Chapter 752 Supreme Catastrophe 2

With each flash of lightning, the blinding light instantly ripped through the darkness, like a razor-sharp sword descending from the sky, piercing the earth. The instant the intense light appeared, the entire world was plunged into a shimmering whiteness, and everything became strange and terrifying. Immediately following, a deafening explosion threatened to rupture the eardrums. For everyone, each lightning strike was a crushing blow. Like a barbed whip, it mercilessly lashed at their fragile hearts. As the lightning flashed, their pupils constricted, their hearts tightened, as if gripped by a cold hand. In that instant, time froze, and fear spread rapidly within them. The lightning's power was immense, as if carrying the wrath and judgment of heaven. With each strike, the shred of hope that had just ignited within them was extinguished, leaving behind only endless despair and darkness. They could feel their hearts trembling, a fear that penetrated their very bones. Each lightning strike served as a stark reminder of their insignificance and helplessness before the raging might of nature. Some clutched their chests, gasping for air, trying to ease the suffocating pain. But the lightning flashed relentlessly, streaking one after another, exacerbating the trauma of their hearts. Under this relentless lash, their spirits nearly collapsed. Their eyes grew dull, devoid of their former brilliance, leaving only a deep fear and helplessness at the unknown fate.

"Oh my God, how can we survive?" A cry of endless despair and terror trembled from his parched lips. As soon as the words fell, a deathly silence fell, as if even the air had frozen. The man's eyes widened, filled with utter fear for an unknown fate. His body trembled incessantly, as if he were trapped in a world of ice and snow. His already pale face was now even more bloodless, and his lips trembled uncontrollably. Tears of fear gathered rapidly in his eyes, swirling around him. Those tears seemed to carry all the pain and helplessness within him, each drop filled with the longing for life and the fear of death. His gaze darted between the raging thunderstorm and his equally terrified companions, as if searching for an answer that didn't exist. His eyes could no longer bear the weight of the tears, and drop after drop rolled down, streaking across his dusty and exhausted face, leaving distinct tear marks. He raised his hands, attempting to wipe away his tears, but his hands trembled, making even this simple gesture impossible. Tears mixed with sweat made his face appear even more disheveled and miserable. The people around him, hearing his cries, felt a wave of sadness in their hearts. But faced with this apocalyptic scene, they too were bewildered, unsure how to answer this question of life and death.

Purple poisonous dragons soared through the sky, carrying a terrifying force of destruction. Their bodies twisted and shimmered with lightning, like demons from hell, mercilessly unleashing their fury upon the world. Wherever these dragons swooped down, the earth groaned in pain and trembled violently. The once solid ground instantly undulated like the surface of a turbulent sea, and huge cracks spread like spiderwebs. Houses seemed vulnerable to this overwhelming force. First, they trembled under the trembling earth, then the impact of the dragons crushed them. Walls crumbled, bricks and stones flew, and wooden frames were instantly reduced to shattered pieces. Roofs were completely torn apart, swirling in the air before crashing heavily to the ground. Window glass shattered with a sharp sound, and fragments rained down like raindrops. Furniture and belongings within the house were thrown into the air by the immense force and fell back down, shattered. Once warm homes, ravaged by the poisonous dragons, were instantly reduced to ruins. Places that held memories of people's lives were now reduced to shattered walls and billowing dust. The cobblestones of the streets were ripped apart, and huge potholes appeared in the ground, like ferocious mouths threatening to devour everything. Bridges shattered, rivers flooded back, and the world was plunged into chaos and despair. And this was only the beginning of the destruction. The poisonous dragons roared on, their power seemingly boundless, leaving desolation wherever they passed, as if wiping out the entire world.

The base's defenses, those meticulously constructed steel ramparts and sturdy concrete fortifications, paled like fragile paper before the overwhelming force of the purple dragon. The once highly anticipated protective electric grid, sparked in an instant by the first lightning strike, was reduced to a heap of twisted scrap metal. Huge cracks appeared in the reinforced walls as the earth trembled violently, then collapsed under the weight, sending up a cloud of dust. The missile launchers in the air defense facilities, teetering on the brink of collapse under the raging wind, were uprooted and smashed into nearby buildings before they could even fire a single shell. The base's internal defense systems, those sophisticated sensors and monitoring equipment, failed under the intense electromagnetic interference, leaving only a chaotic blur of snow and a cacophony of noise on the screens. "It's over, everything is over!" Desperate cries echoed one after another. These voices, filled with endless pain and helplessness, echoed among the ruins. A soldier, staring at the crumbling defenses before him, cried out at the top of his lungs, "All our efforts are in vain! How can we possibly withstand this?" His eyes were filled with despair, his weapon slipping helplessly from his grasp. An engineer collapsed to the ground, watching his meticulously designed defenses crumble in an instant, muttering to himself, "This is an irresistible force. We've lost, completely lost." A group of civilians huddled together, horrified by the devastation around them, their cries and shouts mingling: "There's no hope! It's all over!" Their eyes lost their last shred of light, leaving only deep despair and uncertainty about the future. The entire base was engulfed in a sea of despair, its spirits utterly crushed by this relentless onslaught, as if they had plunged into an endless abyss of darkness, with no hope of survival left.
