Xiao Yi is a gentle and refined man who is used to looking at the world with a calm eye, believing that everyone is like him, pure in heart and genuine in appearance. However, life is always full of unexpected twists and turns. On that breezy afternoon, Xiao Yi met a woman named Su Ya.
Su Ya's appearance is not outstanding, with smooth black hair, deep eyes, and a faint smile. She speaks softly and behaves well, giving people a gentle and virtuous feeling. Xiao Yi fell in love with her at first sight and felt that this was his ideal partner.
Soon after they met, they began to interact frequently. Xiao Yi was very caring towards Su Ya. Whether it was the trivialities of life or the troubles at work, he was willing to listen and try his best to solve them. And Su Ya also showed that she was very dependent on him, as if he was the salvation of her life.
However, as time went on, Xiao Yi gradually discovered something was amiss. He discovered that Su Ya's concern for him was not pure, and she was always, intentionally or unintentionally, inquiring about his financial situation and family background. Whenever he mentioned his achievements and wealth, a subtle greed would always flash in Su Ya's eyes.
Xiao Yi began to doubt Su Ya's true face, but he was unwilling to believe his own judgment. He tried to convince himself that all this was his illusion and that Su Ya was just a kind and simple woman. However, the fact was not so.
One day, Xiao Yi stumbles upon a flirtatious text message on Su Ya's phone about a large sum of money being transferred. He's shocked and immediately realizes Su Ya's true intentions. It turns out she's been exploiting his feelings to gain more benefits from him.
Xiao Yi felt heartbroken, and he couldn't believe his eyes and ears. He found Su Ya and wanted to ask her what was going on. However, Su Ya admitted what she had done without any reservation, and even said plausibly: "You gave it to me voluntarily, I didn't force you."
Xiao Yi was completely disappointed. He felt like he was being played around by a cunning fox. He left in anger, determined to forget this hypocritical woman.
However, life does not stop just because someone leaves. Xiao Yi began to re-examine his life and values. He understood a truth: appearance is often just a facade, and the true inner world needs to be explored and understood with heart. He no longer easily believed others' appearances, but learned to feel and judge with his heart.
This experience made Xiao Yi grow up a lot. He became more mature and rational. He understood that love is not everything in life, and what is really important is to keep the purity and truth in one's heart. He believes that in the future, he will meet the person who is truly worthy of his cherishment.
Xiao Yi has always been a tolerant and kind person. He believes that human nature is good and everyone has the opportunity to reform. However, he never expected that the gentle and virtuous woman in his heart would do such a shocking thing - she actually wanted to steal the vegetable seedlings in the vegetable garden and sell them for money.
It was a sunny morning, and Xiao Yi went to the vegetable patch as usual to check on the seedlings he had carefully cultivated. From a distance, he saw Su Ya lingering stealthily by the edge of the vegetable patch, holding a plastic bag. Xiao Yi felt an ominous premonition, and he quietly approached, wanting to see what Su Ya was doing.
Su Ya looked around and, after making sure no one was paying attention, she quickly bent down and began to pull up the seedlings in the vegetable patch. Her movements were skillful and quick, and it was obvious that this was not her first time doing such a thing. Xiao Yi's heart sank to the bottom of the valley. He couldn't believe his eyes, and he couldn't believe that this seemingly gentle woman would do such a shameful thing.
Xiao Yi rushed forward angrily and grabbed Su Ya's wrist. Su Ya was startled and turned around to see that it was Xiao Yi. Her face turned pale. She tried to struggle, but Xiao Yi's grip was so strong that she couldn't get away at all.
"What are you doing?" Xiao Yi's voice was full of anger and disappointment.
Su Ya stammered and couldn't speak, she just lowered her head, not daring to look Xiao Yi in the eye.
"You actually wanted to steal my seedlings to sell for money? How did you become like this?" Xiao Yi's voice was trembling, he couldn't accept this fact.
Su Ya finally raised her head, a trace of guilt and helplessness flashing in her eyes. She said softly: "I... I have no choice. I'm short of money recently and want to sell something to make some money."
"Just because you're short of money, you can steal things? Do you know that this is illegal?" Xiao Yi roared.
Su Ya was silent for a moment, then whispered: "I know I was wrong, I will never do this again."
However, Xiao Yi had already lost his trust in her. He could no longer trust this woman who had once moved his heart, nor could he tolerate her hypocrisy and greed. He let go of her hand and said coldly, "Let's break up."
Su Ya was stunned. She didn't seem to expect Xiao Yi to be so decisive. She wanted to explain, wanted to make amends, but Xiao Yi had already turned and left, leaving her alone standing by the vegetable patch, facing the empty plastic bag and a messy vegetable patch.
Xiao Yi was filled with disappointment and anger. He felt like he had been deceived by a greedy beast. He recalled every moment he had spent with Su Ya. Those seemingly warm moments had now become so ironic and ridiculous. He regretted not seeing Su Ya's true face, and he also regretted the sincerity and affection he had given her.
This experience made Xiao Yi deeply aware of the complexity and volatility of human nature. He understood a truth: appearance is often just a facade, and the true inner world needs to be explored and understood with heart. He no longer easily believed others' appearances, but learned to look at people and things more cautiously and rationally.
