"Yes...it's the exit to the underground garage," Lin Yuxuan said breathlessly, "but it's minus seventy degrees outside..."
"It's better than dying here!" Xiao Yi interrupted her, "Open the door!"
Lin Yuxuan took out the key with trembling hands, but the key fell to the ground. Xiao Yi quickly picked it up and inserted it into the keyhole.
With a "click", the door opened.
The biting cold wind rushed in instantly, as if countless ice knives were cutting on the face. Xiao Yi took off his coat and wrapped the little girl, then rushed out with the two sisters.
The pursuers behind them obviously didn't expect them to choose this road, and hesitated for a moment before chasing them. But these few seconds of hesitation gave Xiao Yi and the others precious time.
"Run over there!" Xiao Yi pointed to a building not far away. "That's the parking lot management office. There's heating inside!"
The three of them struggled forward through the snow, each step like struggling through mud. Gunfire continued behind them, but the extreme cold had affected the performance of their weapons, and the bullets were missing.

Just then, there was a sudden roar of an engine outside.

"Scavenger?"

The roar of the engine was getting closer and closer, and Xiao Yi quickly scanned the environment of the management office. The space here was small and not suitable for defense, but there was one advantage - they were familiar with the terrain.
"Follow me!" Xiao Yi pulled the two sisters to the basement, "I remember there is a maintenance passage here."
Lin Yuxuan's sister suddenly broke free from his hand: "Wait! I know a shorter way!"
The little girl ran to a wall and pushed open a seemingly fixed filing cabinet. A narrow passage suddenly appeared behind it.
"This is..." Lin Yuxuan opened her eyes wide in surprise.
"I found it when I was locked up in the basement," the little girl explained. "It leads to the area near the warehouse in Area B."
A glint of appreciation flashed in Xiao Yi's eyes: "Well done. Let's go!"
The three of them entered the passage, and Xiao Yi took a last look at the management office's surveillance screen. The scavenger team had surrounded the building. They were wearing special winter clothing and were well-equipped.
The passage was pitch black, illuminated only by Xiao Yi's phone. The air was filled with a musty smell, and the occasional sound of rats running by could be heard.
"There's a fork in the road ahead," the little girl said suddenly. "The left leads to the warehouse, and the right... I don't know where it leads."
Xiao Yi stopped and listened carefully. Suddenly, he smiled and said, "Listen, there is the sound of flowing water."
"It's the heating pipe!" Lin Yuxuan suddenly realized, "If we can follow the pipe..."
"That's right," Xiao Yi nodded, "We can go directly to the heating control room."
Just then, footsteps were heard behind them. The scavenger team had discovered the passage!
"We'll split up," Xiao Yi made a quick decision, "you go to the warehouse, and I'll go to the control room."
"But..." Lin Yuxuan hesitated.
"Believe me," Xiao Yi said firmly, "this is the only chance."
