Chapter 633 The Battle of the Superpowers

Amidst the laughter, the Wood Element user's expression grew increasingly grim. He bit his lip, his hands trembling slightly, yet he was powerless to protest and could only silently endure it all. Meanwhile, those people grew even more complacent, continuing their mockery and ridicule, completely disregarding the Wood Element user's feelings.

Xiao Yi stood in the crowd, his eyes firm and calm. Facing the ridicule and doubts of the wood-type mutant, his brows furrowed slightly, and a hint of displeasure was revealed in his eyes.

He straightened his back and said in a steady and powerful voice: "Be quiet!" This voice instantly quieted the noisy crowd, and everyone looked at him in surprise.

Xiao Yi looked around at everyone, then fixed his gaze on the wood-type mutant, his eyes full of trust. He said slowly, "Don't easily deny his judgment." His voice was resounding and echoed in the air.

Then, he ignored those looks that were still filled with suspicion and disdain, and continued: "The wood-type mutant has unique perceptions and abilities that we don't understand, and his judgment of things may not be unreasonable. We can't easily ridicule and slander him because of our ignorance and prejudice." His words were serious and earnest, as if knocking on everyone's heart.

Xiao Yi took a step forward, approached the wood-type mutant, looked at him firmly and said, "I believe you. Your judgment must have its basis. Don't be influenced by what these people say." He put his hand on the wood-type mutant's shoulder, giving him support and encouragement.

The people around him began to whisper, but Xiao Yi didn't care. He still believed in his choice. His expression was serious, and his eyes flashed with determination, as if to declare to everyone that he would always stand on the side of the wood-type mutant and believe in his judgment, no matter how others objected and ridiculed him.

Xiao Yi's figure stood out in the crowd, his face tense, his eyes revealing a firm and sharp light. When everyone was sneering at the wood-type psychic, he suddenly took a step forward, his arms slightly open, as if to block all the malice for the wood-type psychic.

His voice rang out in a steady and powerful voice, carrying an undeniable aura: "Shut up!" These brief yet powerful words instantly quieted the previously noisy atmosphere, and everyone's attention was focused on him. Xiao Yi took a deep breath and looked around, his eyes filled with majesty. "What gives you the right to mock and belittle him like this?" Xiao Yi's voice rose slightly, carrying a hint of anger. "Is it because he has wood-type abilities? Have you ever considered that his abilities may have importance and potential that we haven't yet realized?" His words were resounding, and every word seemed to strike a heavy blow to the hearts of everyone.

Xiao Yi's gaze fell on the wood-type mutant again, and his eyes instantly became soft and full of trust. "I believe in his judgment, he must have his reasons and basis. We can't easily deny him because of our own short-sightedness and prejudice." His hand was firmly placed on the wood-type mutant's shoulder, giving him silent support and encouragement.

"How many times has he helped us with his wood-related abilities? Have you forgotten?" Xiao Yi's eyes swept over everyone. "Now, just because of this one disagreement, you completely deny him. Is this fair?" His voice echoed in the air with a powerful appeal.

Some people fell silent, their faces reflecting in thought, while others still murmured in dissatisfaction. Xiao Yi remained unmoved. He straightened his spine, like an unshakable mountain. "I, Xiao Yi, solemnly declare here that I trust him. His judgment is mine!" With that, he stood firmly beside the Wood Element user, confronting the crowd, demonstrating his position with his actions. He showed no sign of retreat, no fear, and amidst the chorus of doubters, he guarded that rare trust.

In the pitch-black night, countless tiny fireflies suddenly appeared, flickering with faint light. They were like stars scattered from the sky, dancing lightly in the air, creating a dreamlike scene.

These little fireflies flashed yellow and green, twinkling as if they were performing a mysterious dance. They circled and flew through the air, their numbers increasing until they gradually filled the entire space.

However, when these tiny fireflies touch a person, something unexpected happens. A series of subtle "bangs" rang out, and each firefly suddenly exploded the moment it made contact with the human body. Although the explosions were small, they still released considerable power.

At that moment, countless tiny sparks seemed to burst forth around the person, carrying a subtle impact. Those touched felt only a slight vibration and sting, as if struck by a pebble. The once beautiful fireflies now seemed like hidden, dangerous weapons. While their explosions wouldn't cause significant damage, they were enough to surprise and catch people off guard. As more and more fireflies exploded upon contact with people, a faint scent of gunpowder filled the air. The dreamlike scene suddenly became tense and dangerous, forcing one to feel a sense of wariness and awe at these seemingly fragile little fireflies.

Xiao Yi led a group of survivors to the edge of the supernatural forest. The forest looked gloomy and mysterious, filled with a strange atmosphere. They knew that in order to reach a safe area, they had to pass through the forest.

Xiao Yi took a deep breath and looked back at the people behind him. Their eyes were filled with both expectation and fear. Xiao Yi said loudly: "Don't be afraid, everyone. As long as we unite, we will be able to successfully cross this forest." Everyone nodded and encouraged themselves.
