After they were far away, Xiao Yi dared to come out: "Chen Feng, what's going on?"
Chen Feng turned around and pointed his gun at Xiao Yi: "Sorry, old friend. But I can't let you ruin our plan."
Xiao Yi looked at him in shock: "You...you are also an experimental subject?"

Xiao Yi's brain was working rapidly: "So all this... is an experiment?"

He motioned Xiao Yi to follow and took him to a hidden room. Inside was a dense array of surveillance screens, showing scenes from countless parallel universes.
"Look," Chen Feng pointed to a screen, "This is our Earth. And here..." He switched to another screen, "This is the Earth that has been destroyed by the Observer."
In the picture, the entire planet was in pieces, as if it had been torn apart by something.
"We discovered the true purpose of the Observers," Chen Feng explained. "They're not conducting experiments, but harvesting. Just like humans harvest crops, they're harvesting the entire universe."
Xiao Yi felt difficulty breathing: "Then the Earth Federation..."
"We established a line of defense," Chen Feng said, "but the power of one universe alone is not enough. So we created 'Project X' to train agents in countless parallel universes to find a way to fight the Observers."
"Lin Xue..."
"She's the most successful experimental subject," Chen Feng said with a hint of pride. "She not only awakened her own awareness, but also discovered the observer's weaknesses. Now, her data is scattered throughout all parallel universes, like... a vaccine."
Xiao Yi suddenly understood something: "So you need my gene sample..."

Just then, the alarm suddenly sounded.
"Warning: Observer breaches seventh line of defense!"

He quickly operated the console and called up a set of data: "Xiao Yi, there is no time to explain. You must go to the seventh universe and find X-138. Only by joining forces can you activate the final defense system."

Chen Feng did not answer, but pressed a button. Xiao Yi felt dizzy and the familiar feeling of teleportation came over him again.

When Xiao Yi opened his eyes again, he found himself standing in a bustling city. It looked very similar to the Earth he was familiar with, but the sky was purple and holographic advertisements were floating on the streets.
A familiar figure was standing not far away, looking at him in surprise.

Before Xiao Yi could answer, a huge crack suddenly appeared in the sky, and a huge black shadow began to slowly descend.

The city beneath the purple sky seemed futuristic, but now it was in chaos. Crowds of people on the streets panicked and fled in all directions.
X-138—or rather, Lin Xue of this universe—looked at Xiao Yi warily: "Why are you here? Where's Chen Feng?"
Just as Xiao Yi was about to answer, the crack in the sky suddenly widened, and a dazzling purple beam shot towards the ground. The building that was hit was instantly reduced to ashes.
"No time to explain!" Xiao Yi shouted, "We must get out of here!"
Lin Xue hesitated for a moment, but nodded in agreement. She pulled Xiao Yi into a nearby building, skillfully entered the password, and opened a hidden door.
"This is our safe house," she explained. "It's shielded from observers."
The safe house is filled with various high-tech equipment, and there are multiple display screens hanging on the wall, showing real-time images of different locations.
Xiao Yi noticed that one of the screens displayed the logo of the Earth Federation.
"Are you connected to the Earth Federation?" he asked.
Lin Xue's expression became complicated. "Not exactly. The Earth Federation in this universe... has already fallen."
She pulled up a surveillance video that showed the Earth Federation's top brass performing some kind of ritual, their eyes turning a strange purple.
"The Observers have somehow controlled their consciousness," Lin Xue said. "We suspect that the Earth Federation in every universe has been infiltrated."
Xiao Yi remembered Chen Feng's last warning: "Don't trust anyone..."
"How did you get here?" Lin Xue suddenly asked.
Xiao Yi briefly explained his previous experience, but did not mention that Chen Feng might be an experimental subject.
After listening to this, Lin Xue was thoughtful: "It seems that the situation in the main universe is more complicated than we imagined."
Suddenly, the alarm sounded.
"Warning: High-dimensional energy fluctuations detected!"
Lin Xue quickly pulled up the surveillance footage. On the street, some pedestrians' bodies began to twist and deform, transforming into translucent purple creatures.
"The Observer's advance team," Lin Xue gritted her teeth. "They invaded by controlling humans."
Xiao Yi looked at the mutated creatures and suddenly thought of something: "Wait... if the observer invades through mind control, then..."
