"The rain is going to stop! The rain is going to stop!" someone shouted excitedly.
The others also cheered, and the emotions that had been suppressed for a long time were released at this moment.
Xiao Yi looked at the ray of light, and an indescribable feeling of emotion welled up in his heart. They had finally made it through, and this long and painful wait was finally coming to an end.
As the downpour subsided, the air seemed to grow fresher. Everyone eagerly breathed in the long-lost fresh air, feeling the gradually returning vitality.
When the door of the shelter slowly opened, everyone rushed out.
They stood there, staring blankly at the world before them, ravaged by the torrential rain. The familiar landscape had been shattered beyond recognition, with fallen trees, washed-out roads, and muddy water everywhere.
The earth seemed to have undergone a brutal baptism, and it was in ruins. Some people could not help but sigh softly, their hearts filled with emotion.
They recalled the little things they used to do here, which formed a sharp contrast with the current scene.
"Is this still the place we are familiar with?" someone murmured to himself.
"Yeah, it's changed a lot." Another person agreed.
Xiao Yi looked at all this with a lot of emotion in his heart. The damage caused by this rainstorm was beyond imagination, but he also knew that they had to start over and rebuild their lives.
People couldn't wait to rush out.
Some people leaned forward, one foot already stepped out, as if ready to dash out at any moment, their eyes fixed on the door, flashing with anxiety, their hands slightly clenched into fists, as if gathering strength.
Some people were jumping briskly, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation, eager to experience the outside world. Their bodies swayed slightly, ready to rush out at top speed at any moment.
A young man took a deep breath and took a big step forward. His steps were firm and powerful, and his eyes were full of desire for freedom.
Although an old man was not as agile, he also tried his best to speed up his pace. His slightly trembling hands tightly grasped the corners of his clothes, trying to keep up with everyone's pace.
The women held their children's hands, urging them to be careful, as they walked quickly forward. Their pace was a bit hurried, but they were full of longing for a new life.
Others, the moment they stepped out of the door, raised their hands high and cheered loudly, as if celebrating their new life. Their steps were so fast that they stirred a breeze, and their faces were filled with irrepressible joy.
Everyone rushed out of the shelter in his or her own unique way. Their movements were either eager, excited, or determined, which together formed a picture full of hope and vitality, running towards the outside world to greet a new beginning.
Amidst these ruins, they must regain their confidence and strive forward. Although the future is full of unknowns and challenges, they have already experienced the most difficult times and believe that nothing can easily defeat them again.
Everyone stood there for a long time without saying a word, just watching quietly and thinking about what to do in the future.
After Xiao Yi came to his senses, he hurried to the RV parked nearby. When he got closer, his heart sank. The RV had indeed suffered some damage.
The door was slightly deformed, the window was cracked, and some key components seemed to be malfunctioning. Xiao Yi frowned, knowing that the RV would play a vital role in their next move.
He called for everyone to come over, and everyone gathered around and looked at the damaged RV with solemn expressions on their faces.
"We have to fix it quickly, otherwise we won't be able to move forward." Xiao Yi said.
Everyone nodded in agreement, and they immediately took action. Some went to find tools, some began to dismantle the damaged parts, and Xiao Yi was thinking carefully about the repair plan.
In an open space, people gathered around the car that needed repair.
Someone opened the hood and carefully examined the interior, their brows furrowed slightly, their eyes focused and serious. Holding tools, they carefully reached inside, gently touching various components, trying to find the problem.
Then, a man brought in various repair tools, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. neatly placed on the side. He picked up the wrench skillfully and began to disassemble some problematic parts, each movement appearing to be very careful, for fear of damaging other parts.
Another person was helping to pass tools to the person who was repairing the tool, keeping his eyes on the person who was repairing it, ready to provide what was needed. There was not much verbal communication between them, but there was a tacit understanding between them.
After removing the faulty part, someone carefully wiped away the dust and oil around it with a rag to ensure it was clean before installing the new part. Then, they carefully picked up the new part, aligned it, and slowly installed it, their hands moving gently and steadily.
During the installation process, people offered suggestions and opinions, and everyone discussed the best installation methods. Sometimes when they encountered difficulties, everyone would stop and think of solutions together.
After the installation was complete, someone began checking other related parts to ensure that no problems had been missed. They touched here and there, looking for any possible faults.
Finally, when everything was checked, someone got into the car and started the engine. Everyone watched nervously, listening to the engine's creaking sound. When that steady thrumming sounded, everyone's faces broke into relieved smiles, their eyes filled with the satisfaction and joy of completing the task.
They were busy in the rain, sweat and rain mixed together, but no one complained, everyone was working hard to repair the RV.
