Chapter 636: Ability Fusion

He carefully reached out and gently removed the crystal from the spider's remains. The crystal felt slightly warm, as if it held some powerful energy. He examined it carefully, his eyes filled with surprise and curiosity.

Under the sunlight, the yellow light from the crystal became even more dazzling, a light that seemed to penetrate one's eyes and penetrate deep into one's heart. He could sense that this crystal was no ordinary object. The energy fluctuations it emanated even triggered a strange induction in his lightning abilities. The people around him were also drawn to the shimmering yellow crystal, casting surprised and puzzled glances at it, all wondering about the origin and purpose of this mysterious crystal.

The Wood Elementalist felt a strange feeling when he saw the yellow-glowing crystal in the Lightning Elementalist's hand. He walked forward and examined the crystal carefully.

As he slowly infused his wood-based energy into the crystal, a startling scene occurred. The yellow light on the crystal suddenly grew brighter, and countless fine threads of energy seemed to flow through it. He could clearly feel a pure and powerful energy flowing into his body along with his energy.

As this energy permeated him, he was pleasantly surprised to find that his wood-based abilities seemed to become more active and operated more smoothly, as if they had been greatly improved and strengthened.

Then, an idea flashed through his mind. He tried to bring the crystal near a victim bitten by a poisonous spider. As the crystal approached the victim, the jet-black poison in the wound began to fade at a visible speed, as if being drawn out by an invisible force. Soon, the victim's pained expression gradually eased, and the poison in their body was miraculously cleared.

He stared wide-eyed, incredulous. He realized that this crystal not only enhanced his abilities but also possessed such potent detoxifying properties. The people around him shared expressions of astonishment and delight, each realizing the preciousness and importance of this crystal. It was like a ray of light in the darkness, bringing new hope and strength to everyone. The wood-type psychic also knew they must make good use of this miraculous crystal to face the challenges and crises that lay ahead.

Xiao Yi stared at the large group of poisonous spiders in front of him with a sharp gaze. He took a deep breath and shouted, "Brothers, go!" In an instant, he rushed towards the group of poisonous spiders like an arrow from a string, the long sword in his hand flashing with cold light, and slashed at the poisonous spiders fiercely.

The people around him showed no sign of weakness, each displaying their unique skills. Some brandished their broadswords, each strike accompanied by a whirring sound as they sliced the poisonous spiders in half; others brandished their spears, their tips as nimble as venomous snakes, constantly piercing the spiders' bodies.

The poisonous spiders also sensed the danger and began to counterattack frantically, spewing venom from their mouths and dancing their eight long legs quickly, trying to block the attacks of the crowd. But Xiao Yi and the others were not afraid at all. They dodged left and right, avoiding the venom attacks, and continued to launch more fierce attacks.

Xiao Yi's movements were as fast as lightning. He moved freely among the swarm of poisonous spiders, and every move he made could accurately hit the target. His sword continued to harvest the lives of the poisonous spiders, and yellow crystals fell from the corpses of the poisonous spiders. The others were not willing to fall behind, and they attacked desperately, hoping to win more yellow crystals for themselves.

The battle intensified, the scene chaotic and breathtaking. Like valiant warriors, Xiao Yi and his companions engaged in a desperate struggle with the swarm of poisonous spiders, striving to obtain more precious yellow crystals. Their cries mingled with the spiders' screams, echoing throughout the space. The spiders began to stir, their hideous mouthparts opening and closing constantly, as if brewing something terrifying. Suddenly, a poisonous spider took the lead, its bulging abdomen suddenly contracting, and a thin black silk thread shot out like lightning. The silk traced a strange arc through the air, carrying a pungent smell as it shot straight towards Xiao Yi and his companions.

Soon, other poisonous spiders followed suit. Suddenly, countless black threads shot out from every direction like a dense rain of arrows. These threads intertwined and tangled in the air, weaving a massive black web that enveloped everyone with deadly menace. Some threads, upon contact with the ground or walls, clung tightly to them, as if to bind everything.

The spider silk shimmered with an eerie light, the venom reflecting in the sunlight, sending chills down one's spine. Some threads vibrated at high speed in the air, emitting a chilling buzzing sound, like the prelude to death. As the venomous spider continuously released its silk, the entire space seemed to be filled with this black terror. The air became thick and oppressive, making one feel as if they were in a nightmare filled with venom and danger.

Xiao Yi and his companions were gradually losing strength in their fierce battle with the swarm of poisonous spiders. Suddenly, a poisonous spider hiding in the shadows seized the opportunity and suddenly shot out a sharp spider silk, shooting it at one of them like a swift arrow. The man was so focused on the attack that he was careless and failed to dodge in time. The spider silk instantly pierced his skin.

Almost instantly, he felt a strange sensation spreading rapidly from the punctured area. An unbearable burning sensation began to burn through his body. His face instantly turned red, veins popped on his forehead, and large beads of sweat rolled down.

He tried to stay awake, but the poison was too powerful. His vision began to blur, and the surrounding scenery seemed to be distorted. He felt his body gradually become heavy, his limbs began to lose control, and he almost dropped his weapon.
