest. He tried to break free from the dream, but the dream was like an endless vortex, sucking him tightly.

After an unknown amount of time, Xiao Yi finally woke up from his dream. He sat up suddenly, gasping for breath, as if he had just escaped from a life-and-death struggle. He touched his forehead and found that his hair was wet with sweat.

That night, Xiao Yi felt extremely tired and terrified. He knew that these nightmares were not groundless, but were caused by his deep fear and anxiety about the dangers in the desert. He knew that he had to be more cautious in order to survive in this desert full of unknowns.

Therefore, Xiao Yi decided to be more vigilant in the next expedition and not give any danger any chance to take advantage. He believed that as long as he remained calm and courageous, he would be able to overcome all difficulties and complete this expedition.

The early morning sun was as hot as a blazing fire, mercilessly baking the desert earth. Xiao Yi was so irritated by the glaring sunlight that he could hardly open his eyes. He squinted his eyes and adapted to the strong light.

He struggled to sit up in bed, feeling a wave of heat rushing towards him, as if it was about to swallow him whole. He frowned, wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, and a feeling of irritation surged in his heart.

However, living in this barren desert, Xiao Yi knew he had no choice but to face it bravely. He stood up and walked to the wash area, splashing cold water on his face, trying to dispel the heat. The cold water stimulated his skin, making him feel a little cool and refreshed.
