Chapter 641 Paradise

Under the influence of this geomagnetic storm, the virus began to undergo strange changes. As if endowed with some mysterious power, the originally tiny virus particles began to twist and deform wildly.

Some of the infected began to experience strange phenomena. Their skin sometimes shimmered with an eerie light, sometimes shimmered in iridescent colors, as if countless electrical currents coursed through their bodies. Some people's limbs began to twist and stretch erratically, their bones emitting a chilling creaking sound. Animals were not spared either. Once-docile cats suddenly sprouted sharp fangs, their eyes turned crimson, and they let out heart-wrenching roars. Birds shed their feathers, replaced by iron-hard scales, their wings flapping like whirlwinds. Chaos reigned in the city streets. People watched in horror as the events unfolded, screaming and fleeing. Some collapsed and writhed in agony as they mutated, while others transformed into grotesque monsters, pouncing on those around them. Buildings were also affected, with twisted cracks appearing on the walls, as if on the verge of collapse. Metalwork began to shake violently, emitting a sharp, whistling sound.

The world seemed to have fallen into a frenzy. The mutations brought about by the combination of geomagnetic storms and the virus enveloped every corner like a nightmare. Fear and despair spread throughout the people, and no one knew where this terrifying mutation would lead the world. They drifted across the vast ocean when, in their bewildered vision, a faint sliver of land suddenly appeared. As the ship approached, the outline of the land gradually became clearer. It turned out to be a small island.

As the boat slowly approached the shore of the island, a strange feeling welled up in everyone's hearts. The waves gently lapped against the side of the boat, making a crisp sound. They carefully docked the boat and set foot on this mysterious island.

The island is filled with a tranquil atmosphere. Tall trees are lush and verdant, their branches and leaves intertwined, forming patches of natural green shade. The soft grass underfoot feels like stepping on a green velvet carpet.

They walked along a winding path, the occasional soft rustling of the bushes on either side stirring curiosity and a touch of nervousness. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting streaks of golden light into a dreamlike scene. The deeper they ventured into the island, the more they felt the unknown. Occasionally, they spotted oddly shaped rocks, seemingly telling of the passage of time. The air was filled with the faint fragrance of flowers and the aroma of dampness, a unique blend.

They looked around curiously, trying to discover the island's secrets. The distant chirping of birds only added to the island's mystique. It was as if they had stumbled into a secluded world, where everything seemed new and challenging. They slowly stepped onto the island, feeling as if they had entered a secluded wonderland.

The first thing that caught my eye was a dazzling sea of flowers. The vibrant colors of the blossoms clashed with one another, some red like fire, some pink like clouds, some white like snow. Each one was incredibly beautiful, petals adorned with shimmering dewdrops, gleaming enchantingly in the sunlight. Bees buzzed busily amidst the sea of flowers, while butterflies danced gracefully among the blossoms, their graceful figures like fairies.

Beyond, a lush forest unfolds. Tall trees stand upright, their crowns dense and umbrella-like, their branches interwoven into a canopy of green. A gentle breeze rustles the leaves, creating a natural symphony. Birds sing joyfully in the woods, their clear and melodious voices echoing one after another, weaving into a captivating harmony. Some birds rest on branches, preening their beautiful feathers; others flit through the trees, their graceful movements captivating the senses.

Walking along a small path, I passed a crystal-clear stream, its water gurgling and splashing like a dancing musical note. The sand and rocks at the bottom were clearly visible, and small fish swam happily in the water, occasionally leaping out of the water, creating tiny splashes of water. Tender green grass and unknown wildflowers dotted the streamside, adding a touch of playfulness to the beautiful scenery.

Occasionally, you could spot a few adorable little animals on the grass. Little rabbits, their long ears erect, vigilantly observed their surroundings, darting away at the first sign of movement. Squirrels hopped on branches, pine cones clutched in their mouths. The entire island was brimming with life and energy, without a trace of apocalypse. It was as if time had stood still here, everything serene, beautiful, and vibrant. As everyone stepped onto this seemingly untouched island, their faces lit up with irrepressible excitement.

Their eyes were wide open, sparkling with surprise, their eyeballs moving rapidly, as if trying to take in all this beauty at once. Their mouths unconsciously opened wide, letting out sounds of exclamation.

"Wow!" someone couldn't help but shout, his voice full of excitement and disbelief. Others followed suit, and the excited voices echoed over the island.

Some people danced, arms waving wildly, their steps becoming light and chaotic, as if to release their inner ecstasy. They looked at each other, their faces filled with bright smiles, smiles full of intoxication at this unexpected surprise. "This is incredible!" someone shouted excitedly, their voice trembling. The people next to them nodded repeatedly, too excited to speak complete sentences, and just kept repeating "Great, great..."

They ran and laughed in the sea of flowers, taking in the fragrance of the flowers and the soft grass. Some even lay down on the grass, gazing at the blue sky and white clouds, savoring this rare joy and relaxation.
