No matter how many hardships and obstacles lay ahead, they clung to their shreds of hope for survival with steel, unflinchingly forging ahead across the vast ocean. Every morning, as the first rays of sunlight pierced the thick clouds and shone across the sea, Xiao Yi and his companions embraced the faint light of dawn, reviving their spirits. Their eyes, bloodshot, still shone with a resolute longing for land, a lingering attachment to life. The waves continued to pound the boat relentlessly, their spray like a rain of cold arrows, repeatedly trying to extinguish the flames of hope in their hearts. But they clung to the side of the boat, letting the wind and rain batter them, their bodies heaving with the ship's pitch, never once thinking of giving up. Hunger was a constant presence, and every stomachache felt like a demon's mockery, but they endured, their tenacious will defying their weakening bodies. Thirst made their throats smoke, but they conserved every drop of water, knowing it was the source of life. At night, the chilly sea breeze scraped through their skin like sharp ice knives, shaving away the last bit of warmth. Yet, they clung to each other, warming each other with warmth and faith, together resisting the cold and darkness. Day after day, they drifted across this vast ocean, their hope never extinguished. After each storm, they rearranged their boat, repaired the damage, and continued on their journey toward the unknown. Whenever despair struck, they encouraged each other, recalling their distant loved ones and fond memories, letting these become the motivation to persevere. They didn't know how long they would have to drift on this sea, nor what hardships they would face next. But they held only one conviction: to persevere, waiting for land to appear. For that was the shore of their existence, the ultimate destination of all their perseverance and hard work.
"Don't give up, there is hope." These simple words, like an eternally burning sacred flame, were deeply engraved in their hearts, becoming their unwavering faith. In every moment when the waves pounded them, when fear surged like a tide, these words would echo in Xiao Yi's mind. He would grit his teeth, clench his fists, and tell himself: As long as we don't give up, we will find a way out. Even in the face of raging storms, even when the ship seemed poised to be swallowed by the sea at any moment, he firmly believed that as long as he persisted, hope would prevail. For Li Hua, this faith sustained him in times of extreme hunger, when his body was almost paralyzed by weakness. Whenever he felt he had reached his limit and wanted to close his eyes and give up, the words "Don't give up, there is hope" were like a strong wind, blowing away the gloom in his heart. He would forcefully open his eyes, using every last ounce of his strength to search for a chance of survival. When Lao Wang shivered in the chilly sea breeze, this faith was like a warm fire, giving him strength. He would repeat these words silently in his heart, forcing his willpower to overcome the chill of his body and continue his struggle for survival. For others, this faith was a beacon that illuminated the path forward amidst loneliness and despair, a source of strength that held back tears countless times when they wanted to break down and cry. It was deeply rooted in each person's soul, unwavering no matter how great the difficulties or the pain. This faith was not just an empty slogan, but the spiritual pillar that sustained them in this vast ocean. It allowed them to see a glimmer of hope even in the darkest moments, and gave them the courage to move forward even in the most difficult situations. They firmly believed that as long as they held on to this faith, as long as they did not give up, they would one day step onto solid land and embrace the dawn of a new life.
That night, the tranquil sea surface was shattered by a tsunami triggered by an underground earthquake. At first, it was a gentle tremor, as if the sea had inadvertently stirred in its slumber. However, the tremors soon intensified, and a dull, terrifying sound emanated from the depths of the ocean, like the furious roar of a great beast. Then, a massive wall of water rose rapidly from the distant horizon, blocking out the sky and the sun, surging forward with destructive force. The waves rolled, foaming, like countless mad white horses galloping. The waves rose higher and higher, gathering energy and pushing forward with unstoppable force. The howling wind mingled with the roar of the waves, forming a terrifying symphony. Boats approaching the shore were instantly overturned, as fragile as toys in the hands of children. The immense force of the impact shattered them, scattering debris everywhere. Houses along the coast began to crumble under the first wave, then were completely consumed, leaving behind only ruins and endless despair. People screamed in terror and fled in all directions. But before the unbridled might of nature, their steps seemed dwarfed and powerless. Some were swept away by the waves, instantly vanishing; others clung to whatever they could find, trying to cling to a glimmer of hope. The entire coastline was plunged into chaos and despair. The once beautiful and tranquil seashore had become a living hell. The raging tsunami raged relentlessly, seemingly wiping out all life and hope.
The surging waves roared, seemingly consuming everything. The waves, like endless mountains, one after another, crashed towards the land with overwhelming force. The waves rose high, revealing a ferocious face, and the splashing water gleamed coldly in the moonlight, like the fangs of a demon. The roar of the waves was deafening, like the roar of thousands of beasts in unison, making the heart tremble. Each wave contained immense power, crashing and crushing each other, unleashing astonishing energy. Foam swirled on the crests, torn into countless fragments by the wind, only to be swept back to the bottom. The water was a deep, inky blue, shrouded in a chilling mystery and the unknown. As the waves approached the shore, they grew fiercer and more violent. The once solid reefs were easily crushed and swept away by the waves. The beach was rapidly submerged, the coastline receding, as if the entire world was trembling under the ravages of the waves. The surging waves, as if possessing a will of their own, rushed forward recklessly, determined to sweep everything before them into the endless abyss, making the land also the territory of the ocean.
